I first tried CedarHouse when my hair pro (Courtney, who is awesome) moved there from another establishment. They're great in every way! Very tasteful and attractive shop, courteous people caring for your comfort, and great haircuts! Really a great experience all around. It's an easy walk from Belltown or Lower Queen Anne. Highly recommended!

Catherine spends the time asking questions and listening to what you hope for and then gives you a haircut specific to your needs and hair type. Super custom experience! She’s also fun to talk to and hang out with, and makes booking and payment super easy. I’ll be back for sure!

I followed Megan from a previous studio. She has always made me feel safe and comfortable having her do my hair, I let her know I’d had some previous bad experiences at another salon. She’s always gone above and beyond to help me figure out the perfect color of blonde I’ve always been searching for and she nails it every single time. I love the color she creates and the consistency in which she provides is nothing but perfection. She really is a pure gift to us blondies!!

Megan was amazing!! I went in with a couple concerns about my hair and the style I wanted before going to a wedding later that day; Megan listed to what I wanted, was so kind and executed beautifully. If I lived in town I would absolutely be back!!

I drive an hour each way to see Catherine for my hair because she is THE BEST. My blonde always looks incredibly natural and grows out so well that I only have to get it done every 6 months or so. Highly recommend her!

I found CedarHouse Hair Studio by chance while walking my dog during an extended stay in Seattle. What a find Catherine has been! After my first services, I realized my style and highlights were lasting and I’ve received compliments on my hair like never before! Not only from friends and family but from strangers at pharmacy pickup and airport baggage claim. Now I’m scheduling stays in Seattle with my salon visits in mind. Catherine knows hair. Her work is exceptional!

I’ve been seeing Catherine for the last 5+ years and continue to receive amazing care from her! She gained my trust early on when I asked for minimal length to be taken off my long, wavy hair and unlike other stylists I’ve been to in the past (who take off WAY too much) Catherine magically kept the length while refreshing my ends. I appreciate her input when I want to change things up and her execution when I just want to maintain length. Catching up with Catherine during our sessions is always something I look forward to and I feel so grateful that I found her!

Catherine does spectacular work! My old balayage was chunky and brassy, and she transformed it into a beautiful, subtle, multidimensional brunette. And the cut is perfect too! She took her time and really listened to me. I felt like I was in good hands the whole time.

Catherine is AMAZING! I've seen her for about 2 years now and she nails it with my color every single time! My highlights have a tendency to go brassy but Catherine works her magic and somehow makes them look perfect each time. The result is a natural and flattering color. She's also great at cuts. It seems that usually a stylist is really good at one or the other (color or cuts) but she's great at both! A true artist. It also helps that she's kind and easy to talk to. I genuinely enjoy my appointments because she's fun to chat with. The salon is cute and the music she plays adds to the chill vibe. She's worth every penny. She's worth traveling to. She's just incredible.

Catherine is THE BEST. Service that I got from her is excellent. She listened to my color needs and provided me with the best option. She fixed my dull hair color, I came out super happy and she did all her work very gently. I would strongly recommend this salon. One thing that I am taking from Seattle is my experience at Cedarhouse because the place has great great vibes and for sure the salon is worth visiting for its ambiance.

This location has been such a God-send. The people who work there are incredibly kind and talented. The space itself is lovely, and it has the only shampoo bowls that don't make my neck ache. Quick, efficient, and I come out looking amazing and feeling confident.
