I will follow Noemie to the ends of the earth. She’s hands down the best colorist I’ve ever worked with. It’s always an amazing experience every time I come in, regardless of which service I’m get. I love it that she educates me and works with me to achieve any look i want, while always maintaining the integrity of my hair. A true artist and professional. The best of both worlds.

This is, by far, the best salon I have found in the south side of Chicago. I have been going to Noemie for a couple of years, and she does an amazing job maintaining my curly hair. I get a Brazilian blowout, which leaves my hair extremely soft, loosens the curls, and eliminates frizz. I highly recommend this salon!

Extremely Happy! Had extensions clipped in and styled by Juan who not only is amazing at what he does, but so polite too. The owner of the salon took me in last minute on a whim as I am from out of town and was looking for a last minute booking. So thankful she was able to accommodate me. Highly recommend Carta Blanca!!!

Found Salon Carta Blanca last year and so happy that I did! I was very impressed with my initial visit and how thorough they were with the consultation. They listened and understood what I was seeking and guided and made recommendations along the way. I've been coming back for a year now, every 6 to 8 weeks for toners and touch up services and hope to never have to go find another stylist because Noemi and Rubio are the best!

I love everything about Salon Carta Blanca, they have the absolute best hair artists and the best apprentices/workers all the time. I am writing a long post because I am over due from writing one the last 3 years I am so faithful to them I truly trust them with my hair. I first went in November 2020, as I was looking for a professional that could work with my thick Hispanic hair and achieve looks of my dreams. I am so happy with my decision of choosing this team as I always walk out feeling brand new and beautiful! They were able to take me from dehydrated long hair, to bringing my hair back to life, I was so discouraged to try to dye it, but Noemi motivated me to give this a change! Noemi is a hair color master artist and specializes in Latina/Hispanic hair and formulated her magic and created a balayage to pair perfect with the hair cut. As I have curly/wavy hair, I had need been left with a clean, pretty cut, I always felt people who had not worked with my hair texture would leave me not happy wearing my hair naturally. Rubio made this change, he took this challenge and it was not a challenge to him, he even gave me the cleanest and prettiest bob that restored my hair, made it grow so often, and he would even maintenance it, and I am so grateful he would be to be patient with having me maintain this look with my natural waves and styled differently, I could wear it however and it looked amazing! They both are truly the dynamic duo when it comes to styling and color! Ever since then, every time I see Noemi work her color art, I want to try every color she comes out with that is in season, she makes them look SO good! What I love about Noemi and her team, they are very personable and genuine and get to know their clients. This allows us to be open with the ideas we have, but also allows them to keep it real with us of what is manageable, realistic with our hair and they DELIVER your dream! I wanted to try a bright red color and we transitioned into red earlier this year and brought it up to maintenance this weekend and I now have a spicy beautiful red look and I am so in love with it! I have a very busy/transitional schedule and Noemi is so approachable that she was able to formulate this red hair look on me, and with the correct hair maintenance education it is also a hairstyle that adapts with my lifestyle and maintenance habits! I am really grateful for all the hair education they have provided me, to use the correct hair products even when I am out of the salon to keep my hair healthy and beautiful! They are an amazing team and I will always highly recommend them! I definitely have a way better relationship with my hair ever since I met them. 1000/1000

Noemi and Rubio are the best! They make you feel welcome as you walk in . I reach out to Noemi over 4 years ago for help! My hair was damage and needed some love. She brought my hair back to life after the first visit. Since then, I only trust Carta Blanca with my hair. Recently, I added extension for length and Rubio match my color to perfection. David is an expert on hair extensions; for fuller and longer luscious hair. Cuts are also his prerogative, he has an eye for your specific face frame and neckline for a personalized haircut. Noemie is a color queen! She’s honest when it comes to what is expected for a complete color change. She’s an expert in balayage and dimensional colors. They also provide various hair treatments and your everyday fabulous blowouts. All in all they both work great together in completing your ideal look and most of all the integrity of your hair. 10/10

Honestly you can’t get better service than what is offered here. It’s very personal, Noemie and her husband are so welcoming and you can tell they care about their clients. They take care of you and your hair! This is truly the only place I’ve always walked out of happy because of the experience, the quality of their work, and my hair always slays after being in Noemie’s chair.

I've been going to Noemi for years! I don't trust just anyone with my hair. I'm never worried about how my hair will turn out when I go see her for a haircut or hair coloring. I appreciate her knowledge and her determination to keep learning. She will educate you on how to care for your hair and what looks best in terms of cut and color to achieve the look you are going for which I appreciate as well! Rubio and Carla are awesome too! I came to Noemie after multiple failures at different salons. Noemie was very welcoming and knowledgeable and knew just what I needed. From hair color to haircut to hair care, she knows it all. She will educate you on what products to use to care for your hair after and will leave your hair glossy and shiny and just beautiful. The experience at this salon was amazing, highly recommend to book here for any service!!!!

I have been coming to Noemie for years. She is the best of the best. She has patiently worked with me over time to achieve my hair goals as they changed and only does it with professionalism and the upmost care. I came to her wanting to be blonde while I had only ever dyed my hair with DARK BROWN BOX COLOR! I had limited experience with not only hair care but the beauty industry overall. She takes the time to get to know you and educates you while making you feel great about yourself. Being in her chair is one of favorite places to be! Salon Carta Blanca embodies both Noemie and her husband Rubio who are an amazing team. The Salon is always clean, light, and is just a great place to be. I could go on and on on how much I love her and her salon. I also have to commend Noemie and her team on how they have shifted gears during the Covid-19 pandemic. The measures she has taken exceeds industry standards. She has been able to safely navigate her business and created an entire new process to purchase kits and products during the lockdown.

I tried scheduling a hair color at this salon because they are in my neighborhood and I saw some reviews on here that seemed great. I did have trouble scheduling an appointment due to the pandemic which I understood. I did follow the salon on Facebook and in turn was able to see posts and stories. I sent a long message early in the day to tell her that I was considering having some grey blending done to my hair but was not sure. I was not expecting a reply at 11 p.m. at night. While on Facebook I noticed on her posts and stories that she was on vacation having drinks at the same time that I got my reply. In her reply she explained to me that she sees herself as a "hair doctor" and said that my hair needed more work and that she did not do grey blending she only did "blonding" 🤷 ok fine her specialty. I did submit a picture to her which in retrospect was not a good picture of my hair so I understand if I scared off this "hair doctor" but I still find it very unprofessional that she would reach out to me at 11 p.m. AND while she's having drinks and dinner on vacation with friends meanwhile posting her stories on fb. You would think she would try to sell me on some of her products or her other services to help get a potential "hair patient" scheduled but there was none of that no words of advice nor expertise given no consult no form of helping to educate so of course I did not bother to call back either.

I absolutely love Salon Carta Blanca. I began my journey with Noemi back in January 2016 and let me tell you my hair was at it’s worst. What I loved about Noemi is that she took the time to educate me about proper hair care and planned out my long term hair goals. I gave Noemi a tough project but she changed my life by introducing me to the Brazilian blow out. My hair is thick frizzy and unmanageable and it was an absolute nightmare getting ready. Thanks to the Brazilian Blow Out I’m able to shower and go, for a mom of 3 it’s totally worth the investment. I’ve been religiously getting the treatment every 3-4 months however lately I’ve noticed I can push it to every 5-6 months. Thanks to her knowledge guidance my hair is in the BEST shape it’s ever been. I could go on about how amazing she is with hair color but all you have to is go on her instagram and her transformations speak for themselves. I love salon Carta Blanca & their entire team!

I just had my babygirl 6 months and I was in need of a mommy makeover! I found this salon on IG and immediately, I was impressed. Noemie was super sweet, very knowledgeable, professional, and over all made me feel super comfortable. I am extremely happy with my hair and the fact that she wants me to f/u in 6 weeks to check the status of my hair makes me feel that she cares about my needs and wants. Samantha and Rubio were also great. Everyone worked as a team and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I recommend anyone to book an appt with them! You won’t regret it!

I started my hair journey at Salon Carta Blanca in November of 2019. I came in for a Brazilian Blow out and a haircut. I was not only looking for an amazing place to do my hair and walk out feeling amazing but I was also looking for more than just a Hair Salon ,a place where I feel like my needs are being met, a place where I am comfortable, and a place where I feel fabulous every time I walk out of the door. Noemi ,Rubio and Sam are extremely professional. Even better extremely talented at everything they do. My hair journey started growing my baby hair at the front of my face while continuing to do A deep conditioning every 3 weeks (that's the scalp treatment) . I was very afraid but very willing to try because I have psoriasis (patches on my head too). When I let them know that I had psoriasis they knew exactly what product would be suitable for me. I saw their confidence, and I knew I was in the right place. I felt very comfortable they treated me professionally with products that did not burn or damage my scalp. I feel and I know that my hair is growing. I also started using the product that was suggested.When I bought the product after my 1st deep conditioning I really saw a difference. I started to use it after my 2nd treatment. My over all scalp has improved extremely I no longer have a dry patch at the front of my head. My scalp has improved. Really listening to their advice about my hair, following what they told me to do. Things like not washing my hair every day (I know smh) it has overall improved my hair texture my hair length and my baby hair growth.(I really saw the difference after I used the correct product and followed tips on washing my hair) I am very happy and I know that we will have a long relationship from here on out everybody is great and the place is beautiful so comfortable you feel like you are at a spa.

Last year I made one of the best decisions of my life when I decided to contact Noemie. Her interview e-mail alone set her apart from anything I had ever experienced before, which was very impressive because it showed she wanted to get to know my hair before even working with it! Her knowledge on coloring hair is amazing, and the fact that she fully explains what you will be getting done makes you know you are in the hands of a true professional! I will never go to anyone else and I sing her praises any time I can. I receive so many compliments on my hair, and I always make sure to let people know who is responsible for it (although a part of me wishes I can keep her as my little secret!). This place is absolutely amaizing! I used to go to Mario Tricoci and could never get my hair cut right. I’ve now been here to see David three times and every single time is absolutely perfect. If you guys have never been here, I suggest you give them a try because you WILL NOT be disappointed. Always a great experience! Thank you David!
