I normally wouldn't do a review especially because the person who did my hair was so very nice... but the blowout was one of the worst I've gotten unfortunately. It was a simple blow out & curls with a sleek front and it just looks like slept on messy curls and not at all attractive. Even as I tried to explain to him it just was obvious he was not going to achieve it so I went home and redid it myself. Salon staff is very kind & it's a stunning salon ... its just not a place I would recommend for any sort of quality blowout for an event.

I have been going to Chris Chase for more than ten years and for good reason. The stylists are highly skilled and the environment is warm, friendly, and welcoming. My stylist is Aut…. She is incredibly talented and always gives me her full attention and exceeds my expectations. I have also received haircuts from many of the other team members over the years and have always been very happy with the results. There is no better salon and no better team than the folks you’ll find when you visit Chris Chase.

Corvette is one of the best hairstylists in Chelsea and in town. Coolest hair salon with exceptional service and attention. Corvette was personable, engaging and inspiring. He’s well versed to what the client wants and what would suit their profile. Worth a visit if you have not already.

I’ve been going to the salon for years now. Last weekend I had got my hair done for the first time by someone new! It was the worst haircut I’ve ever gotten! I had to go to another salon and she had shown me where parts of my hair wasn’t even layered! I spent way more than what I paid with my previous stylist only to get a terrible haircut! Just sad!!! I didn’t expect to get the exact same haircut as my previous stylist, but at the very least on the same level.

After years of searching for a consistent and talented hair stylist, about 7 years ago I found Leonard at Chris Chase Salon and I have never looked back. Apart from his excellent cutting and styling work, his demeanor, kindness and humor make every visit a pleasure. Moreover, the front staff and assistants are always friendly, professional and a pleasure to visit.

I moved to NY a year ago, and the search for a salon that can handle my hair began. I have very thick, curly sometimes frizzy hair. In addition, it's very dark and I like blonde. Some how it had turned somewhat rusty orange. Enter Carlos! He is a thoughtful artist who happens to also be a perfectionist (in a good way). He saw me for a consult, and I could see his creativity and love for big hairy problems (literally) got him started. Since then, I'm hooked. I am no longer orange tand have people stop me in the street to ask who does my color!! Carlos is kind of, thoughtful and really brilliant xoxo

Wow! I am so happy with my cut and blowout. Micky was professional and did exactly what I had asked for. I can confidently say this is the best haircut I have ever gotten. And I am no spring chicken.
