Ally is the best haircutter I've ever had - I only trust her with my head and my son's head, who's 5. She's friendly, funny, upbeat, and someone you feel comfortable asking for changes. Can't recommend enough!

Hands down, the best haircut I’ve had in a long time. Ail knew exactly how to work with my hair and nailed the fade and vibe I was going for. She offered suggestions that leveled up the look! My hair feels fresh, effortless, and totally on point. Plus, the whole vibe of the salon was chill and welcoming—10/10 would recommend to anyone who wants their hair game elevated.

Review I’ve always had apprehension going to a white salon because I felt they wouldn’t know how to meet my needs. But when I met a black woman who worked in a white salon space, I felt a bit more comfortable thinking that surely she could care for my needs as mine would be similar to hers. To my disappointment that wasn’t the case. I went in for a full head of highlights with Demi permanent color. I absolutely did not want to bleach my hair. I expressed this to her and sent photo inspiration upon her request. I get to the appointment and she washes my hair and proceeds to put the color on. Previously with Demi permanent color I was blown dry to ensure root to tip were tended to. We move into the unfoiling and my hair color has very little to no change whatsoever. My hair looks more ashy and less dark… the color was rust with lighter bits in a metallic blonde. None of that showed up. I have minimal patches of reddish tint and the style came out in an undesirable fashion. I humbly expressed disappointment throughout the entire appointment and my stylist was very sincere in her apathy around not being able to yield the results desired. They offered to comp my appointment, and the owner offered to fix the issue, but after 6 hours I wasn’t going to let them not charge me. So I paid it and left a tip. A free service wouldn’t change my review. But this is why inclusion and diversity are important. So you don’t leave with disappointment in services.

I was visiting Philadelphia from out of state and was honestly nervous about getting my hair done in a city I wasn't familiar with. The stylist was very welcoming, made me feel a lot more confident that I would walk out with what I wanted, and did a fantastic job with my hair.

I had a terrible uneven cut at a different place. I called them crying. They were able to fit me in - the same day. My hair is fixed. Couldn't be happier and couldn't recommend this place more!!! Thank you so much.

Charlie (owner and stylist) is amazing. It has been years since I went regularly due me my moving. After seeing his smiling comforting face on the street one day I decided to go back to him to fix my horrible hair turning grey. Well, he exceded my expectations for cut and grey blending color. I will never go anywhere again. Thank you Charlie! Loving my new look.

My hair stylist was amazing - incredibly kind and did a wonderful job. My issue was that the prices on the website do not at all reflect how much the service costs. I tried to get an amount before my appointment and was told by the owner that he wasn't sure how much it would be. Based on the website prices, my full highlight and haircut should've been about $200 but when I went to check out I was charged well over $400 (not including tip) and was scoffed at when I questioned it. Again, my stylist was wonderful and did a great job but pricing is extremely unclear and I was charged much more than I could comfortably afford.

My stylist was amazing, but with long hair, my wash and blowout (no cut or deep conditioning) was >$100 (and I had the wrong expectations based on the website). The guy at checkout kind of scoffed at my naïveté. If you go here, I’d just confirm the quote upfront and ask for your stylist to be really clear about any upcharges expected. My hair held up well for a long humid day!

Came in for a walk-in blowout because I had time to kill - got set up with Lex and I think I may have been converted from my previous stylist. As she was blowing out my hair, she noticed a problem I’ve been having about my haircut and fixed it in 5 minutes. Blowout was gorgeous, entire salon was friendly and made you feel at home. Don’t think this will be my last time here!

Hildegard gave me one of the only haircuts I’ve actually liked since moving to the city. The pricing was incredibly fair, the staff was friendly, and my hair looks so much healthier and shinier even two weeks later! She seemed to remove years of damage from color/bleach in about a 2 hour toner/cut process. I’m so happy with it!

I have very thin and stringy hair so it is very hard to work with. I really wanted to go to Charles because he has a bubbly personality and I heard he was good. He was busy so I was put with Hildegard. Turns out to be the best cut I have had in a long time. She took her time and did a perfect cut. I am a barber for 35 years myself so believe me I know a great cut. Thank you!

Much love to Rob Johnson who has been cutting my hair now for over a year now, and for how thorough he is with making sure that the cuts are always fresh. He spends a lot of time making sure that I leave with not even a strand that hasn't been trimmed with care. I also like how James will send a text a day before to remind me of my appointments, and how friendly everyone is in this studio.

I'm always nervous about trying a new hair salon but this was not only the best haircut but also the best salon experience I have ever had. Scheduling an appointment was so easy and quick. The moment I came in I felt welcomed and got a lovely cup of coffee. Sarah was my stylist and she took time to understand my needs and my routine and explained my cut and styling to me. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. 🥰

The best haircut I had in years. Julie is a very knowledgeable stylist and knows what she is doing. My hair can be difficult to work on but she did a great cut. The owner is a very welcoming person. I would highly recommend this place. Overall a great experience.
