Walked in for a 30 min foot massage. Did a wonderful job for the $25 price! 3 people were able to do a walk in.

The people are nice and welcoming. In terms of the massage itself,the foot massage is amazing but the back rub is not professional at all. Either the force was so strong that it's painful or I don't feel anything at all. I did not feel relaxed at all and it was not a pleasurable experience like one expects a back massage to be. The masseuse had no range about applying different levels of force in sensitive areas vs non sensitive areas. Plus when I was giving over 15% tip, the front desk person pushed me to give 20%.

We came to nam wah, the restaurant next to Canal Body few days ago! We saw a board saying combination back and foot massage 38$ so we decided to give it a try. Ambience : okay Hygiene : 8/10. Pretty decent. Back massage : 8/10 ( although i had slight pain near my spine the next morning, bcz i guess the lady used her elbow to give me pressure points. Its been 5 days, the pain is still there, otherwise it wad good) Foot : 5/10 - it was not too good. Did not enjoy it much. While leaving, we gave a tip that was maybe lesser than what they expected. The lady who gave massage was pretty upset. The tip amount is at the sole discretion of the customer. I am not sure if its a correct practice to feel bad if u dont get a certain amount as tip. Overall rating : 6/10.

I have been coming for a couple of years now. Great massages I love their foot massage they do a hot stone at the end as well. I also like that they give you a stamp evry time to earn a free massage at the end and the people there are all very nice and friendly!!!

I got a foot massage here. But they're not professionals, and they didn't have special skills. Also, a woman who was getting a massage next to me got angry that they were very lacking in skills. Finally, I paid a decent tip, but a Chinese woman got mad at me for asking for more tips. I paid enough tips and was very angry at their demands. I'll never visit here again, and I hope you guys think carefully about visiting too.

They provides perfect massage.Nice employees, but they kinda want to trick clients. They made different combos and put the card in the video below stating that of you write them a yelp review you can have a additional 15 minutes. So we pick the 45 minutes combo and confirmed with the front desk if the extra 15 min is available. After we got a solid yes from one of the employees, we went in. However, they combo is not as flexible as it looks like and the the employees distributed the time for us, so when we went to pay at the front desk, they said we can use the combo and what we have became two single services. And the employees denied the additional 15 min says they never heard of that. So we called the boss and here’s what happened then (conversation in both Chinese and English). Hope it would be helpful when you make the decision whether gonna have your massage here. And pleaaaaase be careful with that.

I suffer from shoulder and neck pain. I did 45 minutes back and legs. The price was excellent. I felt great walking out with comfort. Remember a lot of these shops are opening back after covid so remember to tip well. Happy massaging.

It's great that this company moved to a quieter location from the hustle and bustle of Canal Street where you can hear the noise outside as well as the other rooms (the walls are thin). But at the Doyer location, it's much more peaceful and the area outside is nicer. There are places to sit and eat/drink after your massage. We usually do 2 hr full body massages @ $90 which is cheaper than other places where they charge for more than $100 or $150 for 1hr. Everytime we go here, I would ask the masseuse to be gentle. In the beginning, it would hurt despite the gentleness, maybe due to being tensed and tight, then afterwards, it wouldn't hurt anymore. I think the masseuse did a good job releasing the tension. Another thing, you can text the owner, Kevin, when you would like to come and he can easily accommodate you especially if you plan to bring someone with you so that he can arrange for more masseuses. From my experience with Canal Body Works, I didn't have any problems from the beginning when contacting them to the end when the massage is finished. You should go and try them.

Girl who gave me my massage was not pleasant, then insisted on a $10 tip for a $38 massage. Mediocre at best. Would not recommend.

Great place! Clean and friendly. Was treated kindly and made very comfortable by owners. Leo was my masseuse and he was fantastic, worked out a lot of pain and blockage with strength and intuitiveness while still being sensitive and gentle at the same time. These guys are for real. Check them out!

I went in for a massage post marathon, I specified the areas (quadriceps) that needed the most attention but they didn’t even touch the front of my legs beyond patting me a little as the timer went off. The rest was average. Then they shook me down for a larger tip than the 15% cash tip I was willingly offering, forcing me to put it on my credit card. I can only assume they pressure people for good reviews as well as for undeserved tips. I wish I had refused but I didn’t feel able to with two men not letting me go.

The best massage I probably ever had, I wanted only shoulders,back, neck and got legs as a bonus. Wow, and she knew exactly where I had oroblems and paid high emphasis on those spots. Highly recommended.

This was a much needed stop for a foot massage with my boyfriend while here for vacation. Quiet, low lighting, A/C, and a great foot rub. Very nice staff and great prices!
