Natalia is awesome! She's thorough, kind, thoughtful, and has transformed my hair with natural highlights and expert balayage. She's mastered the art of perfectly bouncy face-framing layers and is easy-going and endlessly patient. So glad I found a solid hairstylist in Portland <3

I've been seeing Keely (@hairzbykd) at Ceremony for almost 2 years now, and she has helped me transition from super blonde to brown, to lived-in blonde, and everything in between. I've also experimented with shag, bangs, short, and long hair, and she's been nothing but supportive of my never-ending exploration. She is so sweet, communicative, and talented! I've never been happier with my hair, and I'm so grateful a friend referred her. She is not only an insanely talented stylist but also a wonderful human who you will be lucky to spend a few hours with. :)

I can’t recommend Tracey’s services enough. She did an excellent job with my haircut and beard trim. She is thorough, courteous, friendly, and professional. I am extremely satisfied.

Loved my hair person as a person she was extremely likable and super sweet but she is not experienced in color. I went in for a bright California blonde and walked out a cool ash. She tried to fix it the next day assuring me it was the toner she got wrong. But it became even worse. I don’t know if it was over processed but I had breakage from that. For over $435 to walk out with the color I did I was so sad. I had to wait to get it fixed so it could grow out but I finally did. I was super confused how a bright blonde could be interpreted as a cool ash and I was just gaslighted being told it takes time to get that color and it’s not easy to do which of course is just not true. I would not recommend for blondes.

Camille did such an incredible job with my hair! It’s easily the best cut I’ve ever had. She really listened to what I wanted and made sure to give me low maintenance style tips that work with my lifestyle. Can’t say enough great things about the experience!

I saw Tracey and she is AWESOME. I’ve been asking hair stylists, even people who market themselves as “blonde specialists”, for about 2 years to help me get my hair how I want it. I went to Tracey once and she got it and made it happen. I’m kinda amazed. She’s also incredibly sweet. Huge fan.

Natalia is amazing; I hadn’t had my hair colored or touched in almost 2 years. She brought my old self back and I have received so many compliments on my haircut. She really is the best! So happy to have found a Portland hair stylist so close to home. Thank you, Natalia!

Really cute salon! Camille is knowledgeable and talented at her job. And willing to give honest opinions about your hair. I usually jump around from stylist to stylist but since seeing Camille at Ceremony, I haven’t gone anywhere else in years.

This is the third salon that I have followed Natalia to because she is the absolute best! My blonde always looks incredible and she is so sweet, professional and amazing at what she does. 10/10 will follow her everywhere.

I got a custom shaggy from manda. I have only been to like two other people in my life, so it was really scary for me. I showed up, they asked me about my personality and what I like and dislike in my hair and came out with something better then expected! Super fun personality, knowledgeable and artistic. I live in Seattle but I drove down to Portland so they could do my hair. I would and will be recommending manda to anyone who asks!

I would love to know how this salon justifies charging their clientele $70 for a 30 minute bang trim. Yikes, ladies. This is Portland, not LA. 😋 I will not be returning after seeing how astronomical their prices have become. I’m getting a haircut, not open heart surgery.

I’ve never gotten so many compliments on my hair before but since going to Wendy-people have stopped me to compliment on my hair, even on days I’m thinking I’m having a bad hair day. I call Wendy my hair magician, bc she’s pure magic for my wavy hair. Her razor cuts grow out beautifully and I can go 4-5 months between hair cuts with regular bang trims. To demonstrate Wendy’s magic-the photo of me in the green shirt is after Wendy cut my hair in November. The photo with me in a black and white top, is from mid-February after a bang trim. See-magic!

This is the kind of review that I actually really don't want to leave. The owner Stephanie has been cutting my hair for about 7 years and if Stephanie decides she's going to retire to Florida, then I guess I'm going to have to retire to Florida. she's amazing. But also everyone else on her team is also amazing so maybe book with them and not with Stephanie so it's not so hard to get on her books. The space is intentionally decorated and beautiful. It's the perfect spot to dip in on your lunch break and leave feeling polished and sexy. The products that they use are also fantastic, so if your stylist recommends something I highly suggest that you take the recommendation. they have an online booking system that makes it pretty simple once you know who you like, but every time I call the front desk anyone I talk to is extremely polite and helpful. Highly recommend.

I recently started going to Lynsey here and she really does a great job and tries to help me figure out what I want which is no easy task. The salon is nice and all the stylists here are friendly and do a great job.

Lynsey is the best balayage in town! My hair always looks like it was highlighted by the sun when I leave her chair. She listens to exactly what I want , takes her time with my hair, and makes great conversation. She’s amazing at cuts also!

This salon is beautiful and I had high expectations. But I made an appointment and then they told me a price over the phone and then magically when I go to checkout it’s $60-70 more than I had originally asked for a cut and a toner. The person who did my hair ran over an hour late in the first place so I almost left since I missed a dinner with friends. I got my hair cut somewhere else afterwards and they showed me my hair and it was completely slanted and not even straight at the bottom. It was way overpriced for the service and the treatment I got. I wish it was more transparent with pricing too because idk how it just cost more for the same service I got a price for over the phone. I will not be returning.

I love Ceremony. I have worked with both Nicola and Stephanie and they are both fantastic. I have had many different cuts and colors and loved the results. The salon itself is beautiful and they carry the best products to keep my hair looking pretty between appointments. I also always love sitting on that lovely blue velvet couch and looking through their collection of awesome coffee table books. You should go to Ceremony!

Love, love, love this salon! It is not only beautiful but highly professional with great service. Lauren is amazing - the best stylist I've ever had. Always happy with every appointment. Definitely recommend!
