Amazing spot for curly haired folks! I've been going to Ricka since I moved to Louisville and the first time I got a cut / style from her, I said "This is the best haircut I've ever had!" I always walk out of C & R feeling amazing. I highly recommend for anyone struggling to find someone who can do a beautiful curly cut. Ricka is your person!

Ricka is always professional and I really enjoy coming here. My hair has grown so much in the last year. I had shaved sides when i came and now i have a healthy bob length natural hair. The steam hydration treatment helps so wonderfully. And she selects the right hair products for my goals and hair needs.

Someone Answered The Phone, & Was Polite, & Professional, & Laughed, With Me, About When An Appointment Would Be Open. I Needed That. I Joked, About Not Having Hours, During The 1st Week, Of The New Year (2024), When Told January Would Be When I Can Schedule Consultation. This Is A Place I've Hoped To Do Business With, For Longer Than I Can Remember, B'cuz My Natural Hair Has Been Part Of My Poetry (1998-2008), & Presentation, Among My Audiences, & Had To Be Abandoned, While - Too Long UnEmployed, & "Counted", Among The Homeless, Since 2006. Now, My Hair Is Thinning; Suffering Alopecia, & Dreaded, Unintentionally, & I've No Clue What Will Remain - If Anyone Is Willing To Work With It. Fortunately, I've Kept It Covered, & Cleaner Than It Could Be. My Vehicular Shelter, & Gym Memberships, Help Me Avoid "Could Be Worse!" Scenarios. Since February 2023, I've Worked, & Can Pay For HairCare, Again. That, One, Phone Call, Was "5 Star", For Me. Thank you.

Love love love this salon and haircuts from Ricka. I spent years fighting my curls, and Ricka has them looking so good that now I love them, and I get so many compliments. The cuts grow out really well, too. The salon experience is a delight from front to back. If you have curly hair, get yourself to C & R Beauty bar!
