Exceptional hair cut, color, and care. From the initial appointment and Pinterest board she created for me, to the weighted blanket and scalp massage. She even provided hot chocolate! My hair is beautiful, and I feel completely pampered. Highly recommend, will return.

I have been seeing Michelle for well over a decade! She does an amazing job giving you a true boutique experience including optional weighted eye pillow, back massager, and aromatherapy to name a few. She’s happiest when her clients are happy, so she goes above and beyond to make that happen. When you’re in her chair, 100% of her attention is on you whether you want to chat or have some me quiet time for yourself.

Michelle is the absolute best! As a brunette who wanted to go very natural and "lived in" look, she knows exactly what to do. I also appreciate the fact she's honest about what will look best and what might last the longest. She is not a colorist who will sell you on something that requires touch-ups every 4 weeks- which is much appreciated. The 1-1 salon experience is also such a treat.

Great day with Michelle. She knows how to pamper you ! Drinks and snacks ready for you when you show up. All the other little extra things - eye cover, weighted blanket and some aromatherapy while get your hair washed. You definitely walk away feeling special!!!

I always feel SO fabulous after a visit with Michelle. Whether its a quick touch up or a full blown treatment day (for me cut, color and highlights) I leave the salon feeling refreshed and put together. The space itself is intimate with Michelle servicing only one client at a time.. (can we say personal, dedicated focus anyone!) No other conversations, blow dryers or distractions. Michelle is great with conversation and listening on the days I wanna chat and cool with the days I just want to 'check out' and sink into all the added amenities: the tea and snacks, the eye pillow, the aromatherapy mist, the head massage, to name a few. As for Michelle... she is an EXCELLENT colorist/stylist. She listens to my needs/wants to ensure I am getting what I want.. and will offer up suggestions on style or hair care.. just ask!! I look forward to my visits with Michelle because I know it will be a great experience every time!

Not only is Michelle incredibly talented and skilled, but she also has a warm, welcoming personality that makes the entire visit enjoyable. Can’t say enough nice things about Michelle and her salon! I’ve been coming here for a while now, and honestly it feels like forever in the best way possible. Michelle is FANTASTIC, easily the best hair dresser I’ve ever had. I have naturally curly hair and it’s hard to find someone who really knows what they’re doing, but I’m always in good hands here. Michelle is also super knowledgeable about color, and keeps up with industry trends, so you’ll always receive the best advice when looking for something fresh or even just updates to your current style. Plus, she has the best little perks, offering complementary services like weighted blankets and pillows, aromatherapy, snacks, drinks etc to make your visit as comfortable as possible. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Michelle is simply the best, I cannot recommend her enough! I am so so so happy to have found her. Not only is she one of the nicest humans that I have ever met, but she does a wonderful job and I always leave feeling so happy with the results (and that feeling actually lasts through to my next visit). Before Michelle, all too often I would like my hair in the chair and the next morning completely realize it was not what I wanted at all. Michelle is very skilled and knows what she is doing. She is a professional--and that is very apparent from the first emails and her process with new clients. Also, she has really perfected the salon visit experience. One of my biggest frustrations with previous salons was the lack of transparency. I would go in for my appointment and at the end, I would be charged over $400 for services and treatments that I didn't ask for or that we never really talked through. Michelle sends you a survey via your phone prior to your visit where you can select if you would like complimentary snacks, complimentary add-ons like a scalp massage or heated blanket, and also additional add-on treatments (and their price so there are no surprises!). Again, can't recommend her enough, she is the best!

I could not recommend this Salon enough! Michelle has transformed my hair and made me so much more confident. She specializes in hair extensions for fullness and it is a game changer. For someone who struggles with fine thin hair, the Bourbon salon experience is more than phenomenal. Not to mention she always welcomes you with beverages, snacks, and a spa experience if your choosing. LOVE THIS SALON!

Having course, wavy hair, it is difficult to find someone who can style it well, but Michelle always does a great job! Michelle rocks! I was really nervous about finding someone new to cut my hair, especially since my hair is fine and I have had problems with breakage in the past. I had checked out her website, facebook, and instagram and I really liked what I saw so I made an appointment. All I will say is that I hope she never retires because I have never been happier with a haircut or color in my life. She consults with you about what you want before each visit and really listens to what you say. She always has great recommendations when I have questions about products or style. Michelle is the only stylist I'll trust with my curls! She's kind, a great listener, and her head massages will erase all the stress of the week! She always starts with a dry cut to make sure the shape of my hair cut will look great when I leave AND as my curls grow out. The products she uses smell amazing and really do what they're supposed to (goodbye fly-aways!). Also, even though I haven't used her coloring services, I know it's her forte. She did my sister's highlights, and they're the best she's ever gotten. Lastly, Michelle can talk to you about literally anything; she's a great armchair therapist, which is what we're ALL looking for a brilliant stylist... ;-)

My hair looks so good! Michelle was so great and nice. My hair has never looked so good. Hands down best place to go to get your hair colored and cut. Every person I have seen has complimented my hair. "Your hair looked really good. Not going to lie it stunned me at first." Michelle also makes it a great 4 hours. Most of the time it is a long boring process but she made it a great experience. I will only trust Michelle to dye my hair and I am an extremely picky person. Thank you so so much for making my hair beautiful again. 150% recommend everyone to come here you will not be disappointed. I am for sure coming back.

I moved from Miami to Denver and it took me about 4 hair salons to finally meet the perfect hairdresser. The fabulous Michelle. She is really good at what she does. Gets the color right, hi lights always on point and haircuts perfect. To top it off her scalp massage , and aroma therapy treatment which is included in the price is just what you need at a hair salon. Also my favorite part is that she works alone and 1 client at at time so it's quiet and not loud and busy.. I highly recommend her. I'm so happy I found her. ☺

Michelle is the bomb!! Absolutely loved having her work her magic on my hair - which needed a major overhaul - too long, no shape, blah color. I walked out of her salon feeling like a supermodel :) I love the layers and the lowlights she gave me which compliment my face shape to a T. I haven't had my hair professionally done in years! My friend referred me to Bourbon Hair and I had a wonderful appointment with Joanna. During these times, they are very safe with taking your temperature and sanitizing your hands before having you enter the salon. She listened to what I was looking for in a new look and also offered her expertise. Best hair experience ever and I was so happy with my new look! I felt so fresh and revived! I'll definitely be visiting again! Joanna is so friendly and knowledgeable!

I love Michelle and her little salon. She is a hair genius! I have had low maintenance highlights a couple times and they always grow out nicely. She does a great job cutting my fine wavy hair. I think her prices are very fair too. I recently had my first haircut since the COVID restrictions were lifted. I felt very safe and that the safety recommendations were being taken seriously. Michelle wore a mask and gloves. She had masks for customers to wear if they did not have one. She sprayed surfaces with disinfectant often, and also had a UV sanitizer that she offered to clean my phone and keys in! I was very reassured by the precautions being followed.

Michelle is a true genius. I was introduced to her as she does keratin treatments and makes me crazy thick hair luscious and manageable. I’ve known her for 6 years and I can’t say enough wonderful thinks. She’s a color wiz on my very dark hair and I have a beautiful balayage that is lovely but fits my maintenance abilities. She’s also one of the only stylists I’ve ever met who can cut my thick wavy hair. She’s the absolute best and I cannot recommend her enough. If you have hair she’ll make it look awesome!!
