They were able to get me in that day! I very stupidly decided to do my own hair at home and Kimberly A was able to fix what I had done and do exactly what I was aiming to do in the first place. Everyone was very nice and helpful as well!! Highly recommend this place and Kimberly A!

I love coming to Bowie Salon & my hair does too! There is a feeling of calmness & serenity from the moment one walks in; & it’s almost as if I’m the only client there….even though each chair is occupied. Danielle is an absolute artist, & a day doesn’t go by in which I’m not complimented on my hair….cut AND color.

I moved to Seattle 18 months ago, after 50+ years in Boston. I was anxious about how I would find a skilled and trustworthy salon in my new city. I tried several until a friend recommended - wait for it - Bowie Salon & Spa, absolutely no relation to me even though we share the name. My first (and all subsequent ones) haircut was with Danielle. I never book an appointment right after a cut. I want to wait and see how it behaves, how it grows out, etc. I swear, and I am being totally honest, that was the best haircut I had ever had. I have returned to Bowie Salon ever since. The salon is immaculate, peaceful, professional and WARM. I have found my new hair home. Just a fun anecdote - I was walking through the airport the other day when a woman tapped me on the shoulder and said, " I LOVE your hair !". Thank you Danielle. Thank you Bowie Salon.

I never write negative reviews, I truly hate doing it, but even though they were friendly enough and the trim looks nice, the business practices are quite deceptive. Price ranges are huge and once you select a stylist online the actual price is only listed several clicks through at the end of the selection options and is written in small white text on a low-contrast background. I went in because it was listed on a Google as an affordable salon (with a base price listed at $49) and I ended up spending $185 for a trim. They also initially charged me twice (both a full — not 80% — deposit) and then again at the salon. The max price listed on the website is $185 but I was charged $197 + tip which I requested back, leaving my final fee slightly lower than I originally thought, but far too expensive for a simple trim when I thought starting would be $49.

This review is long overdue. I’ve been seeing Stacie for years and have never loved my hair more! Sracie has helped me manage my grays while keeping my natural dark brown. They’ve called me to ask if it’s okay to cancel appointments I’ve made that they thought were premature and I trust them wholeheartedly. Stacie cuts my husband’s hair too and truly it’s never looked better. My daughter sees Shoka for cuts and color and loves her! My son sees Suki for cuts and loves her! Honestly I can’t say enough great things about Bowie Salon. Just love them!!

I'm a college student so I can't afford to come here on a regular basis. But I'll spend every last dime to see Shoka-- she is so insanely talented and friendly! I can't imagine switching salons because no one does my hair as good as she does!!

Suki saved my hair by fixing a brassy mess of bleach from another salon. She gave a healthy and beautiful outcome. She was unbelievably knowledgeable and so fun to talk to. Absolutely going back!!

As much as the lady who cut my hair was kind and informative, she did not meet my expectations at all. I showed a picture, talked about what kind of cut I wanted. She said I don’t have as much hair as the person in the picture but she would resemble it closely. Coming home, after washing my hair, it was so flat and had no layers which is what I wanted. All she did was decrease my hair length and I got rid of a good chunk without even getting anything out of it. To pay so much money for almost nothing is quiet disappointing

Shoka is amazing! She was very attentive to my hair concerns and was able to maintain length while giving me a fresh and healthier look. I had severe split ends. She also gave me tips afterwards. I highly recommend her. The receptionist was super polite and friendly. Overall I had a lovely experience and I’ll be coming back.

This was my first experience at the salon. Sukie was my stylist, who did a Keratin treatment on my hair and trim. My hair turned out absolutely beautiful. I got exactly what I asked for and more. Sukie was such a pleasure. I also received a Diamond facial which was golden. I highly recommend both of these services and ladies. Overall, everyone was so welcoming. I look forward to going back. I found my new home for my hair. 😊

After spending $600 with a salon that did not listen I found Stella at Bowie- she listened to me I showed her the picture and she did exactly what I wanted I am very happy with the results!!! She showed me exactly what we will do in the future and how much it will cost.

I'm new to Seattle and was looking for a great place to get my eyebrows waxed/shaped. I arrived to the salon with 2 very different eyebrows (casualty of my old salon) and was nervous they would never get back into shape. Veronika has done an INCREDIBLE job over my last 2 visits getting them perfect again. She immediately recognized my hair grows in 2 very different patterns and has managed to take these disaster hairs into master hairs. I cannot thank her enough for the amazing brows/confidence boost and will be booking with her as long as I'm in the Seattle area!

I've been going to Bowie salon for a few years now for brow waxing. Last time I went, the aesthetician had me sit upright for the waxing. She got soap in my eyes when pre cleaning the brows because I was sitting upright and not laying down. She then proceed to ask why I was teary eyed and showed zero concerns about getting soap in eyes. I know this sounds silly, but I am paying for this and I think it's not to much to ask for a better experience.

Shoka did my hair and makeup for my wedding. Since we weren't doing a wedding party, I was happy to find a place where I could get everything done in one place. I did not do a trial, and was very happy with how everything turned out on the day. She was able to take my inspiration pictures and turn them into my dream hairstyle. The makeup she did was subtle and natural, but dramatic enough for pictures. The entire process took about two hours.
