We took our daughter for an hair cut and ended up having an unsatisfactory hair cut and additionally a very poor attitude by the hairstylist. She got really rude, when asked to make some change in the error she made. We would never recommend this hair stylist.

If you want to be underserved and overcharged, this is the place for you. As a bonus, upon checking out you will have charges added for services not received. Due to their blind check out process, you will not know of the breakdown of their charges until you receive the emailed receipt. Another bonus is the frustration of having the owner Angelica, per her receptionist, lie to you when you are told you will receive a credit for the overcharge but then remains noncommittal when this said credit never hits your account. She corrected my receipt with the services that were actually provided but NEVER provided me with the credit. Pretty sad that the owner resorts to this behavior just for an extra $30 as well as caring more for her profit and less for her regular monthly clients that are already paying her elevated prices.

Isabell was absolutely amazing for my daughter! She was so nice and easy going and such a joy to work with. She left my daughter’s hair looking amazing and the price was such a good price for what we got! We will be back for sure!!! Also to add the salon itself is so cute inside and has so much amazing cactus artwork.

Angie did a phenomenal job on giving me an haircut and curtain bangs although I was nervous beforehand. She was also super friendly. The salon was very clean and cute inside. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely will be coming back. Thanks Angie my hair feels so much lighter and healthier!!!

Great color services, good customer service at time of service however they will surprise you with a huge amount to pay!! $200 for single color only for short hair. When I tried to call and resolve the huge payment I just made, the manager was supposed to speak to the owner and they did not call me back. I am disappointed and I definitely will never pay $200 again; This place is overpriced!!!!

The staff here are incredible. Atmosphere was nice. My hair didn't turn out exactly how I wanted but they worked really hard on it and I asked for something kind of outrageous. Update: they did offer to redo it for free though

Everyone here was very nice but I spent over 2 hours there for a simple haircut. My stylist was inexperienced I think, she did try her best and the cut came out really cute! But when she asked how I wanted it styled I figured just a blow out would be simple. She used no heat protectant on my hair and spent probably an hour just blowing it out on a very low heat and only the ends. At that point she left to get who I believe was the owner who finished the blowout because my roots were all still damp. I did let my original stylist know my hair is naturally wavy/curly beforehand. The owner offered to have another stylist curl my hair but I declined as at that point I’d been there for over 2 hours. My original stylist never said anything to me- she just left and wouldn’t even make eye contact which was a little odd- I wasn’t upset but I would’ve rather she just told me to begin with that she didn’t know how to do a blowout, or apologized and let me know she was going to get the owner. She was very sweet as was everyone else here but if you go to this salon I might suggest booking with one of their more experienced stylists. The haircut was very reasonably priced so I didn’t feel the need to complain or ask for a discount, and they gave me 10% off for being a first time customer.

I had an excellent first time visit to this salon. Great service and a friendly welcoming staff.Decided to go from dark brown hair to platinum blonde for a Halloween costume. Turned out better than I could have imagined. Going forward anytime I need a trim or cut they will get my business.

I have been going to this salon since November and, in that time, I've had my hair cut by four different stylists. It seems that there is a revolving door of junior stylists and I've never once been notified ahead of time that the previous stylist had left. On my most recent visit, I was assured that the newest stylist was great and had lots of experience, but I ended up getting a really bad haircut. She was very chatty, but I think that took away from her listening to me and concentrating on what she was doing. I was very specific about what I wanted and she ended up taking off WAY too much hair (I have short hair to begin with). I had also told her that I liked to have my bangs straightened and she seemed to have a really hard time straightening them. I also got soaked while she was washing my hair - a definite first in a salon. After all of this, I was then charged more than for a junior stylist as I was told that she was at a higher level. In my opinion, she was not. They did end up reducing the price to what I had been paying previously since I hadn't been forewarned. After eight months and four different stylists, it's time to find somewhere new. It's unfortunate as the salon is nice and within walking distance of my house, but it's impossible to develop a relationship with a stylist there before they leave.

I went to Cactus Blossom for the 1st time today. I just googled it and thought I would give them a try. I walked in and was welcomed by the girl at the front desk. And I am so sorry I didnt get her name. She has the most beautiful welcoming smile. She is so sweet. I told her it was my 1st time. She asked if I was looking for cut, hair color the usual. After I told her what I needed, she introduced me to the stylist who would be doing my hair. Stylist name is Gracie. Gracie is the most cutest sweetest girl. Anyways Gracie proceeded to start working on my hair, we had wonderfull conversation, she is from the northeast originally as am I. She out did herself on my hair. It is beutiful. I am so happy I chose Cactus Blossom to do my hair this morning. I looked at a few others but kept coming back to their website. I want add that the other stylist that were there were also very kind and welcoming. You feel at home. I want to say thank you the beautifull front desk girl, and to Gracie for being so sweet and gracious. But most of all for taking care of my hair. Gracie my hair is gorgeous. I absolutely love it. If you have not been at this salon, I strongly suggest you give it a try. Thank you for the experience.

So glad I found this place! I had tried several salons b/c I am new to the area, but just hadn't found one I loved. I prefer my hair very short, but also feminine. I was getting discouraged trying to find a place that could style it the way I like it. The person that took my call was extremely helpful and able to get me in quickly. My appointment was with Blue and I am extremely happy with my haircut. He did a fantastic job! Nice atmosphere and friendly people. Highly recommend!

This was my first time trying this salon since it was close to my house. They are not upfront on additional charges or time. I wasn’t told I was getting a junior stylist ahead of time or when I arrived. It took 5.5 hours for a haircut and full highlight/lowlight with no notice and was charged over $100 more for services and products that the stylist did not tell me were additional charges. I did call right after my appointment and spoke to the salon owner who was nice and apologized for some of it but tried to say the additional charges could be incurred due to hair length and consultation. Also I wasn’t offered any type of refund. She also mentioned that if you are on a budget you should tell them. The stylist I had did not explain any of the additional costs or services when she was going over things with me. The staff was nice and my hair does look nice which is why I give the 2 stars. I told the owner I will be going back to my other salon even though it is a drive from my house as I can have a master stylist do my hair in half the time and $100 cheaper. Also there was color on my shirt from the color which I hope comes out in the wash or a favorite shirt of mine will be ruined. Very unprofessional for a high end salon.

Took my daughter for a simple trim ended up taking almost 2 hours. The lady that was cutting her hair was so interested in all the conversations going on that she kept stopping. Then proceeded to stop take a minute to get a chair to sit while cutting her hair. Nice clean place but haven't been back since.
