I absolutely adored my hair guy in the town where I moved from, so I asked for recommendations when I moved here, and thank goodness I met Ligia. She’s one of those people who make you feel Cared for. While she is talented and creative, she will tell you If something is not a good idea. You will not leave her hands without feeling blessed.

After a failed cut and perm from another salon, I was very hesitant to go to anybody else. But Angie at Charlie Mac did such an amazing job fixing my hair! It turned out exactly like I wanted!! I couldn't be more grateful to her and the other staff there. Everyone was so nice. Needless to say, this will be the salon I go to from now on. Freaking yaaaayyy! Thank yall so so so much!! Angie has saved me from 2 hair DISASTERS, once when I died my hair bright red with box dye and tried to bleach it out, and again with horrible matts in my hair, with the red, she got my hair back to a beautiful brown and used a deep conditioner to help with the bleach damage, and she removed the horrible matting in less than 3 hours, and not once did I feel ashamed or embarrassed for letting my hair get to that condition, I absolutely recommend this salon and especially recommend Angie, my hairs Hero!

Anna Baxley has been doing my har for over a year. She always does a great job in a quick efficient manor. If I have any concerns she bends over backwards to fix them. I always feel better when I leave the salon with a great color and cut.

I have been going to Anna Baxley at Charlie Mack in Lexington for over a year now. I always love the way my hair is so soft after she colors and rinses with a hair mask. I get a lot of compliments after going to see Anna. She is Always professional and I have sent friends to her as well and they are also very happy with their color and cuts. Rachael Allen @ Charlie Mack Salon in Lexington is a true artist who created the new me! During my very nervous hair extension consultation, she was so patient with me. She provided me with truthful information regarding all of the pros and cons that come with this huge investment of getting g hair extensions! Rachael is absolutely fantastic in every way!! She is amazingly talented with installing Bellami extensions and I would and have already recommended her to several friends who are also considering or wanting to have beautiful hair as well. She is kind, patient, has the value of integrity, professionalism, and a very genuine and personable stylist! She makes you feel gorgeous inside and out!! Love love her! Thank you!!

I've been in Lexington for 3 years and have tried to find a hair dresser I like. Finally found that at Charlie Mack! Heidi is amazing, did exactly what I had in mind and quickly too. They were also very sweet and accommodating about bringing my newborn to my appointment with me. 12/10 reccomend!

Karley is literally so amazing and brought me right to my hair goals. Between getting my brown hair to the perfect shade of blonde, and then perfectly matching extensions to it… I am just obsessed!! She is so understanding of what you want and genuinely cares that you leave happy. She’s super sweet and fun too, so the appointment is always a good time and flies by! I highly recommend her and am so glad I found her. I am a recent transplant to Lexington from Savannah and am SO glad I found my new hair bestie! Get on her books asap cause if anyone sees my hair she’s going to fill up! Thank you Karley for making me so freaking confident!!!

I can’t exactly rate on their quality of work since the stylist canceled my daughter’s appt half an hour before she was scheduled, via a text! AND it was on a Saturday for her Prom! Real professional! When I texted her back and asked if anyone else could do it, since she left me with no time at all to find another appt elsewhere, she didn’t even respond! I wish I could give ZERO stars! Who does that?!?! After an hour of phone calls to other places, we did luck out to have Bliss Salon so kindly squeeze us in, and they did an amazing job!

I got my hair done by Victoria and she did amazing! She’s a very sweet girl and did amazing at doing my balayage. I showed her an inspo picture and my hair turned out even better. Definitely will be going back to her!

Moved down here recently and was looking for a salon to take a few inches off and touch up the layers that had grown out. A couple weeks ago, I was booked with Renee because the original person I booked with couldn’t be there for my appointment so she put me with Renee. Once I left my appointment, I got home and felt like my hair wasn’t evenly cut. I have lots of chopped layers in the back but the sides aren’t cut. I tried to let it go until I straightened it… I don’t straighten my hair often but I did recently and it was then that I realized actually how terrible my haircut is. The back of my hair is chopped up and not blended AT ALL. I am disappointed as I had atleast 6 inches cut off during this appointment. Prior to this photo, I had my hair up in a ponytail and one side of my ponytail was SOO long while the other side looked chopped up. I just took it down.

If you like your appointment (made 6 weeks earlier) being moved via text (I thought it must be an emergency) only to see someone else getting their hair done in the time you were moved from then see Leah (Ligia). TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL. Then she sends another lady to say it's going to be 20 more minutes, 10 minutes after the moved appointment time. I should have been given me a discount however, I was not. I asked for her to do my all over color 2 shades lighter. It was not. The lights make it difficult to see the color so I saw it when I was outside. She also didn't cut any bangs even after I stated that I wanted bangs. Leah (Ligia) treated me as if she didn't want to do my hair and didn't listen to what i was saying. It was as if she didn't want to be there. VERY DISAPPOINTING. The last time Leah was playing a game on her cell phone. It was UNPROFESSIONAL. Then she charged me more than she had been and she didn't put me under the dryer so less was done. Twice was too much. The salon should make sure the stylists treat their clients with respect and actually do a good job.

Ligia (Leah) has been doing my hair for almost two years, and in the process has become a great friend. She always brings my hair back to life and gives me exactly what I want (within realistic expectations). She is amazing with color, has taken my hair from boxed black dye to a beautiful natural brown with balayage. I have long thick hair so it always takes a lot of time but she is always so patient. Even when I tell her not to take the extra time to blow dry and style my hair afterwards, she always does so I can see the finished product. I will only trust Ligia with my hair!

Rachel brought me from a dark brunette to a dirty blonde with plenty of conditioning treatments. Color corrections are tough but she did a great job with the color formulas and getting me to a nice even color. She also cut and styled my hair and recommended products. Very friendly & offered me complimentary water and soda. I will be going back for a full foil in 6-7 weeks! The salon is a fun laid back vibe too.

Today was my first time at Charlie Mack & I was not disappointed. My appointment was with Anna, she's knowledgeable and personable. I went in wanting some layers and balayage & she understood the assignment. Love it!

I cannot rave enough about how amazing Ligia Cooper is!! After spending 4 hours in the chair with her she made me feel like a whole new person!! Recommend 10 out of 10!!!
