Made an appointment online and when I showed up they were closed. Don’t know why you’d let people make an appointment for a time you’re not open.

Made an appointment, got a confirmation email, walked all the way there & showed up 10 minutes early & the place was closed. Lights off, door locked. Nobody answered the phone & their voicemail box was full, so I couldn't leave a message. Emailed the stylist & the salon twice & still haven't received any response after almost a week. I hoped it was just a mistake but I have no idea why this could be happening. No info about a closure on their website. I was very excited to visit this salon & hopefully find a regular stylist but I am going elsewhere.

The third and last time I tried to get my hair cut here, Madison had given up my appointment slot, which I had scheduled days in advance. The first two haircuts were great, but I had to wait about 10 minutes later than my appointment. Overall, not worth the really expensive price to go regularly.

Madison is truly the best hair expert my lucky locks have had the pleasure of being treated to! She takes great time and care to listen to her clients being honest about what's possible and the results you can get. Her Salon is the perfect Combination of that home style feel with all the comforts of any competitor. She is personable and kind as well as an expert in her field! Highly recommend her for any hair service !

As a designer, I know that design is as much about what you don't do as what you do. Mallory totally got it when I came in with a very short haircut that needed careful consideration and not a lot of cutting to turn from what it was into something expressive and alluring. She asked me about my goals for the haircut ("I want a boyfriend") and rocked it. On my short walk back to work, I got a "Looking great, Babe!"" and a "Hey hey hey!," which is NOT Seattle as I know it. Plus, that same day, I got chatted up in the elevator. Best yet, we have a plan to make it even better as it grows out. Ladies past 45 rocking a short pixie is tricky: Many possible aesthetic perils to navigate (Mannish, utilitarian, delusional, etc.) and I feel like I have a protector who cares and will put her heart and soul into helping me attract that elusive perfect boyfriend. Cute salon, an intimate oasis.

Great experience! Very friendly staff, convenient parking, awesome haircut, and great value. If you work down town and need a haircut, it doesn't get more convenient than this.

Great haircut at great price! Very accommodating and pleasant atmosphere. Madison listened to everything I said and was careful to cut my hair exactly as I wanted. Would definitely go again next time I am in Seattle.

Burnt District is a new salon founded by well-established stylist Madison Walker. After a decade working at Gene Juarez she answered the call to open her own salon with it's own twist. Unlike any other salon in Seattle, Burnt District is member's only. While membership is free and takes two seconds to fill out (in person only), it allows for more perks than a typical salon (feel free to ask for a beer when you get your haircut). There are also numerous events going on like art walks and tastings that members are welcome to attend. Overall, Burnt District is a welcoming place that gives the escape many people working downtown and in Pioneer Square need, even if it is just for a quick buzz or professional women's color and cuts. Highly recommend!

First time there today, had a great cut. Madison is super friendly, chatty and skilled. Funky vibe in the salon, she made me feel comfortable and love the haircut. Very fair price for someone with that much experience, definitely will go back!

I went in and had a hair cut from Madison and a partial Balayage from Christopher. I must say that finding folks who do well with curly hair is hard and I have never had a better experience. Saying that Madison understands curly hair and is focused on the details is an understatement. Best haircut of my life. Same goes with Christopher's attention to detail when it comes to color. I have never been to a hair stylist that I wanted to "commit" to but I will with the Burnt District! Such a great salon!

Madison and the entire group of talented individuals make this the most highly recommended Salons & Spa in Seattle. I love the personal attention and detail that they provide. I like the membership concept and he fact you can relax with a cocktail or beverage of your choice and great company!
