Becky is great! Specializes in Asian hairstyles and at a reasonable price! Very rare to find someone who can cut Asian hair well and she will tell you what looks good for your face shape! Highly recommend!

I have been coming here for haircuts for over a decade and Ms Becky always does an amazing job! Ive never walked out unsatisfied. She was also my go-to when I got permanent eyeliner. It lasted for around 10 years before I finally decided I needed it redone. And of course, I went back to Ms Becky!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kyle is a haircut magician! I went in for a Korean 2 block cut, and the result was even better than I imagined. The precision and attention to detail were top-notch. He also gave great styling advice. But the real magic? My wife hasn’t been able to stop staring at me since I walked in the door. Thanks, Kyle—now I have to live with all this extra attention at home 😂 Highly recommend!

Becky did a wonderful job, paying close attention to detail and really understanding what I wanted. I’ve been going to her since I moved to Tampa. The new cut and color are perfect, and the whole experience was enjoyable. I’m thrilled with the outcome and will definitely be returning.

Im half black, half japanese, and Ive been coming here since I was 13. It is by far the best place for any perm on any hair type. They work miracles on my mixed hair and will give me advice on products within my budget. 100% recommend for those with mixed hair that cant go to a traditional salon.

It’s difficult finding someone to cut Asian hair in the Tampa Bay Area. But I’ve been going to Kyle for a bit now and he does a good job every time. I usually just give him a general idea of what I want and let him do his thing. This time around I grew out my hair (naturally have straight hair) and showed him this reference photo. He permed it, trimmed it, and it came out great. Would recommend!

BE CAREFUL COMING HERE. Very frustrating and disappointing experiences. I questioned the mismatch of the quality of haircut with the price they asked. Becky and Kyle are very rude. They bullied me and intimidated me, threatening me to make me feel I was going to be harmed if I wouldn’t pay the exact number they asked in the beginning. Showing picture to Becky and Kyle about what you expected will not be helpful. My hair was treated with straightening although I expressed to Becky that I don't like it in the beginning,. A treatment of hair softening is $180 with simple hair cut. If they want to become a high profile stylist, it's not gonna work by tackling the money from customers without improvement on their techniques!

Ever since we lived in Tampa Bay (4 years now), I only come to Boom Hair, with Becky. I am happy with their service. Compare them to other salons in the area, their price is reasonable and never over priced. The recommendations they provided are helpful for me and I’m sure with so many years they’ve been around, other customers will agree. I will continue to return and continue to refer Boom Hair and Becky. Good job with what you’re doing, Boom Hair!

I’ve been coming here for a couple years now and there hasn’t been a single time where I wasn’t satisfied with my haircut. Becky is amazing and listens to everything you say. If you don’t like any part of your haircut, she will fix it to your liking. Definitely the best place to get a haircut if you have Asian hair!

This place is amazing! It has been the only place where my perm has held, as my hair is hard to manage. I have been going back here for years, and cannot say I have ever received a bad haircut or perm experience!!

I like to give it a zero if I can. I got my haircut by a man who finished the cut in only 5 mins. It was really bad. The barber left some hair on my neck and obviously there is no such a neckline. I will never come to this place again.

Becky's just got this way of making you feel right at home and totally taken care of. She's a total pro with hair, and you can just tell she's passionate about what she does. She totally understood what I was going for and absolutely nailed it!

BE CAREFUL COMING HERE. I've given this salon two tries already and both times have come out with hair that is shorter then what I expressed to them as well as a completely different hairstyle. Showing them pictures will not help at all. The cut itself was very rushed with no technique whatsoever.

Ms. Becky was so nice and did a great job! I love supporting Asian owned businesses. A little pricey for a 15 minute haircut but it looks good on me 🥰
