Have once had my son’s haircut by Sam, who suggested that future appointments be scheduled as “slightly uncomfortable” since my child did “so well” (truly loves a fresh trim!” Today, we have an appointment scheduled for 245, and get a text that our appointment is rescheudled for 3. Fine. We arrive, through the window can see a child in her booth finishing a cut; so take our time coming in only for her to tell us that my child needs a “moderately” uncomfortable hair cut appointment before she even sees him sit in the chair. Meanwhile, starts cutting the other child’s fathers hair, despite “appointment only” sign on the door. Then, another client and her son walks in, so I’m told my appointment is cancelled and I can come back at 6 because she doesn’t mind staying later. I find it extremely rude and a waste of mine and my child’s time. If she’s booked herself to the extreme, fine, but save my time and cancel my appointment all day together before I spend my time driving to you and expecting a service that you already decided wasn’t happening !

I brought my 19month son for his first haircut about 2yrs ago . It was an amazing experience! He is now 3 1/2 and still enjoys going! Alicia is amazing and very patient and knows how to get on the kiddos level to make them feel comfortable. The different barber chair vehicles they have are genius! We will definitely recommend this place to all our family and friends. We will see you again in a few months.

Samantha was amazing! My little girl was so nervous and she was so welcoming. We loved the toys to play with and the cars to sit in were awesome. The braid and glitter at the end of the appointment with a bow were so cute! Such a great first haircut experience!

Samantha works phenomenally with my son whom has Down Syndrome & sensory needs. We booked a “Movers & Groovers” cut & it met his needs completely. She far exceeded our realistic expectations! Her patience & kindness is unmatched. I will gladly drive over an hour for her services & the way she loves her clients.

UPDATE: We've been going to Alicia for about a year now. She still does a wonderful job. Their new location is so much better than their old one. Our son greatly enjoyed getting his haircut with Alicia. I added updated photos too. The only downfall is that our last two haircut appointments have started about 15/20 minutes late due to no fault of Alicia but it's the hazard of cutting kids' hair. So just keep that in mind. Alicia did such a wonderful job with our son's very first haircut. She made sure that he was comfortable and walked us through everything that she was going to do for his haircut. Definitely recommend!

I have a 2 year old boy and 5 a year old girl. My son has had his hair cut 3 times now, including his first cut. My daughter just had her first cut done this year. Samantha is our go-to! I will forever recommend this place. They did just move to a different location and I think it's just the space they needed! These ladies have great personalities and the patience, lord the PATIENCE they have in order to do this job. Have you ever attempted to cut a toddler's hair? It's impossible, but Samantha does it so easily!!! I've never had an issue with scheduling a cut, waiting our turn, or explaining how I wanted their hair cut. With my son, I usually just let Samantha do her thing lol. If your child needs a hair cut, here is the place to go! Hands down.

We LOVE Brave Little Clippers! My toddler has been getting his hair cut every month since he was 9 months old (currently 18 months!) Samantha and Alicia take such great care of him whenever we bring him in. Incredibility accommodating to the various toddler moods and always trying to make him feel good when he isn’t in the best mood. I am so thankful we have them in town. They show such patience and understanding with all the kiddos! 10/10 recommend!

Terrible customer service! I don’t recommend bringing your autistic children here because God forbid they act out. It doesn’t matter how big the tip is you’ll still get poor customer service and bowl cuts! 5 minutes late to an appointment and in turn you get banned! i would give 0 stars if i could!!

We showed up on a Sunday and waltzed in, unbeknownst to us that they’re by appt only. We apologized for the inconvenience and Alicia said she could squeeze us in after her first appointment. She was prompt, friendly, and very patient with my son as it was his first haircut and he was scared. He wanted to hang on me but that didn’t stop her from doing his hair. She did really good and I’m impressed. Edit: it’s now been 10 months since we started coming here and we’ve seen Alicia every single month for my child’s haircuts. He is absolutely comfortable with her and he sits so well on his own and he no longer needs to hang onto a parent to get through his haircuts. I absolutely love Alicia and will continue coming to see her for my child’s haircuts.

They were absolutely incredible! My 3 year old sat through her first haircut with no issues! She even got hair tinsel and her nails done! The ladies here made her so comfortable. We will definitely be back.

Took my son here for his very first haircut he’s only a year and a half and Samantha was amazing with him!!! She was so attentive and playful with him and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!!! You guys are amazing!!!

Disappointed we drove 40 mins from where we are staying to get our daughter her 1st hair cut. No where does it say by apt only. Also when we showed up they said they were closing early. This was recommended from a mom group maybe next time we will try again.

I messed up and took my little boy to great clips in halls who had scraped my baby and scared him to death of haircuts. The cut was HORRIBLE and not blended at all. Thankful for Samantha who was patient, loving and fun! Will never go anywhere else. He left so happy and didn’t want to leave.

I cannot say enough good things about Brave Little Clippers. My 4 year old autistic son absolutely hates haircuts and all the other places we’ve tried ended horribly. Samantha at Brave Little Clippers was absolutely amazing, she took her time and let my son lead. She also explained everything she was doing while she was doing it. My son ended with the cutest haircut and was proud to show it off. This will be our place for years to come!

We received our first hair cut here yesterday based on the reviews and let me tell you that they didn’t disappoint. The minute we stepped inside, we felt welcomed and at home. We had arrived super early to our appointment, and I was dreading it but to my surprise they had a play section for my son to entertain himself while we waited. Our stylist was excellent. She was patient and addressed all my insecurities, as my son has had bad experiences at other places. We got through the haircut with no tears! My respects to these ladies. We will most definitely be returning.

We have an autistic 3 year old and we struggled getting him in his car seat this morning. We were 5 minutes late and showed up to the doors locked and no one there. When we called, they said they have a “5 minute policy” and your appointment is automatically cancelled after 5 minutes. We have been coming here for years, always on time, and have waited well over 10-15 minutes sometimes for the appointment to even begin! Our last appointment, we were rescheduled for an hour later the morning of because the owner had to go to a doctors appointment (which was fine, we made it work). Don’t expect your customers to be flexible with you when you can’t be flexible with us over 5 minutes.
