I love coming to see Heidi at Calvin Mitchell. Heidi has been coloring and cutting my hair for years. She does a fantastic job and always listens and recommends what is best for mine and my daughter’s hair. The salon is beautiful and comfortable at the same time. The location off Brownsboro Road is easy to access and there is plenty of parking. I would suggest to anyone to go see Heidi at Calvin Mitchell.

I have been getting haircuts from Wayne Allen for many years. He does a great job. I don’t know anything about the service offered to women but the haircut is great.

I recently moved to Louisville and needed to find a salon. I tried three salons and was not pleased with the results. Thankfully, I asked my neighbor where she had her hair done because it looked great and she told me about this salon. My stylist is Shana and she is wonderful! She is bubbly and knowledgeable and immediately put me at ease. I love the color and the cut. She did a GREAT job.

The salon is staffed with talented and experienced stylists. The owner has spent a lot of energy and time to make sure that all clients are comfortable and get the service they want.

Ought to be renamed to the Calvin Mitchell Salon of the deaf and hard of hearing. I told the stylist “make sure you can see my ears and that my hair isn’t touching my collar, otherwise don’t change it”. And I came out of this place looking like a 13 year old tik tok e boy It was four months of growing out my hair completely wasted. I haven’t been able to control much in my life due to circumstances, but one thing I can always have is hair. Like the greasers of old I cannot afford corvairs or madras shirts, but one thing I can have is long hair. That is until I went to this stylist anyways.
