I have been a client of this salon for the past 10.5 years since moving here from Australia. I have been a client of two wonderful stylists at the salon over the years and Afsaneh Malayeri is my current stylist. Afsaneh has a wonderful knowledge of color and will make recommendations and suggestions for hair color that will complement skin tone. Her understanding of hair and beauty is unsurpassed in the salon and I would recommend her to any new client.

Afsaneh did an amazing brazilian blowout for me!! My hair was fragile after having kids but she listened and addressed all of my concerns. My hair went from very tight corkscrew curls to loose beachy waves that I love! Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Do not go there. The haircut is terrible—worse than a barbershop—and it's more expensive. There’s absolutely no service, and the hairdresser seems unhappy

Sam was kind and caring with my hair! He helped me find a style that worked best for my face shape and brought my flat hair back to life. Was in and out in under an hour. 10/10 will be going back!

Beautiful, clean salon with experienced professionals. In the shopping center in Del Mar. I come here regularly to get my hair blow outs from Sam. Jennifer the owner is so sweet and helpful! They can accommodate your hair/face/nail needs!

My son had Afsaneh for his cut and color and she did an incredible job. He had something really particular in mind and she was wonderful with him and she got the haircut cut and highlights perfect!

Afsaneh is an experienced hair stylist. She was able to cut my long, thick, curly hair to perfection! I can rarely find someone who can manage my hip long length hair and she did an amazing job. I will keep going back to her!

I had a terrible experience with stylist Sam here. The haircut was one of the worst I've had in the past 10 years. It felt like I could have done a better job by putting a bowl on my head and cutting it myself. Funny the owner there claims he's the best! If he's the best, then what about the others?!

I've been going to Fay for 5 years for a hair cut and color and even after moving out of the area, I still drive to see Fay for hairstyling because of the excellent quality. Very opinionated staff. I can hear them gossip so much about their customers. It made me extremely uncomfortable and some are not very educated on what to do with different types of hair.

Maria is the most professional and talented hairstylist I have ever known. I have been going to her for 7 years and she has accommodated my schedule a few times. I look forward to my visits and the 45-60 min drive is well worth it. And Jennifer, the receptionist, always greets me by name when I walk through the door.
