I made the mistake of dying my own hair at home and ruined it, immediately found Josh and he fixed it right up! Could not be more happy with the results and the experience, very professional while also making you comfortable and happy. Already have my second appointment scheduled!

The blonde guru! Joshua has been the only professional touch my hair for the last ten years. When I first moved to Dallas, finding a artist who could actually ‘do a good blonde’ - (multi-dimension/looks natural/not brassy) was difficult. With other stylists a week or so after having my roots done my hair would start leaning a little brassy, but since I found bourne blonde- i get compliments on my color, weeks after leaving the salon. Joshua’s prices are reasonable, he’s super accommodating with his appointment times and most importantly- he’s a blonde expert!

Josh is really good at color. He knows how to get the perfect tone of blonde. And always conditions and protects my hair. Uses the best products. He is both casual and professional. Always makes me feel comfortable.

Joshua is a talented hairstylist and colorist. I have enough hair on my head for 19 people LOL and he takes his time to ensure my cut is WOW and easy to manage. Color is always on point but with this much hair, cut is everything!!! ♥️♥️♥️

Joshua knows what he's doing!! I've had so many other colorists tell me they can't get my hair blonde or it'll take months and months. Joshua is a true scientist and magician. He was able to color correct my hair into exactly what I wanted when I've had so many other people tell me it wasn't possible. If you need a blonde specialist who actually knows the science and how to work miracles - this is your guy!! Plus, we had so much fun talking, laughing, and buying stocks together! I truly loved every minute and ended up with gorgeous hair! Double win!! Wish I could give more stars!

He was very nice upon booking my appointment. He rescheduled mine from 11am to 10am because he had someone after me. Not a problem. He said pull into my driveway and text me when you’re here and I will come out and close the gate. I arrived 10 minutes early and the gate was half way open. Sooo let me get this straight....you know you have a client at 10 but you don’t have the gate you say to go through open? I texted him and said that I couldn’t get through because the gate wasn’t open but I’m across the street from your house. 30 minutes pass and no response. It’s noon now and stil haven’t heard anything. Super unprofessional and rude. You may have good reviews about your work but your human decency sucks.

My appointment was set for 11am today. It is now 11:30 and I have not heard from Joshua. I showed up, rang the doorbell, call, texted and nothing. I took a vacation day from work to get my hair done so this is VERY disappointing. I feel very disrespected and would like to make sure that nobody else has the same experience that I did. Very sad.

About a week ago, I visited Josh at Bourne Blonde. I was looking for a new colorist after a "conflict of interest" with my old one. I wanted to be platinum blonde, no matter what it took. I knew the upkeep and cost required for such a high-maintenance color, and I'm totally up for it. Unfortunately, my old colorist just didn't think she could do it without damaging my hair. So she suggested doing an ombre to lessen the damage on my hair. A boring, unremarkable, ombre. Ew. After (much to my horror) putting more and more lowlights into my hair with each appointment, I cracked. So I looked for THE BEST blonde colorist in the city, and that's when I found Josh. Josh knew exactly what I wanted, exactly what would look good on me, and how we were going to achieve it. I was amazed as he spilled out facts about doing blonde hair that I had never heard before. He never left my side once, and was hilarious and chatty the entire time. I immediately smitten. After just one appointment, my hair was such a beautiful blonde color. Josh said that it is only going to get better from here, and he is going to help me get to that platinum I want as quickly as I can, while still maintaining the integrity of my hair the best he can. I fully trust him with my color, and I do not take that lightly. If you have blonde hair, and truly want to make it the best you possibly can, GO TO JOSH. I swear I will never go some place else. Thank you Josh!!!

Joshua Jones is the best there is in Dallas. While his clients love him for his expertise with blonde color, he does it all. He starts with a thorough consult each and every time, never rushes, and consistently over delivers on results. He's well-established in the business with a fascinating career that includes quite a few celebrity stylings. Highly recommend!
