I'm a Board Certified Master Hair Colorist and haircutting expert with over 20 years of professional experience, creating and designing intuitive hair, complimenting each client's individual face shape, skin/eye color and personality. I specialize in customized haircuts and color applications that are low maintenance and easy to style. Life is short and and many of us don’t want to waste additional time fussing over our hair. My passion for the future of our planet is unshakable. All of the products I use and sell are non toxic, sustainable and Ethically sourced. I had been seeing Brooke Ellington as my hair stylist for a while (huge mistake)! I completely regret it now! We had a conversation (last appt - thank God!) on what to do with my hair. After pushing my appt back an hour because she was attending a tattoo convention with a friend, once she arrived (even later), she stated she only had time to do a possible color rinse (never had that before) and cut. Once I stated I didn't understand as she pushed the appt back, she became offended and asked me to leave without doing my hair. This was entirely rude and disrespectful of her, especially after she pushed the appt back by an hour and was then another 15 minutes late. Only at the appt did she state she didn't have time to do my hair the way she did it every other appt (every single other appt were highlights and cut). Wait, what?! She could have told me on the phone so I didn't waste 3 hours driving to and from. Then she accused me of wanting more time at a discount, which I never asked for and never brought up money, only the fact she said she didn't have time now to do my hair. I think she meant to do this! Another thing is she stated I only booked the appt for 2 hours. I didn't book the appt. She did, at our last appt. If she thought it would take longer, she should have said so and booked me appropriately, knowing full well what was intended! She then said, "I was kind to you." No, you weren't! You completely disrespected me on every level at this last appt, making things incredibly uncomfortable, awkward and just bad! I never should have stayed with her as I was unhappy with several past cuts and highlights (once leaving bizarre cut lines that made highlights look like rings around my head, which I had to ask her to fix. She was actually going to leave it that way - seriously?). Lesson learned - You shouldn't always give people second chances! She asked if I trusted her - honestly, NO! 6+ hours for the first appt is WAY too long (and very expensive), especially if you call yourself a master stylist!!!! I do NOT recommend having her do your hair. She is NOT a master hair stylist or a professional!

This is my third visit to Brooke, and I am so happy with her! When I first visited Brooke, I had red hot roots from a botched dye job by a different stylist, and she went above and beyond to correct my hair and make sure I was happy along the way. She has incredible attention to detail and a lot of pride and love goes into the work she does. I often inadvertently go over our allotted time, and she has never rushed the hair cut or compromised the quality. Thank you, Brooke!

This was my first haircut with Brooke and she gave me the best cut I've EVER had! I LOVE her energy, she LISTENED to what I wanted (and the bad luck I've had with some cuts in the past), & I was blown away by her Artistry and her meticulous attention to detail. . Let me tell you WHY this is the BEST CUT I have ever had: The technique that Brooke used to cut my hair gave me the result I have ALWAYS wanted, but have never gotten with another stylist for my shorter styles. The technique she used is unlike any I've ever experienced & it gave my hair texture, volume & thickness, yet it feels super flowy & light. . My hair is fine, but I have a lot of it, so I like to have volume & texture. It also has natural waves in it, so with my past cuts, my hair is always cut too thin on the bottom, so it doesn't lay right & I am never in love with it.... And either end up recutting it myself, wearing it in a ponytail or bun or a hat.... . Y'all - give yourself some love & book an appointment with Brooke!! *Stay tuned for my color review!!*
