Was going to book through Groupon but your response to negative reviews is unacceptable. In one review you claim to be fully book yet you can't reschedule an appointment hours before because it was more than 24 hours. Especially when you claim other couples wanted to book. In another review you claim that they should have told you when leaving the establishment like that was going to change the experience. Anyway reviews matter and should be answered better or atleast an apology. I'll try elsewhere.

BUYER BEWARE. Do NOT book with this business. I purchased a Groupon for the Silver Couples Spa Package worth $450 as an anniversary gift for my boyfriend to celebrate us in a romantic setting. I scheduled my appointment for 1/20 at noon and confirmed. I did not expect for an unseen circumstance where I needed to call that morning to ask if I’m able to have a grace period and come in slightly later to accommodate my appointment. The merchant refused to provide a different time and also didn’t allow me to reschedule. This, marked my Groupon code as falsely “redeemed” although I did not get to enjoy the experience or attend and left me with no option of reschedule or refund. I contacted Groupon stating all of the above and the response from the business in their defense to NOT provide me with the refund I am entitled to was by lying. The merchant stated that I called 25 minutes before when I have receipts and proof that I called that morning at 9:50am to notify and attempt to recieve resolution and never ever anticipated such a conflict for an easy problem. All I need initially was to reschedule for a later time or date. My partner and I both work 9-5pm and this was the only day we had available and they couldn’t make a small adjustment. I am now fighting for a refund of over $300 that they refuse to give because of a 24 hour policy + buisness that lied.

Highly recommend. Walked in needing a colour correction and was not disappointed! Elba was fantastic, really knowledgeable on how to correct the mistake (from a different salon!) and was lovely. Great blow dry and finish. Would absolutely come back next time I’m in New York!

I had the most amazing Russian manicure and pedicure with Yesenia! Her attention to detail is unmatched, and the results were flawless. My nails have never looked so clean and perfectly shaped. She took her time to ensure everything was done to perfection, and her professionalism made the experience even better. This review is specifically about the person who takes calls here. I bought a Groupon for a manicure and called to make a simple appointment. I believe she misheard me, thinking I said my “my friend said to call.” She proceeded to be rude and talk down to me the entire call before I could even manage to make an appointment. Not sure how this business expects to gain customers if this is their behavior. Thankfully I was able to cancel the Groupon quickly.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and so tranquil. The staff greeted us with such kindness and professionalism, instantly putting us at ease. The massage itself was incredible—every detail was thoughtfully tailored to ensure both comfort and relaxation. The therapists were highly skilled, attentive, and in tune with our needs, creating a perfectly balanced experience for both of us. It was clear they genuinely cared about providing a memorable and rejuvenating session. The little touches—like the soothing ambiance, calming aromas, and post-massage refreshments—made the experience even more special. My wife and I left feeling not just relaxed, but deeply connected and refreshed. Catalia Wellness truly goes above and beyond to create a sanctuary for couples to unwind together. I have been visiting this salon for years. It has recently been remodeled and it looks beautiful. I have gotten services from Elba and Angela and I love them both. What a great salon in Midtown Manhattan. I highly recommend them.

I went to Catalia today and Avi truly saved my life!! I had a disastrous balayage gone wrong a couple days ago that left me with orangey brown hair instead of my usual blonde. It is a miracle how he was able to bring me back to my bright color that I wanted, without even damaging my hair further. I can not recommend enough and I am so so so thankful!!!! He does a beautiful job!

Came here with my son for a haircut for both of us and Avi did an amazing job! My hair takes very long time to grow but after his cut it started growing so much faster and healthier. He also styled my hair beautifully, sucks that im not going anywhere to show it off!

Catalia is the absolute best salon and spa in New York! Avi is an absolute pro and incredibly skilled in all aspects of styling from cut, to color to extensions. I always get compliments on my hair, even from other hair professionals who compliment his work. I am always greeted at the salon with a smile and excellent service. I trust the team implicitly and highly recommend them not just for hair but for all beauty services. The salon is high end, reasonably priced and beautiful while offering 3 floors of services. This place is a real find for NYC
