I just had my first ever eyebrow wax along with a brow and lash tint, and Maya made it an easy and enjoyable process. She was lovely to talk to, which put me at ease, and also was patient and caring throughout the processes, explaining what the steps were and checking in to make sure I was OK. I am super happy with the results and definitely will be going back again!

This is a review for brow shaping with Maya. Maya was so thorough and meticulous with my eyebrows. I use a topical retinoid so I can’t get waxing done. With tweezers alone she shaped and trimmed my brows to perfection. I’ll be back for sure.

If you are looking for a treat for your skin and soul, make an appointment at Carrie Lindsey Beauty. They have a Manhattan and a Brooklyn location, but even though I live in Manhattan I subwayed to the Ft. Greene location. As soon as I stepped in I felt relaxed and welcomed, offered water and curled up in a comfy chair until it was "my turn", The front room is beautifully curated with jewelry and products. I booked my appointment with Carrie herself, but have heard from others that all the staff are equally as excellent. The facial went way beyond the usual cleaning and "masks'. From extractions to massage to LED light and cold stone rub, my face went through it all. And if that wasn't heaven, Carrie massaged my neck and shoulders - which really needed it! Carrie doesn't "push products" even when I asked what I should use. Instead she gave me a couple samples to try. She is lovely and she has developed a great team. Definitely will be back.

I’ve been going to Carrie Lindsay for over a year now for their waxing services and Jenny is an absolute star! She has helped me grow back the thickness in my eyebrows and has also been so incredibly helpful in recommending amazing products to help with my skincare concerns. She goes above and beyond to answer my questions and help me improve my skincare routine and also does an amazing job on my eyebrows! Couldn’t recommend her and this business enough!

I’ve been looking for a new brow spot in Brooklyn and I’ve found it! Interior is gorgeous and clean and the brow shaping with Maya was amazing. She’s super sweet and my brows have never looked better.

I loved my facial! It lifted the muscles of the forehead so i felt like my eyes were much more open. Also Carrier’s buccal massage released a lot of tension in my jaw for the surgery i had in past, never felt so good before - my jaw stopped to do weird sound and is not getting blocked anymore. Also i got some creams which i am totally in love with. Definitely will go again when back to NYC

I called Carrie Lindsey to purchase gift certificates for my two daughters and son in law. I did not want to do it online because an email is sent to the recipient, I wanted to surprise the kids. The young woman who helped me was so kind and helpful. She took all the information and sent me the gift cards. She picked beautiful cards for me and everything arrived on time. My favorite treat ever - this place is a real gem, as is Carrie herself. I dream about the sculpting facial…but even popping in for eyebrows is a real boost ;). Everyone who works here is lovely and profesh, and very, very good at what they do.

I don't usually write reviews but I've been going to this spa on and off for several years. Recently I've been seeing Catherine for facials and she is a skincare goddess!!! Even post-extractions (which she does quickly and as gently as possible) and having rosacea, my skin is super glowy and clear, not blotchy at all. The vibe of Carrie Lindsey Beauty is super lovely and calm, minimalist and expertly curated. Love having this place nearby.

I visited CL for a facial with Rachel and it was such a lovely experience. Rachel has a very soothing touch and catered to my specific skin and its sensitivities. I left looking roughly 5 years younger (😂) and have noticed my skin continues to look improved, even a few weeks out. She also recommended products for me, which I have been loving and seeing results from! From the staff in the front, to the vibes and decor, and of course the facial, it was an 11/10 experience. I'll be back!

Went here for a brow tweeze a few weeks ago and had a generally good experience, except that I had a few scabs from what I assume was pulled skin. I've never experienced that before, and it didn't really hurt, but it was noticeable for a few days.

This is the only place I’ll go to get waxed or any beauty treatments, really. The care taken, genuine human exchanges and the quality of the services keep me coming back year after year, even after I moved out of the neighborhood.
