Had my first appointment at Boheme Salon today. I was thrilled to find a salon that uses natural products and is committed to empowering women and being a welcoming space for all. I have naturally curly hair, so I made an appointment with Charlotte, who specializes in curly cuts. The experience was wonderful! Charlotte listened to what I wanted and made suggestions to give me a cut that best suited my curls. The all-natural products she used smelled heavenly and left my curls soft, light, and bouncy. She took her time and I felt very pampered throughout the entire visit. The complementary beverage and lavender neck wrap (you can select a complementary beverage and service!) added to the feeling of being pampered, and while Charlotte did suggest products, there was no pressure to purchase everything she'd used. (I did purchase the curl gel). I loved the natural aesthetic of the salon, the friendliness of the staff, and I'm very happy with my new cut! If you have curly hair and are struggling to find someone to take good care of your curls, I recommend Charlotte and Boheme Salon!

I have been going to Boheme for 6+ years. I read all of the negative reviews below, and let me just remind you there are always two sides to each story. What most people don't realize, is that this salon is RARE- organic and almost completely non-toxic. It's the only place I can get my hair done without getting a headache from the fragrances and fumes. Guys, brain cancer and all other cancers are on the rise. Beauty is not worth it if it's going to kill you. I'm thankful for Boheme!

Great salon with good hair products! Brooke is a color and highlighting genius! I would not go to anyone else for cut color and styling.

Chloe does an amazing job with my color (it’s darker now than my google profile pic). I love that it always feels super healthy. Bonus—she’s super friendly and I always feel welcome at the salon :)

I LOVE this salon and atmosphere. Chloe did an excellent job with my summer blonde transition! She made sure to understand my goals and adjust the appointment as needed. She took her time to make sure my full highlights looked natural and complete, highly recommend going to see her!

I have naturally curly hair and am in the process of rescuing it. Chloe has done such a good job at cutting and styling my curls!! She is so sweet and attentive and so patient!! I always feel like my hair is in good hands with Chloe. I can't wait to go back in the summer!!!

Boheme is the first salon I went to after moving to the area. I was nervous about finding a new hair stylist as I had gone to the same one for years. I decided to trust one of the stylists here to work on my hair which was blonde. It had grown out a bit so she let me know to trust the process and it would take 2 sessions to get the blonde I wanted, which was no problem. We got along great (so I thought) and I was trusting both her and the process. After the third session, I was not getting the blonde I wanted even after telling her I was not satisfied with the tone (of blonde) I was receiving. My hair was looking more orange than blonde every session. I made the decision to seek out another stylist outside of boheme to get the results I wanted. Once going to her, she informed me that my hair was over processed and I had extreme breakage. There were inch gaps in the bottom layers of my hair from her missing them while foiling. The new stylist did not feel comfortable lightening my hair any more at that point for risk of it breaking off. It has been 2 months since, and at this point she did a test strand to see if my hair is ready to be lightened and it broke off about an inch from my root, meaning if I had gone to boheme one more time or if another stylist was not forthcoming and did go through with lightening it, I could have lost all of my hair. I have never had problems with breakage or anything similar with my hair, and going to a salon who prioritizes “all-natural organic, plant based products and color” was not something I thought would result damaging my hair to this extent. I have now had to chop my hair and keep it dark for my hair to recoup. I am thankful I went elsewhere to someone honest, who is not just in it for a paycheck at risk of my hair. I not only feel betrayed but I now have spent hundreds of dollars to have my hair destroyed and have gone & will have to go months to reach my desired color.

Horrible experience with the salon. Went in for highlights and came out with breakage and white hair. When I contacted the owner, she basically blew me off and was unresponsive. Would not recommend this salon at all!

Edit: I did go back and had a haircut with Diane. She did a great job and I’ll be coming back for a dye in a few weeks! Very happy now Not thrilled with my haircut. This was my first time going to this salon and Emily cut my hair. I had spent the last six months growing my hair out and had gotten a lot of length. I wanted it to be cut just up to my shoulders with it layering up to my face so it framed my face. What I got is essentially a bob cut up to my chin. When I told her it was shorter than I wanted she was like well at least it will grow out. I asked her to do some more layering around my face to kind of salvage it. I’m very upset that all the work I put into growing it out is gone. I want to give this salon another try since it’s one of the few organic salons but I’ll be trying a different stylist.

This is it, you’ve found it, the best salon in Greenville. This is such an amazing group of ladies who are masters of their craft. Personally, I have seen Allison and MC (who are both fabulous) but I think no matter what stylist you select you can’t go wrong. As far as products, they use organic color and I love that I’m not left with that strong “chemical” odor after I get fresh color. I have nothing but praise for Boheme! Check them out for yourself.

This salon and Christina are amazing! Everyone there seems great, but I've only seen Christina and can speak to her work. I was in need of a new stylist and Boheme was recommended. Over a year and several appointments later, I can say I'm always happy with the cut and color Christina works her magic to create each time.

I've been going to Alison since she has been at Mix Studios and I love what she has done with my hair over the years. She takes the time to do a consult every time to see if I want to change it up with the seasons or follow the newest trend. I always end up loving my color and cut because she takes into account my busy mom lifestyle. I appreciate the organic hair color which I swear, keeps it's pigment better in my hair. Love the space, the vibe, the coffee and scalp massage with every shampoo.

Not only is Allison so incredibly kind and easy to talk to, she’s an absolutely fantastic stylist! During our consultation, she listened intently to me and perfectly described what I was envisioning and at my actual appointment, she fixed what I wasn’t happy about from a previous salon and gave me a gorgeous color that I am so ecstatic to have! She’s wonderful, the salon is beautiful, and I’m so glad to have found a stylist and salon that fits me so well!

This salon is wonderful! I live in Asheville and MC always did my hair when she lived there. When she moved to Greenville it never crossed my mind that I WOULDN'T drive to Greenville to see her. She is amazing, kind, and always has her clients best interest in mind. This salon as a whole is full of wonderful, supportive women and it always feels so friendly to walk in. I also love that they carry Oway products. Do yourself a favor and book with Boheme!

I love my time with Taylor Reed! She always does a wonderful job with my color and cut. It doesn't hurt she is super sweet too! The salon is always clean and relaxing. I look forward to my visits with Taylor at Boheme!

I went in November for chunky high lights and low lights. My hair was previously pink and had faded very light. I left the service with dark brown hair with one side two inches longer then the other. I paid 300 plus tip for this service. MC kept saying she would fix it but she rescheduled three times before she said “you should see someone else” very unprofessional. I have to spend more money to fix something she did. I didn’t get a refund or my hair fixed and I’ve been walking around with butchered hair for months (it’s late February now) steer clear of here unless you want to waste your money and destroy your hair .

Love Boheme! MC recently brought my hair back to life! I had a baby last year and did not cut/color my hair during my pregnancy so I was in desperate need of a makeover. I was not disappointed! She did a balayage and gave me layers which I normally don’t go for but I was feeling frisky. Highly recommend!!

She made me feel like a new woman. I absolutely love my cut and color. She is super talented! I have found my gal. I’m so utterly ecstatic ❤️
