I’ve been seeing Lia for a couple of years now, following her from Cult of Mane to Cook St and you can bet I’ll be following her to her next space. She gave me my first ever bangs at the age of 30 and has been my partner in discovery through adding fun colors and color blocking. She also made me a red head 🔥 in the best hair decision I’ve made in my life as I told her ‘do what you want’ ☺️ She’s an amazing listener, a truly kind human being and phenomenal at what she does. I can’t WAIT to see what’s next and to follow wherever she goes 🙆🏼‍♀️

Best. Haircut. Ever. I came in looking like the "Before" picture and left looking suave like the "After" picture. I mean.. common! After going to Chichadee I was getting more bi... I mean girls, then I knew what to do with. Highly recommended. Also, I'm a human with human hair doing human things. No dogs here.

Lia is fantastic at what she does. She is warm, welcoming (especially LGBTQ+ friendly), and an expert at her craft. I have curly hair, and cutting curls is definitely an art not a science. She nails it every time!

I am so grateful I found Lia! I have been going to her for color & cuts for 4 years. We started with highlights, went to a really light blonde, and now I am copper and I am obsessed! She really helped me find a style and color for my hair that really compliments my natural features and I feel amazing every time I walk out the door. I’ve been going to Lia at Chickadee Salon for years because Lia is one of those stylists that just gets it. Lia specializes in curly haircuts but she does so much more. She’s introduced me to all sorts of shags, bang types and hair colors over the years, but what really makes Lia stand out is her care for clients. She really listens to clients’ current routines and takes the time to introduce them to new styles, skills and techniques so they leave her chair feeling confident in their new haircut. I have learned so much from her and my hair has never looked better. I highly recommend Lia if you’re ready to invest in a long-term relationship with your hair. She truly does it all.

I’ve been seeing Lia for a little over 5 years now, I believe. I followed her through a couple salons until she opened up Chickadee Salon. I’ve never left her space without feeling and looking better than I did walking in. She’s helped me maintain my long curls, as well as spice it up with a pixie cut and all the stages in between. There’s no one else I trust with my hair as much as her. Highly recommend!!!

Lia is awesome! She makes everyone feel welcome and has a space and presence that make you want to hang out way past when she’s done with your hair. She’s always done an excellent job with my short, curly, blonde hair and has been an expert guide on my “hair journey” for the last 5 years, helping me evolve from a hair metal-style mess when I first met her, to a sharp, modern, and stylish cut that I am proud of.

Lia is the person I trust with my hair. As a gender non-conforming (trans) person I am very picky when it comes to who I pick for cosmetic services. Lia is an incredible ally & someone I feel very safe with, which is so important as an LGBTQ+ person. It also helps that Lia has a great sense of humor and is genuinely great to talk to. I can’t recommend her enough. I barely even show her photos any more, I trust she’ll make me look good! Go see her!!!
