I have been using their products for years now and absolutely love them! They make the most devine, holistic, functional skin care that also smells amazing. Molly and Emma are such knowledgeable, helpful, empathetic, kind, and beautiful souls whom have helped guide me in my skin care journey over the years. Recently I had a very random, out of nowhere, bought of cystic acne and was hitting dead ends with doctors. I reached out to them for a consult and they immediately knew what the main culprit was, helped guide me on what steps to take next, and in following their instruction, it cleared up in no time. I am incredibly grateful for them and can not thank them enough! You two are truly wonderful! 🤍

Brooklyn Herborium is just pure magic, a beautiful community space that will crack open your whole being just the way you need to be opened! My partner and I have done a seasonal apprenticeship and as well gotten facials and we can not recommend enough Molly and Emma and every single soul that makes this space possible. M and E are two incredible women we are blessed to have met. Infinitely thankful!

I had such a lovely experience here. Everything is clean and relaxing. My specialist was just lovely. My facial was relaxing. She gave good advice based on the state of my skin. Can’t recommend enough, especially for us natural and organic types.

I had a level 1 facial with Jen a few weeks ago and it was absolutely fabulous. From the moment I arrived at the shop, Jen and the woman at the front desk (whose name I unfortunately do not recall) offered me herbal tea and made me feel comfortable on the couch. Jen chatted with me before the facial to better understand my current routine. The facial was extremely relaxing and my skin was glowing afterwards! Jen provided helpful recommendations on how to manage my skin care and demonstrated how to use some of the recommended products from my service. She was very honest and not too pushy. Weeks later, my skin continues to feel awesome and I am excited to return to the shop soon! I would highly recommend a facial at Brooklyn herborium or even a visit into the shop to look at their awesome natural skincare products

The quality of this store speaks for itself. I’ve been receiving facials at the Herborium for several years, and each time it’s like being transported to another planet. The services are a true treat, and the women are knowledgeable and nurturing. They will never shame you for the products you use, and they will never push their products on you. They aim to educate you, and they give recommendations for easy-to-implement minor changes that you can start making to improve your skin and overall wellness. This is a woman-owned business. I loved my experience at the Brooklyn Herborium (Carroll Gardens) with Jen. I don't treat myself like this often, so I decided to go for it all, with level 3. I've had a few facials before but this was something extra special. I was surprised (pleasantly) that it started with a chat session on the couches, sipping organic herbal tea. The decor and vibe of the spot is welcoming, beautiful, homey with a hint of rustic sophistication. She asked me about my routine and told me she would know how to customize my treatment with a closer look when we got into the treatment room, which was just as serene and homey as the rest of the store. It turned out that some of the options I thought about were not needed; I appreciated her honesty. I opted for her recommendations because I trusted her sincerity and expertise. Jen had an intuitive touch and was clear that I could give her direction if I wanted to. I enjoyed the massages, the soft music selection, the sound bath with real instruments as I lay in a mask with warm towels, the crystals and stones, the subtle scents of the organic handmade products. It was just what I needed on a cold winter day. I even went out to dinner without makeup because I was glowing! After the treatment, I was able to browse the products while she showed me exactly how to use them at home and answer all my questions thoroughly. I felt genuinely pampered and cared for. I will definitely be going back to see Jen!

I have searched my entire adolescent and adult life for solutions to my constantly changing skin care needs. From acne to melasma, dryness to wrinkles, I have used a considerable amount of products in our market. Nothing has been more helpful, long lasting, targeted and effective as the products from Brooklyn Herborium. And to top that off, the staff here are some of the brightest women in the industry. It's gratifying to purchase products made by these women and the results are astounding. My skin is clear, glowing, neutralized, and non-reactive to every changing hormone, temperature and skin-polluting agent. I can't thank this place enough and I highly suggest every woman in any age category use their products and advice!

I cant say enough positive things about Emma and her gorgeous studio. I was blown away by her extensive knowledge, customer service, and attention to detail. I walked in for a facial, and walked out having received a wealth of invaluable knowledge, and an in depth chemistry lesson about my skin.... on top of the incredible facial. Love, and goodness really do pour out of every flawless pore on her body. She's a total life saver. I couldn't be happier with my first experience

Emma is amazing! Kindness and love radiate out of every (flawless ) pore on her body. She nurtures and treats the whole person, not just the skin. I trust her, and know that every Between You And The Moon product is safe, natural, and beneficial. So glad she now has Brooklyn Herborium to share her skills, love and knowledge with so many people.

I had read about Emma's natural skin care philosophy and practice on Into The Gloss and as someone with sensitive skin and a preference for all things natural i was really keen to try out Emma's facials and products. When i visited NYC in 2013 i got my chance. I cannot recommend Between You and The Moon highly enough! Emma gave me excellent skin care advice, the best facial i have ever had (before or since) and i took many of her products with me back to Australia. My skin looked AMAZING afterwards and her products are gentle yet super effective. I love that they are natural, handmade and effective. I wish i lived in NYC just for Between You and The Moon. Seriously!

I was blown away with Molly and Emma, they were great, happy, funny and the products I got from them based on their expert advice and experience was just what I needed to get me to that next level of skin care. Yes I am a guy, but I care about beauty and so do these women and it is reflected in the excellent quality of their products. This is the only place for me to get the kind of naturally high quality product that I will use on my face and trust because of the great results I have had and continue having.

The Brooklyn Herborium is by far the best facial I have ever had! Emma, the incredibly talented and lovely facialist and Good-Witch-In-Chief, has wonderfully gentle hands and an exacting eye, making her facials both totally thorough and completely relaxing and pampering. Emma also understands skin. Her recommendations are not driven by a desire to push products, but rather by a genuine wish to make her client's skin better. She takes a pared-down approach to skincare and the Herborium's own line of products, Between You and the Moon, is simply incredible. Every one of the products is hand-crafted with love and tremendous care and they are beautiful, gentle, yet effective. Even if you can't make it to have a facial with Emma, do check out the products: they will make a huge difference to your skin!

I have never had the pleasure of visiting in person but the products are OUTSTANDING! I first heard of Emma from Erin of BabyCakes NYC in a blog entry. Since then I immediately ordered the same products she talked about and have since tried some others. The approach to skin care is refreshing and so simple and it works. It's really amazing to watch your skin do so well being supported by these amazing products. I am planning a trip to NYC to get pampered in person but until then I will keep ordering their Between You and the Moon product line (Sow Your Wild Oats and Nourish and Replenish oil are AMAZING)
