Allie has been doing my hair for many years. She is one the best hairstylists I’ve been to in NJ. She is very personable, efficient, and does exactly what I ask for. Her blow outs are AMAZING, will last multiple days. I love the vibe of the salon, everyone is so warm and welcoming. I will continue to come back every time I need a service done!

Canvas by Elan is absolutely amazing had such a great experience especially with my hairdresser Becca. Not only did she give me exactly what I wanted hair raise she was just so uplifting and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and happy with my service. 10/10 will recommend

I can't say enough good things about Allie! From the moment I stepped into the salon, I knew I was in good hands. Allie has an incredible eye for detail and a true passion for her craft. She listened carefully to what I wanted, gave great suggestions, and somehow always manages to create exactly the look I envision! Her skills with color and cut are unmatched; my hair has never looked so healthy, vibrant, and perfectly styled. Every time I leave her chair, I feel like a brand-new person. Allie is so warm and welcoming, making the whole experience not just a haircut, but a little escape. She really takes the time to make sure you're comfortable and happy with your results. 10/10 recommend Canvas by Elan. And definitely biased, but you should see Allie at your next appointment!

I had an amazing experience at canvas by Elan. Becca did a fantastic job with my hair and I couldn’t be more happy. I would reccomend going to Becca for any needs, she does an amazing color, cut, and blowout. The salon was beautiful with great staff. Becca had an amazing, outgoing personality and not only made me feel beautiful but an unforgettable luxury experience!

I love the new stylist assigned to me from Elan their home-based location right around the corner and they’ve expanded to Canvas. I have very mixed feelings about the Canvas location. It has a very weird vibe about it and it just seems a lot more downgraded as far as overall experience from Elan. Not sure if I will continue …

I’m a longtime client and I’ve always gotten the best service from this great salon. My stylist Stacy is the best, a real professional and an artist. I’ve often gotten compliments on my color and my hair style. I’m always happy when it’s time to visit Canvas.

Becca was a phenomenal woman. She really listened to me when in the past, Ive had trouble getting my points across. She knew exactly what I wanted based off description and some pictures. She got my dream hair color how I always pictured it. Her blow out lasted a few days and I didnt even have to do my hair during that time! Will be returning to her for every hair service I need. Amazing experience. Love her!

Canvas by Elan is my go-to for all things hair. Stacy, who is my stylist and manages the salon, is incredible. She actively listens to her clients while offering her professional expertise. Everyone on the staff is pleasant, educated, attentive, and talented. I would 1000% recommend this salon.

Every time I walk into Canvas I am greeted by the most friendly faces! Even if I’m just going in for a hair wash and blowout, the staff makes sure I am comfortable and enjoying my experience. The receptionist, Susan, is kind, helpful, and positive. The staff takes pride in what they do and it shows! Best salon around!

I walked in to make an appointment. The first thing i noticed was how nice the salon is inside. It’s very clean and comfortable in there. Valerie at the front desk was very helpful. She is very polite and knowledgeable.

I’ve been going to Elan/ Canva for over 12 years and have always been totally happy with all of the services that I get there. The salon is always very welcoming and friendly, and it has a great energy to it. Stacey has been taking care of me for all this time and is so professional and talented and a lovely person as well. All of the staff have excellent training and take care of the clients at such a high level. I always feel very appreciated and I really enjoy my experiences here. I recommend them so highly and know I will be a client for many years to come.

My mom and I decided to switch salons after decades, and we couldn’t be happier! I go to Canvas and Elan (Canvas' sister salon) for color, cuts, and styling, and always have an amazing experience. My mom sees Stacy for her color and cut, and she’s never been happier; so talented. Becca, who assists Stacy, is also such a delight to be around. Kellie Johnson, the owner, has done an incredible job growing her salons in Spring Lake. She is a visionary. We also love Susan and the front desk team—they’re always so friendly and helpful! Treated like royalty from the time we arrive to the time we depart. They know my Nespresso coffee order by heart and we are always greeted with a personalized sign with our names welcoming us back to the salon.

Stacy has been my stylist for years. When I heard she was promoted and would be heading up Canvas by Elan, the sister salon to Elan Studio in Spring Lake, I was thrilled for her and the business. Canvas by Elan is a serene space with the friendliest staff, filled with Davines products, imported from Italy. From the moment you walk in, you are pampered. From Prosecco to Cappuccino, little nibbles to sample and comfortable seating to melt into, Canvas by Elan goes all out to make you feel relaxed. That’s all before your services have begun! Aromatherapy massage is included in your shampoo and conditioning treatment. I always get a color and cut, which is always followed by the best blow out! It lasts for 3 days! I’ve had updo’s and professional makeup applications for special events done here as well. I won’t go anywhere else. I encourage you to treat yourself and book an appointment!

I never write reviews but seriously I had the most amazing experience with Susan and I had to share. We had her do makeup for a bridal party I was in for my friends wedding and it was the best makeup I have ever had. We ALL felt so so so beautiful, confident, and comfortable even with a full face on (sometimes makeup makes me feel claustrophobic! haha). Susan was early to arrive, comforting, hilarious, and really truly talented. I need a masterclass!!! Thank you Elan Bride and Canvas!!!

The intimate environment of Canvas by Elan creates a professional yet comfortable setting. The atmosphere is welcoming and each stylist has their own technique and personality. You walk out of Canvas not just looking beautiful, but knowing you are beautiful. Your cut is perfect and your color is bold and inviting. I can’t wait for my next visit!!!
