I love my stylist, Austin! he slays my hair every single time. I would give him 100 stars if I could. I feel like a bombshell whenever I leave his chair. Thank you Austin for my beautiful hair! Everyone at the salon is friendly, the salon itself is so cute and clean, the hair products are amazing. I love coming here!

Omg! I went to see Brianne today for my first-ever curly cut and she did an AMAZING job! She did say that my hair texture is more wavy than curly, but was able to bring out my waves BIG TIME! She also recommended a product which I have decided to try out cuz it worked SO WELL, and she even gave me styling tips, so that I can always style my hair just the way I want it at home. I'm so happy I found Chelsea Salon and it's DEFINITELY my new go-to salon, and Brianne is DEFINITELY my go-to stylist. She's AWESOME!!

After 4 years in Portland and searching for a hairdresser, I was thrilled to find Brianne. She's got excellent intuition about pixie and bob cuts. Sometimes I come in with an idea and let her run with it, other times I come in needing her direction when I'm uninspired. But I always leave feeling like I've got one of the best haircuts I've ever had. 10/10

Austin is a hair magician, and also just a gem of a human being. I get so many compliments after a cut, and I’ve found several new products through my visits (they’re never pushing products—I just love them!). The salon is also just very chill and friendly. Lovely place, lovely people, great hair, A++!

Austin is my absolute favorite person to get my hair cut or bleached. I have gone to him since like 2017 when I was scared to cut my LONG hair and he was so patient. Now Ive had the same blunt bob for years and he gets it perfect every time. He got my hair to platinum the very first time, and then rescued my hair and got it to (almost) platinum after I spent a year trying to be a reddish brown girlie pop and ended up missing the blonde. He also did a good job at trying to rescue my botched hair after a bad haircut from someone else. I moved away but still sometimes make the drive to get my hair done again! He is: patient, non-judgemental, a sweetie pie, and listens to everything you’re saying, and great at what he does. Thanks for many years of good haircuts Austin!

Brianne has over 20 years of experience and is originally from San Diego. She is a down to earth chick who is really skilled in what she does. I went to 2 different stylists before her, showing pictures and asking for a "shaggy cut" with bangs that were thicker so they laid right and framed my face the right way since I have a rounder face, and no one cut my bangs the way I asked. After being referred to Brianne, I decided to take a chance at another stylist but I was starting to give up hope... that is until she quite literally blew my mind and expectations out of the water. I knew my long thick hair needed more time and she didn't rush through my cut even though we went over our time. She was extremely thorough and I get stopped pretty much everyday for the last two months and people comment,"Wow I love your cut and your bangs" "Where do you get your haircut?" "You're making me want bangs" "I think I can pull off bangs because of how great they look on you" "I'm going to ask for your cut next time I go for a new style." Can't say thank you enough for restoring my faith in a good haircut and helping me feel effortlessly confident everyday!

Everyone at Chelsea salon is incredible, however I’m here to leave a review for Brianne…. She is sooooo good at what she does!! She not only listened to what I asked but improved upon a haircut I have had for well over two decades! I’ve never received so many compliments and I will never go to anyone else after this cut if I can help it. Thanks Brianne, you’re the best!!! 😙❤️

Austin did a really great consultation and cut for me! My last cut was a year ago and I wasn't positive what I wanted to do with it but knew that I needed a fresh feel. I showed him some pictures and he talked with me about options and gave me such a great haircut!

Brianne just foiled my grown-out blonde bob and did an EXCELLENT job. The patterning she did will make for a graceful grow out, the color and depth is beautiful, and she even threw in a little trim at the back of my neck! I have been here once before and also had a lovely time and great color. If you’re going blonde; you will be in good hands! Cute place and nice people as well!

The folks at Chelsea are AMAZING! Courtney has been cutting/coloring my hair for little over a year now and I’m so lucky to have her! I can show her a photo of what I’m wanting and she’ll tell me (honestly) how that look can translate, keeping in mind how it will affect the health of my hair and how intensive upkeep will be. They’re always doing awesome, funky styles and put a lot of effort in to create a fun and inclusive environment. Love them!

UPDATE: Carmen cancelled our last 3 appointments and didn't reach out to reschedule. I had to do the follow-up. After last time, I finally got the message; she was literally cancelling me! After years of patronage. Fortunately, there are lots of good stylists and colorists in Portland.
