I highly recommend Candelaria for wedding hair and makeup! They were very flexible with both my wedding date that had to be rescheduled, and with my hair and makeup trial run that had to be worked around me being out of the country in the weeks before the wedding. Both Cassie and Ashlyn were welcoming and kind and it was easy to be comfortable around them. They are also extremely talented- when I ended up wanting to teak my hairstyle for the wedding day they were able to execute what I described perfectly. Booking makeup touch ups for later in the day was one of the best decisions I made, as Cassie stayed with me and was able to touch up my makeup when I became sweaty and needed it, and she even re-curled my hair in between the ceremony and reception. I cannot recommend Candelaria enough and am very thankful for their services that helped make my wedding day great!

Cassandra is amazing to work with! I've booked her for all of my branding photoshoots so far and always feel like she can easily pull out my personality and create a look that is right for me every time. PLUS, she's so much fun to talk to while you're getting your face done. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Cassandra and Candelaria Beauty for my wedding, and they were amazing!! Cassandra did my hair and makeup, and she perfectly brought my vision to life, making me feel the most beautiful I've ever felt. Her entire team was equally amazing, doing a fantastic job with my bridesmaids' and moms' hair and makeup. They made everyone feel comfortable, taking into account their preferences, skin type, etc., ensuring everyone felt beautiful all day. The entire team was so kind, funny and talented — their energy added so much to our day. I cannot recommend Candelaria Beauty more highly. They are the best of the best!

My photographer for my maternity photo shoot recommended Candelaria to me when I asked for her recommendation for hair/makeup. I’m so glad she recommended them to me, as I had a great experience there! Cassie was wonderful, did a fantastic job, and left me feeling beautiful and confident for my photos. I appreciated that she gave me a run through of her plan on colors/finish/my preferences at the beginning, and also confirmed things with me throughout such as brow fill, lip color, etc. to ensure I was happy with the progress or suggestions. I really enjoyed chatting with her throughout my hair/makeup time as well, she’s a lovely person. I will definitely return to Candelaria and will recommend them to friends/family in the future.

LITERALLY THE BEST. I have booked with Cassie and her team twice now for separate events and she has exceeded my expectations with both hair and makeup each time. I drive from Colorado Springs to see her and would drive even further if I had to. Cassie is extremely talented and a master of her craft; she and her her team are worth every penny. I cannot say enough good things about Candelaria. My partner and I booked to get our makeup done for a friend's birthday party. The reason I searched for and chose Candelaria was because of their clear commitment and value of making every single person feel safe and welcome. It's not easy finding a safe place for bigger bodies, LGBTQ community and BIPOC community- let alone all in one. From their initial response to my inquiry to our appointment, my partner and I felt safe and had the best experience ever getting our makeup done. Thank you!!!!!!

The communication leading up to my wedding day was great. I loved my makeup trial and really liked the makeup artist. Everyone looked really beautiful on my wedding day but the makeup artist was SUPER behind. Like 20 minutes behind on the first person. By the time they got to me I felt like it was very rushed. I was the last person on the schedule and the bride should never go last in case things do run behind. Because we were so behind I didn’t get any of the getting ready photos I wanted or any unrushed special moments with my mom. My mom snd I are pretty disappointed about that. The makeup artist should have looked at the schedule and switched it around so I wasn’t last but I think she spent too much time talking during each person to think about that. Everything turned out really well overall but I’m disappointed when I think about how the getting ready portion of the day went.

I booked Cassandra for my engagement photos and she approached my service with so much knowledge and confidence. She got to work right away and answered all of my questions, ensuring that my requests were fulfilled for how I wanted my makeup to look. She made sure to make me feel comfortable during the process, checking in with me during the appointment. I hired Candelaria Beauty to do both hair and makeup for myself and my bridal party and they absolutely killed it! Cassie and her team are so talented and made sure to hear out each girl to make sure they delivered exactly what that person had in mine. I had girls in my group that loved glam makeup and some that were on the more natural side and they were able to accommodate it all! Prior to the wedding day, their communication and organization was top notch. I couldn't imagine my wedding day without them!!

Candelaria Beauty did an amazing job on hair and makeup for our wedding day! We chose them because of their inclusivity, diversity, and beautiful portfolio. Cassie, the business owner, did an exceptional job on our makeup. As two brides who do not typically wear much makeup, she made us feel comfortable and natural, but especially beautiful for our big day. Ashlynn styled our hair and was able to execute perfectly the pictures that we showed her for our vision. Everything held up so well throughout our entire wedding day; we didn't require any touch ups and our hair and makeup still looked flawless by the end of the night. Both of our moms and sister-in-law also had their hair and makeup done. Each person was incredibly pleased with the end results. On top of that, we had so much fun during the getting ready process. There was never an awkward silence or a dull moment - it felt like a group of friends just hanging out. We would absolutely recommend Candelaria Beauty for any hair and makeup needs! Cassandra and her team at Candelaria are amazing! She really took her time to understand my skin and hair in my initial trial. She even invited me back for a complimentary hair trial because she wanted to make sure she had my hair right on my wedding day. I have really, really straight hair that doesn't hold a curl well, but I wanted that Hollywood-style wave look. She found a way to make it stay locked in place and look amazing. I was truly touched by her attention to detail and couldn't have been happier with my entire look. My makeup was still on at the end of the night - and we all know how hard that can be with all the kissing that goes on ;) Book Cassandra and take the stress off yourself early on.

Candelaria Beauty was more expensive, but absolutely worth it. I was matched with Ashlyn and she was SUCH a joy! I hired the Candelaria Beauty for my June wedding. Not only was the owner super attentive to all my needs, but her team was absolutely amazing and accommodating with myself and my bridesmaids! During the trial we were able to go through all of my insecurities and concerns with both makeup and hair as I’m a plus size bride with long thick stubborn hair. I wanted to get my hair and makeup done for a tv interview for my business. I reached out with only a few days notice and they were able to squeeze me in. I loved the hair and makeup they did. I don’t wear a lot of makeup in my every day life so I was a little nervous. But they did a great job! It looked very natural and made me feel confident and comfortable.

The team at Candelaria are incredible! I had a destination wedding and was having a tough time finding a HAMU team that I trusted in a city that I was unfamiliar with. However, once I met Cassie I knew that I would be in good hands. Her and her team were amazing to work with - very professional, knowledgeable and kind. They made sure that I was relaxed (as much as a bride can be on her wedding day) and were super considerate of any direction or inspiration that I shared with them ahead of time - I wanted a more natural look but one that lasts. They were very understanding of any preferences that I shared or sensitivities that I had (for example - my eyes are sensitive to fake lashes), they worked with me and made sure that I was comfortable with all products/options. Honestly the best experience I've had with professional HAMU services!
