Brittney is a wonderful hair stylist, and I’m so happy to have found her. I’m biracial and finding the right person to do my hair can be tricky. She listened to what I wanted and did not disappoint! First time in 5 years that I’ve walked out of a hair salon happy. And she is just genuinely a great person as well. So happy to have found her. Highly recommend!

Brittney is a consummate professional! She is a master colorist and stylist. She has taken care of my hair through pregnancy and post pregnancy hair loss. From long and dark brown to short and blonde. She knows how to care for hair. She’s amazing!

Brittney is a very talented hair professional. What I appreciate most is that everything she does is focused on the health of the hair. She understands how to work with natural hair, whether in natural styles or whether in straightened styles and she helped me understand how to protect my daughter's hair when using heat and when swimming. I have been getting my hair done by Brittney for about a year now and I have always left happy with how my hair looks and feels. She really cares about the health of your hair and takes time to educate you on how to keep your hair in the best shape until your next appointment. She’s also very professional but at the same time super nice and easy to talk to. I highly recommend making an appointment with Brittney if you are looking to have your hair done right!

I have had horrible experiences with different hair stylists but I have to admit I have been one hundred and ten percent satisfied with the services Brittney has provided to me. I am a naturalista and she has done my hair curly and straight. I am very well pleased with her meticulous attention to detail in making my hair healthy and look good at the same time.

I went to see Brittney after I had gotten fed up with the state of my hair. Booking was super easy and she was on time which was nice! She did an amazing job and was able to answer all of my questions. I'm loving my new style and so happy that I found a new stylist.

I've been going to Brittney for a number of years. When you find a fit, you stick with it. She makes me feel good when my hair done and my hair look great! One thing I appreciate most is that she will not go with your request simply because you requested it, she'll offer an explanation as to why what you're asking may not be ideal for your hair type, etc. But at the end of the day, she'll get you to what you will be pleased with. She educates on hair care and can do all (if not most) hair types. Make an appointment and check her out if you're in the area.

Long post alert lol - After an exhaustive search for a quality hair care stylist in the Frederick area, I can't say enough how happy I am to have found Brittney! I've been struggling with hair loss challenges recently and after determining there was no medical cause related to health, I was desperate to find a stylist that focuses just as much on hair care as styling. Based on others recommendations and reviews, I took a chance that Brittney would be able to help me and I'm so glad I did. From our very first phone conversation and throughout my appointment, Brittney was very personable and welcoming. She not only asked many questions about my hair history, she was also very thorough in explaining what is causing my hair loss and what courses of action that are available to me. I literally left my appointment feeling like a new person and am excited for this new chapter in my hair journey to begin. I've already told another friend just how wonderful my experience was as she's looking for a stylist as well and I am looking forward to my next appointment!

Brittney was wonderful! I do not get my hair cut often so am happy to have found her through a personal recommendation. The salon space is great and frankly the only way I would feel comfortable getting my hair cut during covid.

I have been going to Brittney for 15 years and she is the ONLY person I will let cut or color my hair. She has helped me transition from relaxed to natural and helps me maintain my hair regularly. She takes the time to listen to what you want and helps you achieve your hair goals. Hands down the best stylist in the DMV!

I have been getting my hair done at Brittney Shearz since it’s opening and always been satisfied with the way my hair turns out. My hairline was thinning out and now I feel comfortable pulling my hair in a ponytail and not worry about the spaces on either side of my forehead. My hair is growing healthy. My husband does not like me cutting my hair. He does not like short hair. Whenever I get it cut at Brittney’s it grows back in less than no time. Now, he’s not worried for he knows it will grow back. Thanks Brittney for making me smile where my hair is concerned. I know she can bring a smile to your face as well. She’s that good when it comes to hair. She’s professional, efficient and always gives advise on keeping my hair healthy. I step out of her salon with that confident look every time.

Brittney is legit the best stylist that I have ever had. I have been going to her for probably 10 or so years now. She is so knowledgeable, nice, funny, so easy to get along with AND gives you great advice on how to have the healthiest hair possible. Anytime I've made a big change to my hairstyle, I've always told her 'do whatever you want to do' and it has never steered me wrong. I get compliments on my hair everywhere I go - and she's the reason why. She's pure bliss. I would travel hours for Brittney and she is the only person I trust to touch my head. Literally the best at what she does & will never go to anyone else, not even if I moved out of state - will literally make the trip just for Brittney. SHE'S AMAZING

This salon is a fantastic place to go if you want to get your hair done just right! Once you step inside you feel very comfortable. My family members and I have been going to her for years and it is always a great experience. The salon is always clean, welcoming, cute, cozy, and inviting.
