I received the worst haircut of my life here. I was very clear in what I wanted and came out with something completely different. I was so humiliated I went somewhere else and got it "fixed" as soon as I could. I spent a year growing my hair out only to have my progress destroyed within 30 minutes.

I love Cali Hair. They’re amazing at what they do. Perfect toning for blonde, great at low lights and highlights, all without damaging the hair. They’re highly trained. I’ve been going to them for years. The staff are all so professional and they care about my hair. Jenny and Fatmah are my stylists and I love them.

So, this is the first time in a very long time I’ve been to salon due to phobia of getting hair chop off! Jenny is my stylist and I’m soooooooo beyond happy, contented, satisfied and grateful! She is so sweet, kind and understanding. She really listened to what I want and she delivered! My hair prior to the service was completely damaged and all over the place, the color and the style was a complete mess and the hair health, horrible. Jenny however saved it! She is straight up with her price and it’s reasonable. She helped me pick the right color and styled it that it looks sooooooo amazing! I can’t wait to go back for a treatment and more trimming since I’m more comfortable now with Jenny. Thank you Jenny, for fixing my head, I’m so grateful!

Been going here for about 10 tears now. Tommy always does a great job and Sunny, the owner is very friendly. The new remodel looks great too.

Son(Sonny) was great, friendly. Nikki(Kim) is also good and she used to be at Vy Vy Beauty Salon in Richmond. Salon is nice and clean. Overall friendly staffs.

Asked for just a trim. Stylist listened, verbalized back to me what I wanted. Proceeded to CUT my hair very, very short! Not flattering to me at all AND certainly NOT what I requested! She started in the back, I didn't realize how Super short until it was too late. Won't be back. On the positive side, salon was neat & clean.

Cheers to all the staff here! They work in harmony with seamless transition from haircut, perm, washing, to touch ups, and among other services offered. Everyone’s pleasant to interact with, striving to be perfectionist in their craft. Been here for over 10 visits and I’ve always walked out the door with confidence knowing my strands are taken care of.

I just moved here from Tampa 6 weeks ago and made an appointment to get my hair done. I have very long, thick, color treated hair and had been getting it done in Tampa by the same person for a couple decades. I was, luckily, handed over to Jenny. What a difference! The color and cut are head and shoulders over what I had walking in! And my hair is so soft. The main thing I love so much is the color, she did an amazing job 👏 👏 👏 👏 I already made my next appointment. I had such a nice time talking with her the whole time and my hair looks amazing (to me anyway). This is my new go to place!

I was actually a regular customer of theirs. I went to here to straighten my hair in April 2023. My hair was smooth for a few months. I am satisfied with the result. The second time was on November 14th, but the result was a huge difference. My hair was still curly frizzy and very boring. My hair keeps me from leaving the house unless I wear a hat. I started contacting the hairstylist on the third day after I had my hair done, but her attitude was very tough, instead of apologizing, she accused me that my hair was difficult to do,I should not eat and I didn’t understand, etc. She said she could do some of the repairs for me, but she didn't guarantee any results, so I didn't fix it and couldn’t trust her anymore.

I’ve been going here for about 8 years but the last couple of visits the stylists (I’ve had multiple stylists) have messed up my hair. My recent visit will be my last for sure!

Jenny does a fabulous job on my hair; she keeps me on trend! Sonny the salon owner is excellent, and a true professional. I always leave Cali Hair Studio looking & feeling my best. It's not the poshest studio, but it's always busy and the results speak for themselves. My 20 something daughters love the cuts they get from Jenny, too. 💖

OMG. I went to go get curtain bangs and Kiki with purple hair did such a good job. It was just like the pictures I showed and she styled it just the way I wanted it. I am beyond happy with my experience and the price was reasonable, I will be back!!
