This review is for the ladies like me that don’t do anything fancy (IE don’t get your hair colored, etc). I am super disappointed, I get my haircut at nice salons as a pampering myself treat and honestly thought from reviews this place would be great. Unfortunately they fall into the category I feel a lot of salons do now = the simpler the appt the less they care about you as a customer. Aka the less money you are spending the less they care about doing a good job, hell even a decent job. But when my hair gets CRAZY THINNED without my permission, and my direct request for style and length are ignored, it’s beyond disappointing it’s infuriating. Now I’m dealing with crazy frizz and almost mullet problems and crying over my beautiful thick hair that is now half of what it was before I walked in there. I even still tipped her some, knowing that is probably just based on who trained her, even as I started crying seeing my hair in the mirror.

I recently moved to Omaha & I had one appointment at this salon a couple of months ago. I had a positive experience with Lydia. At the conclusion of that appointment, I scheduled my next haircut & put it in my calendar. I showed up at the salon this morning at my scheduled time, and the receptionist informed me it had been cancelled. I received no communication about the cancellation, and they were unable/unwilling to tell me why it happened. So disappointing.

Kinley is very knowledgeable and did exactly what I asked for! I’m very happy with my hair. The atmosphere is beautiful and every one is super nice in there. Definitely will be a regular here

Kennady did such an amazing job, she did exactly what i asked for in a short amount of time compared to the other salons I’ve been to. My commute to her is an hour but it is worth it because she does such a great job! Shes the best stylist I’ve been to yet!

The parking lot was a very safe place to hunker down during thunderous and windy weather. There were no big trees nearby that could crush my car if they fell. I had a front seat ticket to the storm damage across the street at the golfing course, which is always nice to witness. And I got to watch the ladies inside the salon conduct themselves like absolute crisis masters when the power went off (although I feel very bad for the woman who was right in the middle of her haircut and probably had to go home with half a style).

Bungalow8 offers the best customer service from start to finish! I recommend services by Alyssa Landon or Megan Janning to all my friends with complete confidence. The apprentice stylists always impress me with their versatility and ability to jump in and help shampoo, etc. The front desk team is so helpful and sweet. They always make me feel like a VIP when I walk in the door. I'm really thankful for the new online booking option too. The salon is bright, airy, clean and always has a positive atomosphere. Come for the spectacular services and stay for the laughs!

Bungalow 8 don't care about your hair only your money my hair 6 months later last appointment at bungalow 8 it will take years for my hair to be the same before it went there beware ask questions

I always get the best haircut ever from Alyssa Landon ! I'm loving my new look and was nervous about curtain bangs and being a mom on the go, but she encouraged me they would be low maintenance. I am never anxious when she cuts my hair since it’s always exactly what I want! Alyssa did an incredible job, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a fresh new style!

I went to this salon because of the good reviews about Katie being great with wavy/curly hair. She cut my hair even shorter than what I wanted. I said I was growing out my hair. It went from chin length to even shorter. I paid a ridiculous amount of money for a bad haircut and I trusted she could tell me what would work best on my fine, wavy hair. I have yet to find a stylist who knows how to cut fine wavy hair.

I’ve been to many salons in my lifetime—both locally and globally. And I must share that Bungalow 8 is a superlative world-class experience. Every time I leave the salon, inevitably a stranger will ask where I get my hair cut. My stylist, Eric, is attentive, talented, cerebral, and (bonus) fun! I walk out of my appointments feeling like I’ve been renewed and refreshed. Definitely an A++++++++ experience. I highly recommend!

Lauren is the BOMB! I have been going to Lauren and Bungalow 8 for almost 10 years now and so happy that I do. Her and I just have so much during my hair cut. She is easy to talk too, super relatable and really listens to what I want when I decided to change my hair style.

OMG I just saw Elyse, the curl specialist. I love her! For years, I have thought my hair was thinning - nope. Just turns out I was obviously NOT seeing a curl specialist.. found my new hair girl and MAN do I feel like a new woman 😉 thank you Elyse! I look forward to seeing you next time!

Very impressed! The hairdressers go through a whole year of apprenticeship before being given full clients and then so much training through the year! Definitely a head above the rest, so to speak.

I hired Bungalow8 for on-site hair styling for myself and six bridesmaids and they did an amazing job! Natasha and Sierra got through everyone quickly the morning of, and everyone was so happy with how they looked! My hair stayed in place the whole day, and I've never felt more beautiful!

Our usual hair stylist at a different salon moved away so I was tasked with finding a new stylist that specialized in curls for my daughter. It is very hard for me to trust anyone cutting her hair and making it look good. Elise eased all of my stress and worry. My daughter wanted a wolf cut with bangs and that is what she got. We love it! We have def found our new stylist!
