I was a bit concerned about finding a hairstylist that would be able to manage my hair type and length. However from the minute I walked into the salon I didn’t feel out of place, warm atmosphere. I had the pleasure of having Mario do a shampoo, blowout and press on my hair, and I was absolutely thrilled with the results! I have gone back numerous times. Despite having tight, curly hair that usually requires a lot, Mario managed to give me a sleek, smooth finish that lasted for weeks. The blowout was flawless, and the press left my hair feeling soft and shiny without any frizz. Mario really knows his craft—he took his time, was meticulous with EACH step, and made sure my hair looked its best. I’m amazed at how well it held up even in humid conditions. Highly recommend Mario if you're looking for a professional who truly understands how to manage and style hair!

Do not go to this salon. Aside from the owners, the others are incredibly inexperienced. I had the worst haircut of my life. I tried to fix it myself and I did a better job than the person who did my hair. I was recommended to make an appointment with the owner, which I did. He however had those who work for him take all his appointments. I ended up with hair that looks like it was cut by a four year old.

I got a basic manicure with Maria who did a wonderful job! I appreciated that she made sure my polish was completely dry before I left so they wouldn’t chip or wrinkle!

Mario is the truly the best. His haircuts are always so well done and his blowouts are just as good. Over the years that I've been going to him my hair health has improved and I always leave with my hair feeling healthier, fuller and shinier. Couldn't recommend more!

I have been getting my hair cut by Mario for almost a year now and he always does a phenomenal job! I always walk out feeling and looking great. I like that they offer online scheduling and the prices are great. I will keep coming back.

Mario Tito did my hair and he did an amazing job with it. He really took care of me and he gave me just what I wanted. I told him that I wanted to keep my hair long but still have a butterfly haircut and he did just the thing. The place was extremely welcoming and comforting and I was so relaxed I almost fell asleep as they washed my hair! I am very happy to have had Mario and always make appointments for a new hair do!

Ruined my hair for my photoshoot. I showed a picture and he said he can do it, and half way through I asked again to confirm and he said yes it will be like it and it’s important to him, then continues and gives me the worst curls in my life. And my engagement shoot is ruined. Waste of money and time

UPDATE: I am leaving my original review up but changing the rating to five stars because of how the salon handled things. They called me and apologized again for the cut, gave me a refund, and offered several free trims to help the cut grow out ok. I understand that the guy who cut her hair was new and still learning, and hopefully he will do a better job of listening to customers in the future (although I will probably still only book with Serge going forward). Mistakes happen and I am glad to know that they care about doing their best to make things right with their customers. — ORIGINAL REVIEW: I hate to write this review because my toddler has gotten two great haircuts here, but her last one was a disaster. I do not know the name of the man who cut her hair, but he did not listen to anything we wanted and ended up turning my daughter’s adorable bob into a super short, boyish bowl cut despite me asking him to just trim the back and her bangs and to leave the rest long. When I tried to ask him to make it less straight around, he only kept cutting everything shorter and shorter. Eventually Sergey came out and did his best to fix the damage, but the first guy had already cut off so much hair that there was very little left to work with. I waited a few days before writing this review because I am not usually the type to complain about a mediocre haircut, but I have literally been crying over this cut now for days and I felt like I should say something. Be careful who cuts your child’s hair here. Sergey is great but I will never trust any of the other staff with my daughter’s hair again. In hindsight, I also feel like it was wrong for them to charge me for the cut even though they did spend a long time on it. I’m still very sad about this experience, but I haven’t really found a better place for a very young child’s haircut in this neighborhood.

I go here for Mario and he is the best! I’ve tried a lot of different hair salons in the area and Mario has been the best by far. He is incredibly professional and kind with a great sense of style. Over the years, he’s given me several different hair styles, sometimes including balayage and I’ve loved all of them. I always walk out of here feeling refreshed and confident.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! Capulet offers a warm and professional atmosphere with top-tier stylists. I highly recommend Mario, especially if you have textured hair. I’ve had my hair cut by him four times, and each time I’ve been thoroughly impressed by his expertise. He has an incredible ability to understand exactly what style you’re looking for, often without needing much direction. I can confidently say he’s the best stylist I’ve ever had and truly excels at working with different hair textures.

If you’re a mom or not :) and happen to have a free morning!! you deserve it you know, right?! This place is amazing to go to!! Great mani/pedi’s !! Russian way, who’s knows - knows ;)!! Amazing stuff! Unbelievable Head massage treat with the wash and dry, just ask:) and coffee!! What else to ask for!! Oh yes, maybe outfit shopping for your kiddos?!! I got it all in one!! Capulet’s Is a gem in Brooklyn Heights! Mario Tito is an excellent stylist, he makes magic out of my mess! He is great at color, cuts and blowouts (see picture) and he’s also a total sweetheart. Everyone is super friendly and accommodating, Julia the receptionist is so lovely and Serge the owner is fantastic. It’s a great salon that I’m so glad I discovered!

I found Capulet’s during the pandemic and have been so pleased with their services and staff. Owners Sergey and Anastasia always greet me with a warm smile and are so accommodating, and Mario always does a great job cutting and styling my hair. Capulet’s is my go-to salon, and I have recommended it to many friends.

Mario Tito has been cutting my hair for two years at Capulet’s Salon and he has been fantastic. When I started going to him, I had a shorter cut, but told him I wanted to grow out my hair. He neatly cleaned up the short parts with clippers and maintained the length I wanted—all in a style that lasted. Since then, he’s helped me grow out my hair past my ears, while keeping it looking clean and styled! In addition to a great haircut, he always provides knowledge and recommendations on how to care for my hair. The salon is very clean and comfortable, and everyone is kind and friendly. I feel lucky to have found Mario and always look forward to coming back!
