This was my first visit to Circa 79, and had the pleasure of working with Bryan. He transformed my hair from an at-home dye disaster to an absolutely stunning blonde with depth and dimension. I’m beyond thrilled with the results! David is truly a color specialist, and I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend him and the salon!

This was my first time coming here, and although its far from me I'll definitely come back! I'm quite a shy person and get anxious when getting my haircut but my hairstylist was super sweet to me and gave me a great haircut and a funny conversation, she was super technical in the way she cuts hair and you can tell she's great at what she does. The haircut ended up taking 40-50 mins and it was only like 45$ I tipped 15$ and when i showed my mom she made me tip more LOL

I HIGHLY recommend Denise! In May 2023 I attempted to cut my own hair, which did not go well, and Denise fixed my hair for me! In April 2024 I went to a different salon and they botched my hair, I was devastated. Denise fixed my hair again! I feel so much more confident in myself and my hair thanks to her! She is kind, truly cares about your hair, and your salon experience. 10 out of 10 would recommend!!! The receptionists are also kind and helpful! Such a great experience at this salon!

TERRIBLE. Had a stylist named Brian cut my hair. My hair was really long and basically one length. Wanted to shape it up a little bit & take some of the weight off because my hair is very thick. ABSOLUTELY RUINED my hair, cut it in these weird layer lengths in the front, left the back straight. Told me he liked my bangs the way they sweep and was going to cut them a little, my bangs are so short. Looks like a BAD 80's haircut. No excuse whatsoever walked in there with basically a clean slate with my hair all one length he should have been able to easily do a nice haircut. What an idiot.

My family and I love this salon! They are so welcoming, professional, and do amazing work. I bring my four kids for haircuts. Circa 79 has an outdoor water feature along with seating such as tables, chairs, and benches, which makes it feel like an oasis in the desert! We love Annie Rose and Circa 79!

Best salon with the BEST hairdressers. I've don't live in Tucson but only go get my hair done here when I visit my parents a few times a year. Bryan and Trinity are my favorite stylists, but make sure you book at least a few weeks in advance for any stylist.

I go to Emily to get my hair cut. Last time I went, she gave me the best haircut I have ever had and I have never been happier with the way my hair has looked! I love this salon it’s the only place I go to and I’ve never been disappointed ❤️

I’ve gone to Aurora a few times now and she is incredible! I have curly hair and many stylists in the past have left me very disappointed, but Aurora is amazing at translating exactly what I want into the cut. She spends a lot of time before and during a cut asking questions and explaining what she’s doing. I have weird hair with different curl patterns in different places, and she used different techniques on certain parts of my head which made it look more cohesive and similar (tbh I really don’t understand how she did it, no one else has been able to get that right for me in the past!). Will be back again! Side note: Circa 79 is a little more expensive than some other places, but I would say the service and care is very personalized and worth the $$, especially with curly hair as it tends to be unique for everyone.

Nestled in a quiet area with trees in abundance it served as a refreshing and restful place to indulge in necessary beauty endeavors. The inside is clean and quiet but I was not a fan of the decor which I felt was somewhat ostentatious. My appointment was at the end of the day so it was not crowded. I found the hair washing station to be uncomfortable and crowded. My stylist (Bryan) actually listened to my needs and was friendly and talented. Costs were inline with other top scale businesses of this type. Overall, a pleasant and satisfying experience!

So so happy with the magic Fiona does to make my hair the blonde I’m looking for. I’m very particular with my blonde and she kills it every time! She really listens to me about what I’m wanting, she’s honest if it’s going to be a process and delivers every time! She’s fun too! So glad I found Fiona!

I love in Los Angeles and will only cut my hair at Circa 79. It is worth the trip to Tucson. Emily is a sweetheart and always does a fantastic job. It is hard to find someone who can consistently handle a men's haircut with curls, and she gets it right every time. They even trim your eyebrows, which is a pleasant and unexpected touch. Couldnt give a higher recommendation.You will not be disappointed.
