Where to begin! Ms Janet saved my skin. For my first visit, i scheduled a simple dermaplaning appointment. During this visit we discussed my skin and its issues in detail and she recommended a chemical peel as my next service. I am about to have my second chemical peel and i can see the results she promised already. On top of being INCREDIBLY knowledgeable is the fact that she’s so willing to share her knowledge with you. She’s taught me so much about my skin and how it works and what products to use. Now i look forward to doing my skincare routine because i know i will see results. Best of all, she is able to order the products i need and i can stop by and grab them! 10/10 visiting. Your skin will thank you!!!!!

Charlotte Spa & Esthetics is the number 1 business for taking care of my facial needs. Janet did an excellent job revitalizing my face. She performed a series of chemical peels to remove the years of damage skin from wearing a gas mask during my time in the Air Force, which had caused scaring and other skin issues. I’ve received so many compliments on how great my face looks, and it has greatly improved my self-esteem. Janet deserves 10+ stars and a salute for her outstanding customer service in taking care of my needs.

I’m so happy I found Janet at Charlotte Spa & Esthetics. I 10/10 recommend her when booking a service. I’ve only gotten 2 treatments so far and have seen dramatic improvements. As a Black woman, it’s difficult to find skin treatments efficient for pigmented skin and Janet delivered. I’m so excited and eager to book my future appointments.

I did the bleaching/peel in my intimate areas and I absolutely love the results!! I saw a significant difference after only the first session. Post care has to be done correctly for maximum results. Janet was fantastic she explained the whole process to me she answered all of my questions and she made sure I knew exactly how to do my post care to get the best results. Overall she made it a great and easy experience and I am so happy with my results!

STAY AWAY! Don’t waste your $$ keep searching for another place! I was lucky enough to find another place who offered the same peeling service and actually worked. This place would make you buy stuff you don’t need and charge you a ton of $ for a mediocre service! No improvement! No peeling! Nothing! Then she would blame you didn’t follow instructions. PLEASE STAY AWAY! ** Response to the owner** This is not a false review! I paid for a mediocre service! No hate but honest review. And YES! There’s another spa who offered this and one visit you could see peeling! Of course it needs more than one session but there HAS to be some type of peeling or ANY bit improvement. Your treatment- Didn’t provide any of it! Please STAY AWAY!

Terrible experience ! The most unprofessional woman I’ve met . She didn’t greet me with open arms she was mumbling , body language was was giving very much distant . She had an attitude . When time for the vaginal bleaching she just stood in the room with the door open and was like ok so lay down 🙄 and when I asked for privacy she literally chose to go back and forth , when she finally stopped trying to argue she mumbled under her breath how “ nobody’s had a problem before “ . She warmed up but she was TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!! Then tried to get off with the money . She said once price then talked her way into literally making me pay for products saying each one was 135 dollars !? WHAT ? And said I HAD to get them . Not informing me of that before hand . DO NOT GO HERE !!!!!!! She’s not worth the money nor time

Wowwwww!!! What can I say, Janet is by far very professional and knows her stuff. She is very passionate about her services provided. She is bringing my skin back to its youthful days lol at the age of 52. My skin has gone through and she has my pores shrinked tremendously!! The dry patches have gone bye bye. I’m a whole work in progress and Janet is a beast in skincare from head to toe, and the rooty to the tooty. I haven’t had the tooty done yet lol but her reviews speak for itself. I’m working from the head down. Get ready because she does not play about your skin, she will educate and correct you as well. You’ll find out you’ve been doing everything wrong lol! Go see Janet for all you skin care, she’ll have you glowing and smiling from ear to ear. She’s the bomb esthetician!!! I love her dearly and you will too!

I went to Janet for skin lightening treatments and the results are incredible. I could tell a difference after my second treatment and I can’t wait to see how my last one turns out. The post care can be tedious but necessary for lasting results. I was very religious about my post care and I’m glad that I was! This place is exceptional.Being a Male i was a little leery about finding the right Esthetician but i must say Janet provided a wonderful service. I was impressed and so appreciative of her professionalism and also how she recommended a skin care regimen after the facial by providing me with products that i could purchase right there at the Spa to make sure my skin continues to improve with the treatment plan she personalized for me . I went to this business with a friend to have intimate bleaching done. This service is $150 on the website but you also have to buy a “post treatment bag” ($80) and I tipped ($25) came to $250 total for this procedure. Takes 3-5 days to start peeling. I followed all instructions and used the products given to me but After a full 7 days I never peeled and had no change to pigmentation so I called and spoke to the owner (Janet). She agreed to have me come in to look at it and said it was my own fault and that I let heat get to that area. I let her know that my friend didn’t peel or see change in pigmentation either but her response was “I’m not here to talk about your friend”. I’m disappointed in Janet’s opinion and shifting blame onto her customers. I figured there would have been at least a SLIGHT change after paying $250 but unfortunately I left unsatisfied. I wouldn’t recommend getting any procedures done at this business.

When I entered the Spa, Janet and I began talking as if we had known each other for years!! During my Facial, she was so professional. My 14 year old daughter and I began coming to Janet in July of this year. Both of us have seen dramatic improvements in our skin and my daughter has regained her confidence back now that her skin is clear, smoother and brighter. Janet is very knowledgeable and extremely thorough. Not only does she provide a great service, she explains and educates us on what's happening in the process and also teaches us how to use the products-which I've never even considered was a factor until I started coming to her. I've always suffered from hyperpigmentation and after 3 months of ongoing treatment and new products recommended by her, I can go out with a bare face which I haven't done in years. To Janet: I encourage you to go into detail about how I was as a customer. I see you even updated your review 😂 As I said I knew you’d have a response, it is your combative nature. I am sure Janet will write a response to my review and I look forward to it and will be ready to share more. This business really solidified for me that I can no longer prioritize black businesses and professionals. Aside of from being agitated, I was highly disappointed in Janet. There were warning signs that I ignored before my service. Extremely late and no acknowledgement or apology. My service was scheduled for 11:00 and we began at 11:40. She commented that she thought I was a White woman because of how I talked. She was extremely combative. Also to be a “celebrity esthetician,” I was not offered a robe or the chance to at least shield my clothes. There was residue all over my shirt and I was headed to work after.I booked a service on line and when it was time to check out she casually mentioned I booked the wrong service but that was not correct. I booked the advanced tca peel service listed on HER booking site and she FAILED to correct the booking site. That was certainly not my problem and I told her it was unethical to charge me more because of her mistake because that is not the price I agreed to. Absolutely no accountability. Really just a gross experience.
