Went to see Max for a much needed hair cut. He was able to get me in within the week, talked to me frankly about what he could do for my hair type, and infodumped all the hair knowledge which I really enjoyed. I really appreciated his thorough consult. As a queer person finding an affirming hair space is super important to me and Max made sure i felt welcomed and safe in his chair. Will be going again. Thanks Max!

Haircut was okay being that I came from Long Island I was told to go to him for the best cut on town Had to leave a deposit, listen to how Great he was, how his products were magical and ...never returned

If I can't get in to see Max, I just don't get my hair cut. He's honest, fair and forthright with information about every aspect of hair care, allowing me to make decisions that are right for me and my lifestyle.

Max has been cutting my hair for a few years now and I don't think I could ever go anywhere. Very affordable for the level of service you get. Don't get your hair cut anywhere else in Oneonta.

I've been going to Max for years. He has given me some of the best haircuts I've had. As a person with wavy/curly hair it is hard to find someone who knows how to cut it. I have implicit trust in Max's style and consult.

I went to Max for years before moving out of state and have always been happy with the results. Recently I decided to get my hair done during a visit home. He stayed late for me and was great company. It was my first time going platinum and there was still brown dye in my hair. You would never know he had to bleach it twice - I've got a beautiful blonde that falls naturally and I've gotten so many compliments. If you like a little sass and a lot of talent, Brooklyn Boy is the best!
