Have had a cut and color. Stylist understand what I wanted and was very honest and hope about what color would look like on me. Did a pedicure another time and was very friendly and took her time to ensure I had a relaxing experience.

Highly unrecommended! +Before & After pics w/proof of call right afterwards. Management & owners don't validate or correct negative experiences despite their own policies. Paid another salon to fix my hair before a job. 20 years as an Aveda customer with highlights/coloring in different cities for work & this is the 1st time I've experienced blending highlights & balancing color to be a problem. After 3 months of paying for highlights & getting the same results here despite having no issues at other salons before moving here for the same look, I called and requested a refund for my last visit within 7 days (pic attached). I had just spent $500 on their hair services & products in one month. Management/customer service offered no solution. Because of that, I will not return. I am now excited to explore non-Aveda salons for the first time since beginning to highlight/color my hair, and there are many other salons in Vegas with much higher reviews and customer satisfaction. Before Centennial Hills Aveda hair and after Centennial Hills Aveda hair pics included. No posts or photos (as stated by Aveda owner in their response) on any of my social media until I traveled to Los Angeles and paid to have my hair highlighted and styled there at a reputable salon before working a job in LA (and there was no discussion about my hair). The purpose of a refund request and a review is to share an experience and point of view, whether it was a positive or negative experience - that does not make it defamatory if the owner/management chooses to validate and acknowledge only the positive.

I have been coming here for some time and used to see Kayla, who I will say is a good stylist. However what I don’t appreciate is the fact that I have NEVER been late to an appointment, I have canceled 1x but today when I was 8 minutes late for my 2pm appointment with Kayla I was not given the same respect I have always shown her. I called at 2pm to tell them I was running a few minutes late because my therapy ran over. I live literally over the bridge from the salon, a maybe 3 minute drive. My husband also had an appointment and his stylist had no issue with us being a few minutes late. When the front desk asked Kayla she stated she would cut my hair but I’d have to leave with it wet. Look, I get it. I understand being overbooked, however she didn’t take her next client back until 3:20pm, as I was being finished up by Megan. I went in with my husband and asked for a walk in spot and Megan took me in. It was scheduled for 2:45pm and she grabbed me at 2:24pm. That means for the same hour I was with Megan I could have been taken by Kayla, but she didn’t want that I guess. Having spent nearly a year in her chair, tipping 20$ EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. On my haircut (65$) and never once being late but not being shown any courtesy fora one time situation of running late really rubbed me the wrong way. I could understand if I was chronically late, but I’m not. I’m usually 20-25 minutes early, but the one day I would like a little slack I’m treated like this. Yeah, it’s a pass for me. It would be one thing if she had a client immediately, but the fact that it was more than an hour before anyone was in her chair spoke volumes for me. Megan took me in, was friendly and professional and did an excellent job on my hair, which was a basic trim and bang cut and blow out. Overall I’m disappointed in the treatment I received from Kayla, but happy to have found another stylist who was willing to take me in same day and did a fantastic job.

I saw Kayla for a haircut. I have a LOT of wavy/curly hair but she gave me exactly what I asked for and was able to style my hair naturally without any issue. She was great and very communicative throughout the entire visit about what she was doing and why.

Yalice is amazing! She is very skilled and knowledgeable as she is a former salon owner and Aveda educator. I was looking for someone good at technical haircutting to fix a bad haircut I received elsewhere and she is exactly what I was looking for. I love my new cut and color! She is very patient, takes her time, and walked me through the entire process. I will definitely be back!

I was a regular at this salon… until today. I will not be going back…. I booked myself a pedicure, haircut and massage. The massage was so terrible that I just kept wishing it would end and I left with the worst haircut I have ever had. I went back to try and get my money back and the stylist offered to try and fix my cut. However, she just made it so much worse. I had a one length haircut and she gave me actual shelves. My hair is below my shoulders and the top layer has pieces as short as my pinky finger. She also cut my bangs so short they don’t go behind my ears anymore (I did not ask for this) and she made them so thick that it looks like a huge chunk of hair is missing from the side. The stylist admitted that the haircut was terrible and they still were refusing to refund my money. I stood there arguing with the guy at the front desk, but all he kept saying was “it’s not our policy to give refunds but I can give you 20% off your next service” as if I would want to go back! What happens if I get a bad service again? I’m just suppose to keep paying for terrible haircuts???….. eventually he ended up offering me half my haircut back (which is still not enough when I have to walk around for the next year looking like my daughter took scissors to my hair😭), and still no refund on the massage. Honestly, the only reason I am giving 1 star is because I have gotten my nails done here many times and it was good service, but I just can’t take the risk again. Especially with how expensive it is to get salon services done now days. Apparently a lasting bad review is more worth it to them than trying to make things right with their customers 😞

The massage was terrible! My MT kept falling asleep on me! I made my massage and hair appt a week in advance and they didn't have me scheduled! So disorganized! The only good experience for me was Yanice (hair stylist) she was amazing.

My daughter loves to get her hair done by Catherine. We have been seeing her for over a year now. They treat her so well. We decided to get manicures for the girls, and they were taken care of so well. I would take them here over a chop shop anyway of the week. The patience, care and respect they give to the children is above and beyond. It is what how we should all be treated. Thank you. We look forward to seeing you again for the daddy daughter dance.

The staff was so nice to me when I walked in and didn't have an appointment. I totally recommend and made my second appointment on the way out. For me, this nail salon is the shizzle! Been going to Centennial for many years always accommodating when you need an appointment. Deena is a very good hair stylish and very sweet.I recommend her highly .And a plus if you are a senior you get a 10% discount which is a great perk.

I went to this salon with the expectation to get a decent haircut at least. I figured they have good hair stylists that have some experience. I went there with long hair and told my stylist I want it below shoulder and NOT too short. She started cutting it from the back never double checked with me, not professional, rookie mistake. When you cut that much hair make sure you double check. She started cutting it from the back, obviously can not see how much she is actually cutting. Sure enough my hair is shoulder length, very big difference than what I wanted. Left a voicemail, nobody called me back to ask what happened. Extremely disappointed.

I have been coming here for years , specifically for KAYLA! She is absolute amazing not only as a stylist but in her education and knowledge of hair. She will spend the time to sit down with you and go over your hair , what you want, and be realistic of the time and outcome. You never walk out of there disappointed or surprised. And let me tell ya her BLOW OUTS. **Chef’s kiss ** unmatcheShe also has always recommended me products to help me in my hair journey that I TRULY use daily and needed rather than just trying to push product out. My hair growth and journey over the past few years with her speaks for itself. My hair hasn’t been this long or healthy in YEARS!

I've been using Aveda salons for over 15 years. I love them. I’ve never had a problem with any Aveda stylist, anywhere until this salon!! Serious retraining and quality control is needed for hair coloring/cutting and styling at this one! While I believe that not all stylist here may be as unskilled as what my friend and I have experienced, beware there is NO ONE providing supervision or quality control in this salon. . I carry my Aveda formula card with me so I can pop into any Aveda salon when I travel and get my 3week new growth touch up and can rock the same fantastic color. I called Centennial Hills Salon requesting one of their most experienced color experts for a three week new growth appt. I stated that I would have my Aveda formula with me. Went to this salon, the stylist looked at my formula and started to go to work. Throughout the appointment she asked how my previous stylist did my hair. I never had any stylist question me, they just did it. Once the formula was on my head, she asked how long does it stay on for? Seriously? You don’t know and you claimed to be an Aveda trained stylist? She truly didn’t know and this was in the evening and apparently there was no one to consult with! the result was just ok. I figured the next time, I would just get their color expert to fix it. Fast forward to the next new growth appointment. I explained what happened and that I really need the shops most experienced colorist. At the same time, I also made an appointment for a friend of mine for color and they also wanted the best cutter/stylist for wavy/curly hair who can look at a picture and cut their hair back into that style. . We had back to back appointments. WRONG! The stylist had my formula but I guess decided to leave out an ingredient. When I casually dropped that fact that if my formula isn’t mixed exactly, especially with the one key ingredient, that it would not turn out or match the rest of my hair, she immediately picked up my formula that she had just brought out from the back and said she’d be right back that she needed to get gloves. By the look on her face, my guess is, she took the formula back to tweak it as she was not right back. Turns out she did my hair HER way. Did not use my formula and when she left out a step, I asked her why. She said ‘oh I did some different - it’s better..’ No it wasn’t. Why would she do this? When I specifically asked her to do new growth touch up with my specific Aveda formula and she agreed! She didn’t let me know she changed anything until it was all rinsed ou and I asked. By then, the damage was done and she totally messed the color up. You can look at my hair and see where these two ‘color experts’ had been. Grrrrr. My friend who had an appointment right after me with the same stylist. Same thing. Had the Aveda formula for her to follow but again, the stylist didn’t tell anyone she was going to do it HER way! . Dark brown hair now had red/copper roots INSTEAD IF MATCHING DARK BROWB!! The haircut was even more disastrous. Absolutely the worst haircut my friend has ever had! The salon booked an appt to fix that mess with a different stylist. Color was good. Cut -not even close. . This stylist could not cut or fix wavy/curly hair. Needless to say I won’t be back and my friend said they are looking for another Aveda salon. . The Aveda Institute needs to send out trainers to this salon and the stylists seriously need to have an experienced mentor on the floor to ensure quality.

Kayla is the absolute BEST. From personality to doing your actual hair. I can’t rave enough about her. I’ve never gotten a better hair cut or style or color in my life and she always makes my blonde come back to life!
