I went to Cat for the first time about 2 weeks ago. I have been struggling with my bangs for years! If I can count I’ve tried about 6 different times to cut bangs, once on my own and the other times by professionals. I was never able to explain what I wanted nor ever received what I had in mind. I explained this to Cat and was really excited to hear her input.. when I TELL YOU!! THESE ARE THE BEST BANGS I’VE EVER HAD! I have dark curly hair that I blow out as well as a STRONG part in my hair. They are still so amazing looking like the day I left and I can’t wait to go back to her again! She truly works magic! Thank you Cat!

Approximately one year ago I decided to part ways with my hairdresser of many years. A friend referred me to Cat Bailey and I have been forever grateful. Cat is a wonderful hairdresser. She’s professional, creative and talented. I’m always happy with the haircuts, color and blowouts I get from her. Cat’s goal is to make certain I am completely satisfied and happy before I leave her shop.

Cat has been cutting my hair for several years now.  Even though I've moved around a lot, I always try to find a way to see her in Culver City.  Even if I have to go over a year without getting my hair cut, I will wait until Cat can do it.  Even if I have to drive several miles (and I hate driving), I will.  Why? Cat is a magician!!  I don't know how she does it, but she manages to turn my once very flat (difficult to hold any style) hair into something amazing that's easy to manage!  The bottom has movement, the layers are perfect, and I recently got bangs (never had them before).  I was scared it would just lay flat because of my hair texture, but she did her magic and I love them! Each haircut (and I've had SEVERAL) has grown out beautifully!  I don't want to wait over a year for a new haircut, but I live kind of far away and so often don't have a choice.  I don't worry about it because again, it looks good even in the growing out stage. Besides being the most talented hairstylist I've ever had, she is a very kind, sweet, and patient person.  She spends time listening to what kind of style I want and always gives me good advice about how to take care of my hair.  Cat is truly an expert and an artist in her field!

Cat has been doing my hair for about 4 years now. I was very sceptical about changing my stylist after a long time and was fortunate enough to find Cat. She is amazing. She not only listens to what you want but she also shows genuine interest in doing your hair. I am terrible at deciding what I want doing. I also tend to book the shortest time and Cat never has a problem with staying longer making sure my hair is perfect before I leave. Her knowledge of color is amazing, she really does know how to.play with different fun colors, like blue, purple, silver. Her cut shows how professional she iis and always knows exactly what she is doing.

Cat is absolutely amazing. I am not very good at maintaining my haircuts, and Cat is always there for me when I come in and my hair is an overgrown mess. She makes it look spectacular, and cuts it in a way that makes it so easy to maintain, as she knows I’m not going to spend a lot of time on it. She is also a fascinating person to talk to. I’ve never enjoyed salon chat very much, but I could y’all to Cat all day long. And she cares so much about her clients. She always asks about my kids and job and partner, even if it’s been ages since I’ve seen her. She also does hair for both of my daughters, and was instrumental in helping my eldest when she was having some hair loss. She cut her hair in a way that hid the spots, but also took so much care to show her how to style it to minimize them. We we always be so grateful for that. From a scheduling perspective, her online scheduling is easy to use, accurate, and you can pay in advance! She’s on time, efficient, and creative. She mentions products to try, but is never pushy, and the ones I have tried have really been what I needed, Cat is the only person I will trust with my hair, and I highly recommend her services!

Cat is awesome and especially incredible with color! I had my hair highlighted before my wedding, at the place that was doing my wedding hair, but it wasn't done well. Cat worked wonders and made my color look great. I have seen her over the years for both cuts and highlights and have never been disappointed. Plus, she's s sweetheart and we always have a good time during my appointments.

Cat is the best! I'm very finicky about my hair. Before I started going to Cat I had my hair cut every 5 weeks on the dot, now I can go up to 3 months! Cat is the person I have been hoping to find to deal with my sometimes curly, sometimes wavy hair. It's the first time someone has really talked it through with me as she cuts a little, then dries it to see how curly it gets and then cuts more. To her it's more of an individual process and takes the time to walk me through it step by step. I really needed that as my hair is changing as I age. She has a natural style as she was a graphic designer and a lovely warmth that is so enjoyable to feel vulnerable with. I found her by noticing a wardrobe stylist's hair style I liked on a photo shoot. That says a lot. I trust her. I recommend her. A+

Cat's amazing!! I've been going to her for more than 10 years. New in town, I went to one hairdresser who made me look like an 80's reject and another who made me look like my mom. I was desperate when I saw her and have been a loyal customer ever since! Pretty much every time I go to her, I bring in different pictures that I want my hair to look like. She'll look through them and give me an honest opinion on what will work with my hair and face shape. Even though I have very fine, thin hair, she's always able to make it look thicker, with some bounce and body. Through the years, I've had different colors, both natural look and vibrant and different blondes, and highlights put in. She is a true artist in this department. My boys (teenagers now) who hate having to get their hair cut, have no problem going to her but also don't have to go too often! She has a knack of cutting that allows the hair to grow out really well. One of my boys will go six months without a cut and his hair always looks amazing! She is also the sweetest, most awesome person you'll ever meet! She loves a good chat but also has no problem leaving you to your thoughts if you want to be quiet. If you're thinking about making a change or are new in town, booking an appt. with Cat will be a decision you will never regret!

I've been going to Cat for 10 years, and she's the best stylist ever! Not only does Cat do a beautiful job on my color (roots, highlights, and lowlights), she also gives a great haircut! There’s no one else I’d trust my hair with...she always makes it look good, and is always honest with me.
