The worst experience of my life. We were there for 4 hours!! He absolutely destroyed my nails was ripping them all to shreds. Made me bleed twice . Was not gentle. He acted like he was in a hurry. We will NEVER be back . My friend got her nails done and he got glue all over her skin. TERRIBLE!! Both of the guys that did our nails

Been going here for 2 years now and I have never been disappointed! Love everyone and no matter who does my nails I always leave happy. Brow wax nails toes and great service. Everyone is so friendly and they work well together. They each are particular and I can tell that they all make sure that my nails are even, they make sure no polish is still left on my skin, gentle with the drill… no complaints at all.

Everyone here is great, but for the 2nd time, Trevor did my nails....and he does a beautiful job. Kim gave me my pedicure and she did a great job too. I appreciate Vivian and all her staff, and highly recommend Charming Nails!

I tried to get a manicure and dip. I asked for a pale pink. I wish I had taken a picture of what it looked like before I had them take it off, but the dip was thick, uneven, and bright peach in color. My fingers were the same color as my nails. They wanted to have another guy fix it but after an hour and a half and such a mess, I just wanted to get it off. They soaked it off and this is how they sent me home. They look worse than when I got there. If you don’t know how to do a service, you shouldn’t be practicing on customers.

Just finished getting the best pedicure ever. It's super clean and everyone was so down to earth. Definitely will be back and would recommend :) This is the place you want to treat yourself at!

My daughter and I came in to get botched pedicures fixed from the day before from another salon. We were so surprised to have Vivian take care of us immediately and do an excellent job! We will be back to this salon!

My lady was awesome. She just did my nails excellently and quickly. In and out and not a lot of chitchat which I prefer personally. Will definitely go back.

The staff here is predatory. Avoid this salon at all cost unless you want chemical burns, they have literally no clue what they're doing.

I have come to Charming Nails consistently over the last 6 months to get a dip manicure and absolutely would recommend. Daniel is excellent. He is always methodical and detail oriented so that I leave with a perfect manicure every time.

THIS PLACE NEEDS TO HAVE A MEETING ON CLEANLINESS!!! The utensils NEVER get cleaned!! And outside their door, it looks like spill after spill and they never clean it up!!! Bugs and flies are everywhere. Not a relaxing time!! Very disappointed

Update 9/2024: after a recent visit I realize why I rated this location as such. Recently I went in to have acrylic nails removed and where I thought they would be soaked off, the person there took another false nail and removed them manually, which is not the healthiest way to do that. I also saw a roach in the sink once I went to wash my hands. Not a bad place but I won’t spend $50 on a paraffin wax pedicure again. Polish on toes peeled off like stickers not even 3 days later.

I come here often as they're in my neighborhood. The service is always good. They need to boost their pest control service. The last couple times, I've noticed roaches scurrying under the chairs and had to swat away flys.

I had to go in on a Sunday last minute. The techs there were overly kind and helpful. They got me right in and fulfilled my nail needs. They did an amazing job and my nails look amazing. I will be coming back here for now on!

I’ll start with the good: Very efficient and quick. Friendly, able to communicate well. No appointment needed. Now for the not so good: It felt more like a mass assembly line, get ‘em in and out as fast as possible. Technician was rough and fast, not the relaxing experience I was hoping for. The whole time I worried if the tools they were using were clean because from what I could tell everything on their carts go from one client straight to the next? (God, I hope not). The tables were nasty looking, actually, everything looked like cleanliness was not really a priority for them. The prices are pretty high for being such a get ‘em in get ‘em out atmosphere. Bottom line, Im satisfied with the finished product and I’m glad I was able to get my nails done before work on Monday. But next time I will go somewhere more relaxing. For the money I spent, I want that feeling of being pampered a little bit and not have that fear that I’ll end up with a fungus. Even if I have to pay a little bit more for a much more pleasant experience. UPDATE ONE YEAR LATER, I did end up with toenail fungus down the side of my nail on the toe that they made bleed. I’m so pissed! I should have walked out as soon as I had that grossed out feeling about the place!

Vivian did a good job, she is a good communicator, during the pedicure time she asked you if you felt anything bothering your toes which is the way it should be. The gel manicure lasted as expected. Very happy with her service and atmosphere at her place she keeps everything clean and in order. 4 stars because there's always room to improve.

I decided to go to a new nail shop here in Travelers Rest, as my girl friend insisted that we should give it a try and it really is a beautiful salon, very large as well. Big mistake as not only were my nails shaped oddly, some were rounded and some were square, but they started to fall apart within a week, and I was so disappointed. I went back to Charming Nails and Trevor really took care of me. I always to a gel overlay with acrylic and a gel pedi. I went more festive with some patriotic nails, with the upcoming 4th. They turned out wonderful and so happy to be back.

I have been going to this salon for years..but am not a frequent customer. I was so INSULTED and BELITTLED yesterday. I went to get a manicure and they were very busy…I asked if I should make an appointment and return. I was told, no come on in. A quiet young man started work, and he was very slow and not effectively removing the cuticles and hangnails. After he finished the cuticle work, another lady came, and did them over and spoke to him as he watched. Ahhh. So he was learning. No big deal, we all have to learn and he was being supervised. Part two was the polish. Again there was a problem and a man who seemed to be in charge came and removed the polish and started again. I asked him if the other man was a student or just learning. He laughed and said no he was just DRUNK/HUNGOVER. I laughed and said really…is he learning? Nope, just HUNGOVER. This was so obviously untrue, he was learning. He certainly learned how to run your customers out the door. It made me feel so stupid and laughed at…and you call this a BUSINESS? I PAID TO BE BELITTLED? Nope, never again.

I got a pedicure from an older lady here and pointed out the fact that my polish was uneven! She then tells me it’s because my meat is too close to the nail! My toes look like I painted them myself! I should’ve went to my normal nail salon. Oh and I paid $51.75!!!!!!!!! Edit: I wish I had read the reviews before going here! Smh

I set an appointment hoping this salon would do a better job than some of the previous salons I’ve been to. My left hand nails were longer than my right and both hands were crooked, no cuticle care, didn’t let me wash my hands after drilling, didn’t drill behind the nails and they are already coming off. I got them on Thursday February 22. The nail tech was nice. Just wish to have not had my hands on a towel, unsure if it was washed before my hands were placed and counter seemed to be dirty. I also spent 60, not a reasonable price for how bad they are.

My nail tech left cuts on 3 fingers while doing an acrylic fill. While I was getting an eyebrow wax, the lady made a big deal about how bad my eyebrows were. She also told me I have very oily skin. This is my time for self care and this visit was the exact opposite of that. I will not be back.

The male had a bad attitude about doing a hard gel service. He did not know how to do hard gel but still attempted. It was evident during the service that he was frustrated. My nail hit the inside of the dryer and he said “I don’t wanna have to fix again so be still.” I’m an adult and get this service done often. So I stopped the service at this point and told him I would just go somewhere else. I didn’t get his name but he normally does nails at station 1.
