Courtney started my beautiful locs over 5yrs ago. She is very talented with styles and updo s too! ALL the stylists there are super courteous and really good at what they do! Beautiful shop! love it there!

If you are looking for someone to braid you hair Gerald is your guy. I am new to Newport News and was on the search for a stylist. I met Gerald unexpectedly and I’m so thankful that I did. He’s the first male stylist to work on my hair and I will say he did a fantastic job with my knotless box braids. He’s also the first stylist that I’ve met that’s so lively and genuinely passionate about being a stylist and serving people. Please check him out if you are looking to get your hair done.

Please give these young women s chance to show you their exemplary Natural Hair skills and the best customer service of any salon in Hampton Roads. The shop is clean and prettily decorated. The staff is polite and attentive to your needs. The prices are fair and a great value for the exceptional skill. They do EVERYTHING from handmade custom wigs to children’s hair care. I’ll be going to “Tij ‘s Elegant Hands” for my braids again and again!!
