The folks at CM are top-tier. I’ve been getting my hair done here for the better part of a year (and my skincare for the past few months), and have always felt like a new person when I leave. David speaks about hair with more science than any barber or stylist I’ve ever had, and Andy is incredibly knowledgeable about the various peels he offers. Will be coming back!

I've been getting my hair cut by Jazmine since she started working here! Over the last 7+ years, she has been more than just my barber, she's been a really cool friend! Every time I go in, we spend the whole time chatting about life, books, shows, music we're in to, family updates, and more! She's followed my journey from traveling and working through becoming a dad and experiencing childhood milestones and holiday celebrations as a parent. She absolutely loves and goes all out for Halloween, she's an avid reader with a huge collection, and loves houseplants of all shapes and sizes! Going to get my hair cut has been such a fun, therapeutic, and mentally uplifting experience for me for so long, and it's all thanks to Jazmine's warm, caring, and outgoing personality. Oh and on top of all that, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that she's an amazing stylist and really knows what she's doing! I've had the pleasure of seeing her get promoted over the years to now being a Master Stylist & Colorist, which is super well deserved! The service here from scheduling, communication, ambience, and services is also really nice. Everyone is always very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Chicago Male Salon & Spa for all of your cut, color, and styling needs!

As a guy with long hair, I really had no idea how to trim/ style it. Elix gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had, and also showed me some amazing products to keep the cut fresh. Now I’m spoiled and can’t go to anyone but Elix. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants that incredible look!!

Erica is the best!!!!! She has been cutting my hair for over 10 years and I won't let anyone else touch it. She is also a barber so trims my beard, too. I always get lots of compliments after a haircut :-). Looking for a new stylist? Your search is over!

I have been coming to Chicago Male for years and have stayed a loyal customer entirely because of the great care and expertise of their stylist Erica. I have changed up my hairstyle a number of times since I met Erica - and I haven’t always known exactly what I wanted. Thankfully, Erica has always been able to help me realize my desires with my hair, and I always leave feeling better and prettier than before. The universe truly blessed me to allow our paths to cross, and whenever any friend of mine is having hair frustrations, I always try to direct them to her. I have been going to Erica for 4 years now. She has done an excellent job every time since I’ve started seeing her. Not only is she a master barber, she’s a great communicator as well. She is very flexible with the styles I request. She is laid back and I always have a great conversation while sitting in her chair. I would highly recommend seeing Erica on your next visit.

I have gotten my haircut for the last ~5x (monthly) by Trinity. Trinity cuts and styles my hair (obviously) like a pro. Beyond that they taught me how to properly maintain and style my hair. I have never been able to achieve the style or texture I wanted on my own (see my before pic attached.) For anyone with my basic white guy hair cut needs I can personally recommend Trinity. And although my haircut is simple, my mind is simpler. The ability to teach me anything really demonstrates Trinity's mastery in their profession.

I love this barber shop! Boystown has lots of incredible stylists, but I always come to this salon to have Aurora take care of me. Truthfully, after 4 hair cuts or so this year, Aurora has improved as a stylist each time. I look great and feel even better after my appointments!!!!!! Best shop on north Halsted if you ask me. I’ll still come back even if I move further west in the spring.

I started seeing Andy this year for facials and general skincare and it was the best decision I could've made for myself. I let them know that I have no experience with this stuff and was basically starting from scratch. I was also anxious because I have sensitive skin and get irritated from alot of products. All I knew was that I wanted the glassy look I kept seeing from TikTok. Andy was really sweet and helped me set up a routine with facials and answered all my product questions since I was ready to finally commit to this. Not only was the facial relaxing, but I noticed an immediate difference, and after sticking to our routine for a few weeks I felt better than I had in a long time. I feel much more confident and look forward to doing my makeup again.

I went here because a guy at a party raved on and on about Jazzy. And it's been years since I've gone anywhere else. She nails my haircut exactly the way I want it every time, even when I ask to do things a bit different. But she's also an awesome person to chat with, especially if you're into books! I can't see myself going anywhere else for as long as I live in Chicago.

He knows when I want to experiment but never lets me go too crazy. The greatest conversationist, friend and stylist. This human being is the whole package. 100000/10 would be back

Jazmine has been doing my hair for a couple years now. She is friendly, attentive, and willing to work with you if you're someone like me that has trouble putting to words what you want. I would highly suggest working with her if you want to color your hair as well, as her skill is unmatched. Overall, great service, and great staff.

Elix made me feel incredibly comfortable starting with a consultation to understand what I was looking for. I felt properly listened too and Elix asked questions that dived into what I was really wanting with the haircut. I don’t love getting my haircut but Elix made me feel right at home and I look forward to returning. The cut was also the best I’ve had. I’ve never seen someone who can translate my fumbling requests into what I actually want but Elix did that. Thank you for making me feel so welcome Elix and for the best haircut I’ve ever had.

I have been going to see Jazz for 4 years and she always does a perfect job on my curly hair. I literally cannot recall a time when at least one other stylist didn't walk by during our haircuts to compliment how great a job she was doing. I live in a different city temporarily right now, but still schedule visits to come back and see her and the nice staff.

I’ve been getting my hair cut and styled by Jazz for a couple of years now and haven’t had a better experience any where else! I came in with the goal of growing my hair out (had the same short style for many years) and she gave me many tips on how to grow, maintain, and style it on my own. She’s always pleasant to talk to and the rest of the staff is always very friendly. I tell all of my friends to come here!
