$87 just for her to wash my hair barely cut anything off and bangs you can go somewhere else for much cheaper and get the same service/quality.

I've been coming here for just over a year now and I always have a great experience. Isabel is amazing at what they do! Highly recommend them for both cuts + color. Isabel takes the time to talk through what you're looking for and answers your questions/gives suggestions. Plus, it's always lovely chatting and catching up with them. Already looking forward to my next visit!

I’ve been coming to Chicago Avenue Salon for over 10 years. It’s always a great and comfortable experience. Megan is my go-to stylist and is always excellent. I have seen a few other stylists when Megan has been booked over the years and everyone has done a great job. I have long and thick hair so it’s a bit of a handful and my cut and color are always great. Highly recommend!

I’ve been going to The Chicago Ave Salon for years now! Quite literally since I was a kid as my mom was one of Cheryl’s clients before she opened her own salon! Not only is Cheryl incredible but she hires fantastic people who will without a doubt cut your hair in a way that relieves any anxiety. I have pretty curly hair (nearly ringlets) and my cut/colors have been flawless here. They know what they’re doing! Plus, it doesn’t hurt that they always have wonderful service like hanging year coat up for you, offering a variety of beverages, and giving a nice head massage while your hair is washed. Would strongly recommend coming here!!

Absolutely phenomenal salon in West Town. I have been getting my haircut here for the last 3 years from Megan and she's super talented. She always cuts my hair in a way that grows out well and is fun to chat with. Bonus they give you wine, tea, or coffee when you walk in 🥰

Amazon salon such friendly service the stylists go above and beyond to make sure that your hair is perfect for you, the owner is so accommodating and will make sure to ensure that you are happy with your final result, could not recommend this place more I definitely will be a regular on their book list.

Cheryl is my regular hairdresser and she also did my hair for my wedding! Chi Ave also did my makeup, plus the hair and makeup for my mom and sister. We were SO happy with how everything turned out, including my mom who has never gotten her makeup done before my wedding day. Cheryl and her team are so talented and professional!

I’m in Chicago for a wedding and I am impossibly bad at doing my own hair. Based on the Google reviews, I chose this salon for an updo today and I’m so glad that I did! The owner Cheryl did it herself and she really understood what I was looking for! On top of it, she was super sweet and friendly! I will definitely be coming back here to get my hair done the next time I’m in town.

My daughter and I both left Chicago Ave salon with haircuts we love. My daughter went from very long to very short (her idea) and could not be happier. I am always amazed how Cheryl makes my not so full hair look it’s best. We will both be back for our next cuts. Thank you for an amazing experience!

I’ve been searching for years and haven’t found a great salon until I went here! Love gave me the most gorgeous haircut. I have long, straight, and fine hair and most stylists spend less than 20 minutes cutting my hair, but not Love. She took so much time adding tiny, perfect layers and now my hair has so much more body and dimension. I absolutely love it and have received so many compliments on it! Thank you!!!

Services: Balayage with long haircut Stylist: LOVE Environment: Very Welcoming First time client and will remain, all the ladies were very welcoming, salon is very hospital-able and very happy I found it. First time I tried Balayage and really liked how it came out. Love is very personable and professional, loved how my bob turned out. I will continue going to her for all my hair needs :)

Update: Cheryl, the owner, reached out to me directly. She was lovely and apologized for the haircut. She offered a full haircut/ review by her. She did a great job and really made me feel appreciated. I’m really happy she took the time to fix it. The last photo is the very balanced cut she gave me. I want to start by saying everyone at the salon is very nice and welcoming. However, this is one of the worst haircuts I ever received. The photos in black are the day of my haircut. The photo in green is the next day when they “fixed” my hair. I’m extremely disappointed with this haircut and at the price I expected a decent haircut.

I have been going here for over a decade and put total trust in the entire staff and management here. I no longer live in the city but will travel from Palate JUST to get my hair colored/cut here. Taylor is my girl! However I have seen the other stylists rock it out here and see how happy their clients are!!
