I’ve been going to Caliber Hair & Makeup Studio for years and there isn’t another place I’d rather go to for a haircut. The staff is kind, welcoming, and Yessi does a great job on my haircuts. 10/10 would recommend. Several flame emojis.

THE BEST SALON EVERRR!!! i cannot say enough good things about this salon. i came in for the first time to get my hair which was dyed brown (professionally) back to bright blonde. i found Maddie (double points for having a cool matching name to me 😉) on instagram and told her my hair history and she was able to book me for a consultation and color correction very quick! she was super flexible in changing my appointment when i couldn’t get out of the house due to snow, and when i finally got in i was pleasantly surprised. she was able to correct my hair to a blonde in one sitting without compromising the health of my hair or too much length. and because i had previously colored hair there was some banding, which she gladly fixed the next day for me for no cost! the whole service only took about 4.5 hours and i have THICK hair 😂😂 as you can see in the photo below. Maddie still does my hair and it always looks perfect, isn’t crazy expensive, and is great to talk to. all the staff is AMAZING, all the stylists are super sweet and same w the owner. they create such a welcoming environment. i love going to get my hair done and she always makes me feel stunning. the photos are before and after, and then how many foils were in my hair. GO TO CALIBER SALON!! you will not be disappointed 🤍🤍🤍

The past four years have helped create my best self and I always feel well taken care of when I leave. Staff is fab and service remarkable. Love it ALL.

At 50+ I’ve had a lot of haircuts! Never have I experienced the attention to detail and consistency of Caliber. They always ask for feedback regarding my experience, as a small business owner myself, I recognize their continued commitment to improve and provide stellar service for every client. I came in yesterday to have Tres fix a haircut I just received. I wasn't sure what it needed, and Tres just did his magic! Today, I had to do a video for class, and I was obsessed with my hair. I love the structure of the cut and love my hair!

I came to Caliber salon and Maddi (Madison) was the stylist assigned to me. She is soooo good at her job, so professional and sweet 🩷 great at what she does and so knowledgeable. I was also assisted by Megan and she es super attentive and sweet. All and all , I had the best experience and will continue to come get my hair done here and will recommend them to EVERYONE that will hear.

I got my hair cut and colored by Hunter and Yessi, and it looks amazing! I really appreciated the consultation process, and being able to sit down and talk through the ideas I had for my hair. I love doing fun colors and the split dye came out awesomely. The people who work there are always nice and fun to talk to. Highly recommend!!!

I have been going to Caliber Salon for over ten years! I am always getting compliments on my hair. They always offer the latest in color techniques and keep me current. The salon team did a great job at my daughters wedding, too! The wedding party looked amazing for all the photos. Thank you Caliber Salon and Tres.

I've been visiting Caliber Salon for 12 years for cut and color. I love this place. The staff is amazing and Tres is the best stylist in Reno--an award winning master. Caliber is the only salon I will visit. I ALWAYS get compliments on my color and haircut.

If I could rate this salon zero stars, I would! If you are planning to get hair extensions, do not go to this salon. Maddie gave us a consultation to install hair extensions on my daughter. My daughter was very clear that she wanted to match her copper red hair color, and that she didn't want to see a harsh line from her natural hair and the extensions. When Maddie spoke, she seemed very confident, so we decided to proceed. The total cost was $1,300, and we waited a week for the order of hair extensions to arrive. The end result was very upsetting! The hair color did not match. Her hair was darker on top (copper red), and the extensions were blonde. We pointed it out prior to the installation, and we're assured that it would blend in well, so we proceeded. When she was finally done with the installation, the hair color did not match, AND she cut off so much hair and left the ends jagged. There is a picture on my yelp review if you would like to see. The next day, we went to a different salon to have her hair color evened out and trimmed. After less than 3 weeks, one of the rows started to fall out, and by the end of the day, it fell out completely! We called and went to the salon the following day. Maddie's response was that because she colored her hair at a "different" salon, that was the reason that the row of hair fell out. Bologna! Ultimately, we left with Maddie holding the row of hair in her hand. The owner, Tres, was also present to "defend" his stylist. He was extremely rude and unprofessional! Instead of apologizing, he very rudely "walked" us to the door. In addition, the stylists at this salon, seem to always need advice from Tres, such as which hair colors to mix, and it reminded me of being in beauty school. I recommend not patronizing this salon.

I’ve been getting my hair done at Caliber with Tres and the team for 10 years and love the results! I’ve gotten the best cuts and color here and have referred all of my friends. My husband shaved his head before Tres started to cut it because he could never good cut. He has a beautiful head of hair so that was a shame but now, Tres takes great care of his locks! The caliber team is also great. I give them with all the stars!!!

I have been a client of Tres’ for almost 13 years, he is a mastermind with hair. I have long extremely thick hair and honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with it, but him and I get compliments on my color all the time. Would highly recommend him and his salon. Caliber is the best!

I've never liked my hair. It's fine and limp and has never looked good....UNTIL I came to Caliber. Tres masterfully provided the best cut my hair has ever had. I LOVE my hair now. It really makes that much of a difference in my life. Sounds cheesy and over the top, but coming to Caliber has really improved my self image and self confidence. I recently got some color (purple and blue!) added by Amber. Again, life changing! I am so tickled with everything I have had done at Caliber. I've been coming here for the last 10 years and I'm always excited to go back!
