I have been going to Charms for 20 + years. My stylist is Dulce. She knows exactly what I like, I never have to tell her anything. She also has growing hands, my hair is always amazing because of her work. Her color and cuts will not disappoint you. I recommend her forever

I have been going to Charm Beauty in Hackensack faithfully since the beginning of 2022. My hair and face are life to me. It’s my hobby, my passion and I have struggled my entire life finding anyone to do it how I wanted. I discovered Charm by getting my eyelash extensions done there by Kathy. I put myself in tough spot and had a really bright idea to do my own eyelash extensions, let’s just say it didn’t work out. Kathy is so sweet, down to earth and does an absolutely beautiful job. I also wasn’t her prisoner for hours lying uncomfortably. I loved her chair, the tables hurt my back. Kathy is talented and quick. I have real eyelashes because of her!!! When I met her my eyelashes were a wreck, and my eye was half glued together!!! She took on the project and not only did beautiful extensions but nursed my natural ones back to health within months. Monica does my hair every four to five weeks. I like my hair dramatic, it’s like an accessory to me. Every place I went in the past just didn’t get it. I'm clearly not going to the "natural" hair look. Monica honestly exceeds any expectation I ever had. Her personality is gentle and it’s a pleasure having her color and blow dry my hair. I look forward to it every month. Until Monica, I never really left a hair salon happy. The front desk is great too. It’s very comfortable. My career and my family can make it challenging to commit to free time but the front desk never gives me an attitude, even when I call them three times in one day to change the time. In today’s economy it’s very hard to comfortably afford self care like back in the day. Everything is overpriced, especially in the SERVICE industry. The service I receive at Charm Beauty is not price gouged because believe me they can if they wanted to. It’s a fair price for outstanding service. Any other salon within an 80 mile radius charges twice as much (if not more) than Charm for the service I want and I am not exaggerating !!!! I’m very grateful for Charm!

Hair washing and styling was great, but today I was disappointed with color. After making it clear I only want my roots done the color person told them to cover my whole head. I'm African American and wear my hair natural. Many compliments are made with my color in spots of my twist outs or other styles. The bottom line was they didn't listen and to top it off, the price went up. They were rude as I walked out saying what did I want. Still not comprehending, do what the customer asks if it's not wrong.

Have been coming here since I was a kid 30+ yrs. Huge staff, they do everything and have been around decades. Extremely reasonable and they do Men’s hair too! Had the hardest time finding a salon that does men but Charm does it and more. They also even had a barber 10-5 some days, Nick and he surprised me but he does have 50+ yrs of experience.

Valeria does a great cut for curly girls ! However she has been out for some time for shoulder surgery. :( wishing her a speedy recovery. But changing my 5 star review because the receptionist has a nasty attitude and misinforms customers. I’ve been calling since September 30th for a trim from Valeria. Since then they’ve lied and told me “she’ll be back in a few weeks” I’ve legit been calling twice a month. Once in the beginning and again at the end of the month for Valeria’s status. I still get the same answer. I completely understand you CANT rush recovery, but there is no TRANSPARENCY between the salon and guests. I would of been completely ok with hearing she won’t be in for the rest of the year— i would’ve made other arrangements. Instead I’ve been mislead and lied to for months— it’s December 30th!!! Needless to say I will not be returning. Sorry Valeria :/ but I do hope you return soon, your customers miss you

Impressive. I love my hair and it wasn’t cut too short nor was it too long. I don’t remember the hair stylish that did my hair. She was the best and I highly recommend anyone that wants to be in and out. Family friend recommended me to go there ❤️❤️
