I 100% can recommend this location. Chi is both wonderful to talk to and extremely fast and efficient cutting hair. I was able to schedule a same-day appointment, but she's so efficient there would be a good chance you could walk in at any time. A cost-effective, great haircut that's worth your patronage!

I love Carkeek Hair so much! You can tell it is family owned and been around for a long time. I usually have to call ahead because they are busy. Great and professional women’s cut for a good price (hard to find cheap cuts in Seattle that are quality).

Women's haircut prices have gone out of control in seattle but not here at Carkeek hair! Owner is Chi and her husband and daughter help cover front desk. Chi is fast and great. She gets what I was looking for in a haircut right away and did an awesome job! I showed her pictures and she did exactly what I asked for. Dry cut is the way to go to save money and be time efficient when Seattle's average women's haircut prices are $70-100. In case you were wondering, Chi speaks great English and is very experienced. Family/neighborhood hair place. Walks ins are welcome I believe as I was able to get a haircut right away around noon on a Saturday.

If you tell her what you want, you will get it exactly every time. She doesn’t spend so much time on your hair, but the results are usually good :)

It's a great place to get a good haircut for a decent price. I have long hair, and she does a great job trimming bangs and long layers.

We bring our son here for walk- in appointments. He has thick long hair. In the past, we have received nice haircuts. This time was rushed. I always bring a photo and my son’s hair looks nothing like the photo. The right side was chopped and the back was left so long. He looks like he has a mullet. I am so disappointed. When I walked in, I asked her husband if she had time to cut my son’s hair. He said yes and I did notice that she was not talking to us at this appointment and rushing. Nearing the end of cutting my son’s hair, someone walks in and sits down like they had a scheduled appointment. I’m so upset that I was told they had time when in fact they did not - therefore she butchered my son’s hair. Not only that, she comments on how long my son’s hair is and it’s in a way that is poking fun at him. I will never come back here. This is not great business practice and at $30 for a kid’s hair cut - plus $8 tip. I would expect a good haircut and for him to be treated fairly.

The barber is not well trained. She doesn’t even know how to add layer or make my hair thinner with just the normal haircut scissors (thinning scissors makes my hair have split ends). When I ask her, she seems rude. Not recommend won’t be coming back.

The best haircuts I've ever had. And the fastest. The owner knows exactly what she's doing and doesn't waste time or money on the less permanent aspects of a trip to the salon. If you want a lux salon afternoon, go to a $$$ place that is full of pendant lights. If you just want to look fabulous rn, go here and be out the door in 20 minutes.

They always do me hair just right and they take care to make sure you're satisfied. I'm gonna make this my regular spot because they pay attention to detail. My mom went here for years before she passed and when I was younger she used to take me here to have my hair done. So I think I've found my hair spot and even though I'm moving soon I'll travel a little further just to come here and have my hair done right. 10/10
