Michelle was so kind when we stopped in, explaining about the store and that all products are made in house with organic ingredients. She sent us home with samples including one we can use on our baby too. They also have cute gifts for all ages, gemstones and some organic pantry and refrigerator items like eggs, milks, produce.

Working with Emma has been absolutely fantastic! I did lots of research to find an esthetician who was truly holistic in their approach with regards to treatment and products used, and Emma did not disappoint. With some new information she provided about what my skin needed I’ve seen a dramatic transformation in my skin’s overall health in just a few visits. I look forward to going back every few months to see what else I can add in to further optimize my skin’s health as I progress through the healing journey. She has been so wonderful to work with that I don’t even hesitate to make the ~2 hour trip for my facial every few months!

I have been using the products for over a year now and my skin is calm and healthy. My skin routine has simplified and as someone with highly sensitive skin and a history of severe eczema, these products are a lifesaver. They are made with care and have the highest quality ingredients- they smell divine but do not over do it with the essential oils. The entire store has a quiet integrity - just sitting there waiting to be discovered for its top tier quality and deep understanding of the skin as a reflection of the whole body. Now, I must address the sound healing. I had a very impromptu session with the owner who is a kind and a brilliant healer. This session placed me into a deep parasympathetic state with moments of true magic. This store is the real deal and transcends any momentary beauty trend. I feel blessed to have access to such a beautiful place.

I was gifted a facial here and booked one with Sam. It was a lovely experience. The ambience, the products, which are made right on site, and the beautiful shop made the experience such a treat. Sam asked lots of questions about my skin and my self care in general to best tailor my experience and it was just what I was hoping for. I came out relaxed and refreshed and with some suggestions for what to try at home. What a gift to have a place like this right in our back yard! I'm looking forward to coming back!

I have been a client of Brooklyn Herborium's since 2012, back before they opened either of their locations and Emma was still seeing clients out of her home. The quality of both the products and the services and appointments are superb. My skin improved drastically when I began using their skincare line and seeing their estheticians, and it has only continued to flourish over the last twelve years. I've seen not only Emma but a number of her team; without fail, every single one is knowledgeable, professional, and tremendously good at their job. I will not use any other products. I will not get a facial anywhere else. They are worth and deserve every penny and will save you money in the long run!

I love everything about Brooklyn Herborium. I had a fantastic facial at the Columbia Waterfront location 2 years ago, and had another amazing facial with Sam in Windsor Terrace the other week. Sam did a great job with cleaning my face and applying soothing skincare regimens. I felt like I was really able to relax for the full time and was glowing when I came out! I’d highly recommend a facial with Sam. I also love how Brooklyn Herborium makes all their products in-house. I’ve been buying my skincare products from them ever since my first facial 2 years ago!

Beautiful space with beautiful creations. I love the concept and idea behind the line. The items are done beautifully, and you can tell there is intention. This is the second time I've done my facial here and I love it. I fall asleep by the 1st hour and wake up forgetting I was there that's how comfortable I am. I loved the facial energy session! Emma is a true skin guru. She had a deep understanding of skin from a holistic prospective. I've been using the products for years and my skin has never looked better. A facial with Emma, in the beautiful space, surrounded by the carefully curated goods is a pleasure for the senses. I can't wait to go back!

Emma is wonderful! I couldn’t feel better taken care of holistically than with her and all the staff. I use there products for 2 years have had integrative facials with Emma and couldn’t be happier. I got a facial by Emma a couple of months ago and really enjoyed it so I got my second one just the other week. The facials are great and I'm hoping to come back regularly moving forward. It really feels like a special time to relax, get beautiful skin and learn a thing or two about how to continue taking care of it.

I have been going to this place for facial for few years now and my skin does absolutely amazing. Both locations have great aesthetician and does a fantastic job. My skin used to have a lot of issues and I get facial here 2-3 times a year and also use their face product. I have not had a single zit and blemish on my skin since I started here.... Highly recommend it!!

I first went to Brooklyn Herborium in February 2021. I was looking for a new place to get facials because my facialist in California was moving away. I stumbled upon the shop in my neighborhood and had no idea it would change my life. I had a facial/consultation with Emma, and ended up scrapping my (many!) expensive skin products, products I'd changed and struggled with over the last 15 years of my life (I'm 31) in exchange for the homemade, truly miracle products that they make at BH. What's so amazing about getting a facial at BH is not just the incredible, soothing, skin-changing experience (there are crystals and mist and all of it!), but the fact that they go through your whole schedule, eating habits, sleeping habits, anxiety, products, etc to give you a plan that takes into account your body as a whole, and the way that affects your skin. It's the healthcare and attention I've always longed for and has absolutely changed my life. After ditching my products and committing fully to Emma's plan for my skin, I have completely transformed. And I feel so much less tethered to products. I'm actually listening to my skin and body and adjusting as necessary. I only wash my face with water now (I was an obsessive face-washer with chemicals, etc) except for using their masks 1-2 times a week, and don't moisturize at night. In the morning, I moisturize with the oil-mist combo. (But they will craft a plan that's great for you). About 8 months later, my skin had become fully "healthy" so now we've graduated into helping heal old problems. They even make tea that helps with hormonal regulation and for breakouts all around your face. I truly could not recommend Brooklyn Herborium more. They have products not just for your face but for all elements of your life and every single one is lovely. Every person in there is helpful and kind. I go back for facials 2-3 times a year and every time it has a lasting effect. If you want to change your life and be less beholden to products, etc, or if you just want a soothing, holistic experience, book your appointment as soon as possible!

I love it here! Emma has changed my skin (and, consequently, my life as her approach is holistic, which I love). I cherish the facials with her as I learn so much and feel so wonderful at the end. The store is also so beautiful and happy, it makes me want to take care of myself and buy pretty much everything, plus everyone who works there is so nice. I love that they make their products there and are so thoughtful with them and the ingredients that they use. I've been a client now for almost seven years and can't wait for the next seven (I even sneak in appointments when I'm in NYC now that I've moved to Miami).

The absolute best place for skin care products and services in all of NYC! I have sworn by the Between You and the Moon product line for years in keeping my skin balanced and healthy, and regular facials with Emma are not only great for refreshing my skin but also for refreshing my spirit with crystals and energy work. I also love supporting this small business run by two amazing mothers.

Discovered this gem walking with my friend...it's the cutest shop I've seen in Brooklyn. Everyone inside is so friendly and helpful. Bought a "Palo santo" to burn in my room and I love it!

Amazing shop and staff is sooo kind! They've been helpful with all my skin care and herb questions. I stop by every time I'm in Windsor Terrace. Products are super quality and thoughtfully put together. Huge fan of the inner strength tea.

Great staff, very cute and organized store! Products are all chemicals free and labeled manually. I use the products and I love it. I had a facial by Emma, it was amazing I left the spa feeling extremely pampered and relaxed. I definitely recommend it!

I loved the original location, and wasn't sure what to expect with the new location. Good news: same people, same products, and even more shopping! I appreciated the thoughtful selection of tasty locally-sourced packaged food, in particular. Great for impulse-purchases.

I wish I had taken pre and post pictures because my skin looks and feels drastically better now than ever before. Prior to a year ago, I suffered from skin sensitivities, pimples if I touched my face, redness if I washed my face with a gentle cleanser, stress bumps and everlasting scars from skin irritations ages ago, even melasma. I went into Herborium not necessarily looking for a solution but to check it out bc it’s new in the neighborhood. The owner and staff blew my mind when they started talking about their approach to skin care. I decided to try it and it was well worth the money, the effort, the time and the whole kitchen sink. My skin is no longer irritated by slight environmental insults and looks amazing! My skin is soft, smooth and resilient while also retaining a balance I never knew possible. I love this place so much that I brought my tween over to get her first facial cleanser so that she grows up knowing what I didn’t know. She just said her skin is glowing!

My skin is still SO happy from a facial I got at the Brooklyn Herborium the other week - that, along with the products and education I purchased for a fair price. The staff at this shop have strong knowledge of how to treat skin in a healthy holistic manner. I’m highly recommending it to all readers of this review...and I can’t wait for my next appointment:)
