I sought Candis’ expertise with significant concerns regarding my hair, which had become extremely thin and damaged due to the effects of medication. My expectations were tempered by the severity of the damage, and I had little confidence that restoration was possible, let alone initiating the loc process with my short hair. I met Candace back in 2017 when she installed my first set of sisterlocs. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I went on to have an additional set installed a few years later, and then this set of Microlocs about five years after. Candace incredibly knowledgeable, skilled and passionate about what she does. The way she has always made sure to produce a quality work and ensure that each set was truly tailored to my wants and needs is truly a blessing. When I say nobody does it better, that’s exactly what I mean. This is my third set so that should tell you something lol. So if you’re looking for the best in the 757 Candisweets beauty is where it’s at!

Had my first appointment with Candi today and might I say she was very professional and friendly. She took her time with my hair and let me know exactly what product she would be using. I went in for full color, retwist and a loc bob. I absolutely love the color and style! 😊 10 out of 10! 🙌🏾 Definitely highly recommend her if you are looking for a great stylist. Her products are amazing as well and smell lovely!

I’m a transfer client and I have been to about 3 locticians. All of them have taken about 4 hours to do a retie, mind you I have my sides and back shaved and have about 168 locs. Not only was Candi super professional, but she was prompt, welcoming and explained everything that she was doing. Her retired technique is amazing and it only took about 1.5 hours. So lucky to have found her !

If you want someone who is incredibly knowledgeable about sister/ micro locs as a whole, I highly recommend going to Candis! Before I went , I did my own research ,but I still had questions about getting my sister locs and the up keep on it. The reassurance I felt after talking with her gave me a safe place to start my sister loc journey. Now, 2 months into my journey, I absolutely love my sister locs. Also, I use her hair products, oil, and shampoo (homemade). They smell amazing, and my hair is growing at a healthy pace. It's the best decision ever.

This year, March 27/28, 2024, will be 4 years loc'd. I have been using Candi Sweets Beauty hair products since my journey began. The hydration and nourishing mist kept my hair hydrated without the heavy feel that other oils have, and the smell is amazing. The hydration mist has been replaced with the sealing oil and serves the same purpose. The Hair Growth Oil keeps my scalp moisturized as well. My scalp is not dry, so i don't need to use it daily. But let me tell you about the Pravana Intense leave-in conditioner. When I tell you that is the best leave-in conditioner i have ever used. Baybay, that conditioner is amazing. I got my retie yesterday 2/28/24 and went home and conditioned my hair. When I tell you my hair felt so soft and silky, even when I woke up the next morning, my hair still feels amazingly soft and silky. Candi, Thank you for the recommendation for the new products. I love them! And thank you for my Watermelon Swirl oil it smells so good. As long as you keep making these amazing products, I'll keep buying them. 🥰

I had a wonderful experience. My hair finished a day before schedule. I was relaxed, and extremely happy with the outcome. The take home kit makes maintenance extremely easy as well! I had the pleasure of getting my install with Candi Sweets. Dominique was so sweet and professional. She answered all my questions and our install took only 27 hours total broken in 3 days. She worked diligently and patiently especially while with her sweet boy alongside. I know going forward I will be working with Candi for my reties and I’m just looking forward to the journey. Candi is also a gem and very sweet and always spoke and opened her home to my daughter and I for our appointments. She is well educated and both enjoy what they do! I’m locked in and they are stuck with me!

I'm a transfer client. I had been following Candi for years before i had my locs installed. I wanted her to do my install, but I ended up going somewhere else. After about a year and a half, I found my way back to her. And she transformed my locs in one session! My locs looked great and I felt confident.
