I bought my girlfriend a deep tissue massage ( Extra Charge ) with Amber at 6pm today Saturday. When she came out very disappointed because the massage was extremely soft, slow and no pointed pressure. When we called the girl at the counter she confirmed it was a deep tissue massage just apologized for the confusion and stated that some people are better than others without offering any other option. The experience was unexpected because we are a return customer and had a better experience prior.

Glitches within the establishment January 2025 First time visit to this establishment - I booked two massage's - a reflexology and a deep tissue. My reflexology massage was done by Rebun and he was GREAT - taking time asking me "If I was ok" throughout the massage. He lightened up on applying pressure to certain areas when asked - which I was grateful for. When he worked on my foot - I asked him to apply extra pressure to release stress in my foot - and it was AMAZING! My room was warm and cozy along with the blankets. My disappointment came when my first massage was over and I was asked to wait in a small waiting space for my next massage. I was provided with a ROBE (WHICH WAS NOT FOR A WOMEN WITH CURVES), resulting in me running to the bathroom to change into my clothing attire. I was scheduled to have my massages back-to-back, and that did not happen. They pushed my time out 30 minutes (which was not working for me). After the staff realized the error they caused, with how they scheduled me, the manager spoke with me to remedy the error. In efforts for me to not feel rushed, I rescheduled my 2nd massage and was told that I would be provided with wine and cheese platter at my next visit. My recommendations for this establishment are: 1. review the scheduling clearly before booking customers who request more than one massage on a visit. 2. Provide robes for curvy women..... (XL or XXL) 3. Offer snacks to customers...... I've been to many spa's and they all offer a pleather of snack items to customers (to include, water, wine, cheese boards and other snacks, etc) - surprised that I wasn't offered anything (outside of the error made by the establishment). 4. Make the waiting area for customers going from one service to another, a more comfortable - friendly environment with better seating. 5. Extend a courtesy call to clients the day before their appointments. I am willing to give this spa one more try - as I know glitches happen..... I'm hopeful that my next experience will be better than my first. If not, I will be looking for a different SPA to frequent.

My first time visiting was good i did a couples massage with my friend and I so I decided to book again for my birthday. I booked a massage and a facial this time because I just knew that it would be just as great as my first experience. WELL I WAS WRONG… the esthetician that did my facial was 10mins late and during the facial it felt very rushed. She finished 20mins early even though I booked for an 1hr facial. I immediately went to the front desk just to double check how long they had me booked for and they confirmed it was supposed to be an hour. I told the receptionist that it was unacceptable and she said she would speak with the manager. After my massage I went back up to the receptionist to pay and waited for her to acknowledge the issue but she never did and was going to let me pay full price knowing that the esthetician did not give me my full time booked. I spoke up after I realized she was never going to mention the issue and asked if she spoke with the manager. She said she did and that they would only offer a free add on or $10 off. I said thats completely unacceptable! I spoke with the manager and she did comp the service but the issue is the fact that I expressed how the esthetician rushed my service and they even confirmed that it was rushed but then still tried to make me pay full service If I would have never spoke up! The receptionist was NEVER even going to mention the add on or $10 off to me until I said something. I will never visit this spa again because this experience put a bad taste in my mouth and actually ruined my birthday my service wasn’t relaxing at all and I was treated awful. I’m also an esthetician and I have NEVER rushed a clients service. She made sure she was on time for the white client she has agreed me though, how ironic. My service gets rushed just so she can be on time for her white client. Terrible business!

I highly recommend booking a session with all the massage therapists at Caribbean Mystique Spa! They took exceptional care of me and provided one of the best massage experiences I've ever had. I can be quite particular about my massages, but they are attentive, skilled, and truly understood how to address my specific needs. August 2024: Jenny delivered!! The best massage I’ve ever had! There’s literally nothing else I can say and I don’t know how I missed out on this therapist for so long. I could cry that this was my last massage in Florida. Thank you so much. 120 minutes was the cherry on top, Jenny was the whipped cream (you don’t know you’re missing out until you get her)… thank you Caribbean Mystique for taking great care of us for the last few years. I’m saddened because I now have to find a new place and the bar has been set SO HIGH! October 23’: Janice manages this beautiful establishment and reached out after my review of my last experience here. She has always been patient, kind and understanding. She has also always been customer oriented and treated me as such when she spoke with me on the phone. She stressed how my experience was not normal and was apologetic. She coordinated an appointment and scheduled with one of her best masseuse and completely changed how I felt about coming back. I cannot stress enough how extraordinary that can make a consumer feel. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ service across the board. I cannot rave about this establishment enough and I’m glad that my 2 previous experiences did not sour how I felt about a place that has always been diligent about taking care of their customers. Thank you so much Janice🫶🏾🥹. September 23’: Really upset at how this place treated me after years of service with them and recommending this establishment to others. I scheduled a massage for today but was then told my appointment was not on the books. My last service in September was lackluster and I’m not sure why the person massaging was even hired on here, albeit he seemed new. The new faces at the front desk staff were not caring and slightly condescending. I came expecting to be wowed and taken care of like usual hoping that my last experience was a fluke but left instead with a migraine and embarrassed in front of several guests and saddened close to tears for wasting my time. UPDATE: I’m a member!! This place is STILL AMAZING and the new location is wonderful! I would tell you who takes care of me but they might get over booked when I want to come..lol. You can’t go wrong here! Years and years ago: This is a golden spot! If you’ve never been, you’re not only paying too much for your massages but you’re playing yourself! Best 90 min massage ever!! Couples massages were on point.

Disappointed scheduled a massage for two next day. Celebrating our anniversary and got a babysitter for the kids. Next day they said they should’ve never scheduled us and that it was an error. However, they recovered nicely and found a way to accommodate us and offered a free add on. I will always recommend this place. Thank you

My husband and I visited for our anniversary and did a couples massage. Linda and Damaris were our masseuses and did a phenomenal job. I had several knots and so much tension in my upper back that Damaris was able to get out. I left feeling so much more loose! By the sound of husbands snoring I could tell he too felt relief! They provided us with some feedback after our massage which was also helpful. Thank you both for a great first visit!

I loved this place. I've been to a lot of massage places and this place is great. It takes the Caribbean and brings you to it to relax. Themed rooms for different islands. The massage therapists were very thorough and hit every tense area. Highly recommend here. We got a couples relaxation massage. Then added a facial for my wife and foot massage for me. I was so relaxed I could have been wheeled out of there. We had a great time and already scheduled our next visit.

Highly reccomended. The setup is very well thought out. Each room is a different country. Front desk is professional. Each room has its own music...my massage therapist was extremely professional and very educated and told me in detail about my specific body tightness and massaged me in depth. I have had many massages and this is in my top 2 out of many massages from a variety of places! They make you pay ahead if you call for an apt but their membership is not like other places They don't automatically pull from your account every month. I finally found a massage place I want to stay a member of. I'm gifting everyone a foot massage from this. You don't know you need it till you get massaged!

Total payment upfront is absolutely crazy! My wife and I are recently retired military….. experienced spas all around the world and I have never been hung up on or required to submit payment in full before an appointment. Was literally hung up on without warning after inquiring about the policy. This happened today, 06-01-2024 @ approx. 1245hrs EST. Tampa location. DO NOT RECOMMMEND

Went in for a prenatal massage and had Deshara. She was AMAZING! This was my first prenatal massage, she made me feel very comfortable and applied the right amount of pressure to get my stubborn knots. She had me positioned in a way that was very comfortable; she eased all my nerves regarding safety during a prenatal massage. I can really tell she loves what she does and strives to make everyone feel well taken care of and comfortable! Will definitely be back!

Wow. Absalom. I have had many massages in my life. Absalm by far was the best when it comes to providing a therapeutic experience. I’ll be back.
