Description
I specialize in women's haircuts, solid color, balayage, ombres, color melt, fantasy color, foliage, highlights, keratin treatments and hair treatments. For men, I specialize in clippers or scissor cut, straight razor, fades, tapers, beard trim, gray blrnding, highlights, fantansy color, bald shaves and hot towel shaves. I've been in the hair industry for over 16 years. I got my training in Vidal Sassoon and Carlton's Hair International. Im a certified straight razor barber and have completed a master color class for Schwarzkopf color line. I really enjoy being a hairstylist/barber! it’s a non stop learning career. I take time on my work and client consultation is very important to me.

I have to admit, the name can be a bit tricky to pronounce, but the service at this barber shop is absolutely top-notch! Kristin runs this one-woman operation out of a salon suite, and it’s conveniently located right off 75/Central with easy parking. I started going to Kristin when she worked at one of the larger men's salons (think places like The Gent's Place or Boardroom). She was clearly one of the best barbers there, and whenever she wasn’t available, I always felt the quality of service and cuts just didn't measure up. So, when she decided to branch out and start Cheveux, I knew I had to follow her, and I have zero regrets! You have to experience her full service—it's not just a haircut; it’s an experience! From the perfect cut to a relaxing shampoo, hand treatment, and face treatment, it’s a great way to unwind. Kristin even offers memberships, which is a fantastic idea—it’s a wonderful escape from the daily grind, and you leave feeling refreshed and looking sharp. The real standout here is Kristin’s dedication to her craft. She genuinely cares about how your cut looks, and after a few visits, you’ll see just how passionate she is about her work. If you’re not satisfied, she truly feels it too. On top of that, she has all the modern conveniences—online scheduling, text reminders, and she’s incredibly responsive if you need to make any changes to your appointment. Kristin understands that life happens, and she’s very accommodating. If you’re looking for an amazing haircut and a great experience, I highly recommend checking her out!

Kirsten has gone above and beyond with my hair! I told her I wanted to do something out of my comfort zone with my hair color and yet keep it professional looking in the front. She knew exactly what to do and delivered above and beyond my expectations. My hair was so colorful so shiny so healthy after leaving her chair.

This is my second appointment with Kirsten and she continues to be amazing. I have thick brown hair and she did amazing on the caramel colors I requested. She also did amazing on my long layers haircut. I initially found her after my previous salon kept struggling with my color, leaving my ashy or too blond. I’m so happy to have found her. I highly recommend Kirsten, she is so friendly and can do it all! Also very affordable pricing!
