I just had my first visit/service at Casagrande and i LOVED it! Laiz (owner and stylist) is amazing - she really listened and she gave great advice on products but also curly hair best practices. it’s the first curly cut i’ve ever had where my hair didn’t end up super heavy with over applied product. i randomly came across her name on reddit and am so glad i did! i will be recommending Laiz and Casagrande to all my curly haired friends!!!

I had a great experience at Casagrande Salon! I would recommend a haircut with Laiz who takes her time, provides great recommendations, and ensures she gives you the best service. Laiz eased my anxieties and I walked out of the salon excited about my haircut. Additionally, the salon is hijabi friendly and there is a private room in the back where hair can be cut if you need it! Laiz made me feel very comfortable! This was my first time at Casagrande Salon, but it certainly won't be my last.

I just started going to Laiz for curly haircuts and she's great! She understands curls and how to cut them. She's friendly and fun to be around during the appointments, and very knowledgeable about hair. She also has great tips on products and techniques that I can use at home to bring out the best in my hair.

I’m really happy that I found Laiz. I usually leave a bit disappointed after getting a haircut because often times, I don’t get what I asked for. I have curly hair and I sometimes straighten it so I’m a bit particular about my haircuts. But I loved my haircut and I appreciated her attention to details. Laiz comes across as such a light and caring person. You can tell that she truly loves what she does and she wants to help others who may struggle with hair/scalp issues.

Laiz was absolutely wonderful! She was super professional, communicative, provided great tips on how to maintain and care for my curly hair. I really enjoyed my visit with her and would recommend her to anyone. Also, her salon is spacious and beautiful. A gem in NYC :) Obrigada Laiz!

Laiz is wonderful! I was in hair transition and needed to finish removing the chemistry from my hair. Laiz took care of my hair, did the cut and taught me how to finish my curly hair. Impeccable service. I loved it 🥰 Laiz e maravilhosa! Estava em transição capilar e precisava terminar de tirar a química do meu cabelo. A Laiz cuidou do meu cabelo, fez o corte e me ensinou a finalizar o meu cabelo cacheado. Atendimento impecável. Amei 🥰

I had an amazing experience at this salon! It was my first time getting color, and I was super nervous about it. But Camilo totally put me at ease, walked me through everything, and completely blew me away! Not only did he give me a fantastic haircut and stunning color, but he's also just a really awesome person!

Finally found: A salon who listens! As a curly haired guy I am always apprehensive about a haircut, but knew I’d be in good hands when I saw the two clients before me looking amazing and very happy. Really lovely stylists, Bruno and Laiz were both very attentive and understanding. Took care of the small details, gave great advice and showed me how to style and manage my hair best at home. Laiz ( Casagrande Salon) has been taking care of my long curly hair for 10 years now. She is very knowledgeable, thoughtful of her clients, and compassionate about her mission as a hair professional. In the last 10 years since I met Laiz, I have had zero scalp or hair loss issues. I transitioned from Botox/Keratine to my natural curls under her guidance and it was an emotional but also very beautiful experience as she always supported me. Laiz is a specialist in curly hair and also in hair straightening. She is now my teenage hair stylist as well and I am happy. I recommend Casagrande Salon 10/10.

My stylist was amazing - they listened carefully and gave me a cut and style that exceeded my expectations. I’ve been to Casagrande multiple times and was always happy with the result. The team is welcoming and super talented. They have a blowout deal that you can’t miss. The location is great, right by Times Square and Bryant park. Highly recommend it.
