Amazing transformation. The ladies have handled my extensions for more than a year and they are truly the most experienced. I have had extensions for 20 years and Chic Salon is most careful, more precise and most concerned about the condition of my hair along with the overall appearance. This is the best salon I’ve ever been to (and I’ve been to a lot)! Everyone there is so incredibly kind and talented. Daniella at the front desk is so nice and helpful, and really took the time to help me understand the process. As far as my hair, it is in a really bad state state: extremely damaged from so much bleaching and went through a lot of hair loss so that my once thick hair is now so fine, brittle and fried. So takes someone with a high expertise to really install extensions while my hair is in such a delicate condition. It’s also really difficult to mask extensions with such fine hair that has uneven patches of breakage. This is where Julia, the ultimate miracle worker, came in. She took her time understanding my goals and worked so hard to install my extensions in such a healthy manner for my vulnerable hair. She was super meticulous and thoughtful and did such an amazing, fantastic job with the Invisilink extensions that everyone thinks it’s my natural hair! I’m so happy because I had sew in extensions before from Bellami and k tips, and they were so uncomfortable, itchy, and were such a heavy weight on my head that I was worried I could never have extensions in while healing my natural hair. I’m so glad I found this salon and was proved wrong! They are so comfortable I don’t even notice and even forget I have extensions in. It’s also really incredible that they have all types of hair colors AND textures on hand. Most salons only carry a straight texture and aren’t inclusive towards wavy/curly hair. But not this salon: it’s really refreshing to have your hair perfectly matched on the spot! I really recommend them, especially Julia, for all your hair goals!

This place is awesome! Paul did my extensions after they were installed so poorly from another salon. They even gave me a discount for being a first time customer! Definitely consider this place for your hair extensions. They also have an amazing selection of hair!

Everything is clean and detail-oriented, and they make the most of the available space. The staff is kind and very stylish. They offer prosecco, tea, coffee, and water, making it a pleasant place to be. They are very professional and genuinely care about their clients. I will definitely come back.

Lily is beyond amazing I have been dealing with hair loss she did such an incredible job left me in tears. The entire team there does such great work and made me feel so much better. I came in for extensions knowing very little. Lily took time to explain all the options and pros/cons of our options. She did an amazing job matching the color I wanted, and the Invisilink extensions are perfect - so small and easy to hide. Also, choosing hair from their hair closet supply with the stylist to help was SO much easier than trying to buy hair online. I was the first appointment of the day so can’t say for sure, but the salon seems very organized and like it keeps appointments on time. Thanks Lily!

Paul v did a wonderful job on my color and I can’t even begin to describe how much I love my extensions that Lily installed on the same day. I don't really want to share her but... Julia is sooooooo amazing! Need color? Julia is an amazing colorist. Need it cut? Check and check. Extensions? Short? Long? Curly? Straight? Say no more, she's got you covered and will take the time to make sure its perfect. Not to mention she is the friendliest stylist I have ever had. Honestly, can't say enough good things about her cause I'm sure there's a word limit on reviews LOL. Anyway, the whole salon is super professional and specializes in pretty much everything they do especially extensions without damaging your hair :) Love Love Love Julia and NYC Chic Hair Salon! I’ve been to this salon many times for hair and had a great experience. Most recently I went for gel manicure to Tanya - I have long natural nails and when I was asked if I want hard gel or some other special coat I wasn’t sure if this is what I usually get as I never had had this question asked and always got hard gel (which I found out later) by default given I have long nails. I told technician I’m not sure but I ll do whatever she recommends to keep my nails in shape for 4-5 weeks like usual (she removed a coat of hard gel when she was taking off my last mani). She didn’t confirm what she will be doing and finish manicure with just gel. I broken my first nail in 3 days and the rest of my nails felt flimsy and like they will break in the next couple of days. I came back to fix the nail that broke and told her that I felt like all of my nails will break soon and what can be done to prevent it if maybe we need another coat or something else. She said she now recommends hard gel and recommends repainting all of the nails, after she took off full gel from my left hand, someone from front desk came and notified that I ll be paying another 50% on top of what I paid for the first time for hard gel manicure. After that the nail lady gave me so much attitude during the service that I felt uncomfortable receiving it - but couldn’t leave as this is pre holiday and this is the only time I had to take off work to redo the mani. Overall very poor experience, paying double for the decision of nail lady to go with gel only given her 15 years experience in the industry and no other technician before her didn’t do just gel for my long nails. I ended up paying $200+ and wasted over 5 hours of my time for one mani with traffic and parking. But most terribly, I felt like I haven’t received a terrible service and attitude like this during my 5 year of regularly attending number of beauty services in Miami
