I was introduced to Chloe through a mutual friend. She gives the most amazing cuts. This is not a budget salon, and I work in the public service sector, so I can only afford to see her a couple times a year, but she completely understands that and knows how to cut your hair so that it grows out beautifully. She's kind and not overly chatty (often I like to just enjoy the experience of a haircut since I work with people all day). The salon itself is beautiful and upscale. They offer locally handmade jewelry, Oribe products, and coffee, tea or water when you arrive. You get a lovely robe to wear over your clothes, as well. I adore this salon and look forward to my next cut with Chloe.

Fantastic haircuts and styles. I've been seeing Chloe for a very very long time and she is friendly, meticulous, and has great suggestions on how to take care of your hair and your hairstyle. The salon itself feels like a small spa - a downtown oasis.

I recently moved to the area and have now been to Charbon for three cuts/colors. Joanna is a master at rich, natural color and I literally can’t stop looking at the cut I just got from Chloe. The salon staff are also super lovely. And to boot, they seem to always run on time! It can be hard to find your “place” when you move cities, I’m grateful to have found such a good salon.

The salon looks amazing and great reviews, but when I reached out to book an appointment I was told my consultation would occur first (which is standard protocol) but that I would then need to wait up to a couple of weeks before I can get in for my appointment?? As someone who gets her hair done often, the consultation is always included with appointment same day, as it’s literally a 10-15 minute discussion about what my goal is and how close we can get to that. Needless to say, not impressed with their initial process.

I don’t think I’ve ever been taken such good care of at a salon in my life. Not even kidding. Really thoughtful stylists, great listening & interpretation of what I was thinking about doing with my hair, friendly & warm. Highly skilled stylist & colorist - I’m still marveling over their work weeks later. Also, the space was really welcoming, without a trace of the slick & shiny, overwrought uber-glamour that run-of-the-mill punks like me find off-putting. Enthusiastically recommended!

After two failed attempts to find a stylist I could trust in the town I moved away to, I now see Raina at Charbon every 3 months when I travel back to Seattle to visit friends and family. She knows what she's doing and has never failed to deliver anything less than a smashing cut. She listens, gets what you want, and knows how to do it right.

Chloe is literally the best ever. I've never found a hairdresser who is both incredible at what she does and is so friendly and kind. Her business is booming because she hires and keeps folks who match her values. I'm so sad we moved out of Seattle to the east coast but have already made a trip back to Seattle to get my hair cut from her. Highly, HIGHLY recommend!

I have been going to Chloe for years. The new salon is beautifully appointed and fantastically located, in the heart of Downtown Seattle and Belltown. The entire staff makes you feel welcome. I get tons of compliments on my haircuts, even though I'm 62 and letting it go grey. Chloe makes me look hip. My daughter, a 27-year-old costume/set designer in New York, never goes to NYC salons but schedules her haircuts for her visits to Seattle, because nobody can style her long, beautiful mane as well as Chloe. We highly recommend Charon Salon.

I would absolutely recommend this salon to ANYONE! I was trying to find Lahiki, who I had seen when she worked previously at Gene Juarez downtown, but was disappointed to hear she had left there. I decided to try Charbon off of a recommendation from a friend and lo and behold, Lahiki now works there!! Lahiki colored my hair to perfection and Rayna gave me a brand new cut. I love love love it! Thank you, can’t wait to be back.
