Every time I leave this salon, it's the best hair day I've ever had. Jackie is incredible; Nicole did an amazing job on my highlights and cut in her absence. I could not recommend this salon more - my only regret is not finding this salon sooner!

I get my hair highlighted, color and trim about every six weeks. Nicole Diulus is my stylist and I can’t say enough about how talented she is. I absolutely love what she does to my hair. She is always honest with me and will give suggestions on what to do. She’s an artist and sometimes even a magician. I always get compliments on my hair believe me. I also want to mention that the prices are so reasonable. I used to go to an upscale salon in Shadyside and their prices were outrageous; I also need to mention that my hair did not look nearly as good as it does having Nicole do my hair. I will never switch stylists; she’s stuck with me.

I had my first haircut at this salon today and thought that the staff was wonderful, but I won’t be returning. I asked for a chin-length haircut, gave details, and provided photos to be more specific about the length and style… I left with a haircut that was the shortest I’ve had in my life, nowhere NEAR my chin… the longest portion was just under my ear and I didn’t want to say anything on the spot because obviously it isn’t fixable… but I was extremely disappointed that yet again, as with most places I’ve been to, there is very little listening involved when describing and showing the cut that is desired… I even specified that I wanted it to frame my face because I felt self-conscious because I don’t have the face for shorter cuts that don’t do so… It will take me about 6 months to grow this to the length that I was hoping for, so I’m very sad about that. I hate to leave a negative review, but felt that I should warn that this is a possible outcome of visiting this establishment… no offense to the people working there. I just feel really bad about myself and how I look with this unseemly short haircut=[

I have been coming here for years. I'm posting on my husband account. Nicole and Carol are absolutely awesome! Nicole does the best shampoos in Pittsburgh! I never left there unsatisfied! I love visiting to have Girl talk and laugh! My vote is the best salon in Pittsburgh!!!

My daughter decided last minute she wanted to chop her hair for homecoming. They did their best to work with me to get her in with less than a weeks notice. Very professional and friendly staff. I’m terrible with names but her stylist was amazing! My daughter has curly hair and is biracial and they were honest when booking that some aren’t as experienced with that and got me into the right hands!

This review is long over due. I have been coming to Boulevard Salon for years, and before that, seeing my stylist, Nicole at her former salon. In fact, I lost touch with her, and after finding her again, at Boulevard, was thrilled. You see, I referred, above, to Nicole as my stylist, but actually she is an artist, a chemist and a magician. My hair always looks fabulous after Nicole does it. She has a knack for knowing just what will work, both with colors and styles that will suit my face. I have trusted her, and have never, ever been disappointed. I have reccomended Nicole, and Boulevard Salon many times, as I get a ton of compliments on my hair. Truthfully if I had a dollar for every time someone told me that they loved my hair, I'd have a little nest egg. But seriously, others in my life will tell you my hair always looks great, people comment on it all the time, and I always love it! It is ALL thanks to Nicole at Boulevard Salon. And although I do not go to the other 2 lovely women, owner Carol (who years ago did my daughter's up-do's in high school), and Jackie, they are always pleasing their customers. It is a comfortable, accomodating and pleasant salon, with 3 professional and talented stylists who will make you look your very best! My hubby loves them too!

I was in dire need of a stylist. All the places I had gone to never really gave me the style I had been wanting. My stylist was Jackie and she was a blessing. She greeted me with a smile and a positive attitude. She asked what I was looking for as in a style. I showed her a few pictures of different styles that I really liked but could not make up my mind which one I wanted. She said no problem!! She washed and conditioned my hair it was so wonderful. I had not had my hair washed by someone else in a very long time so it was very relaxing. She was very personable and she talked with me in away that made me feel welcomed. When she was finished cutting and styling my hair she asked what I thought. I was like WOW she got it just the way I wanted and she did it in away that I can style it like any of the photos I had showed her. One cut and style and I walked away able to style it any 5 different ways I feel like!! I was told if you go to a "5 and dime you walk out with a 5 and dime". Today I chose not to go back to the "5 and dime". Instead I followed the rainbow and at the end I found my stylist!!!! Thank you Jackie, I definitely will be back!!
